The Elim deaths

It is quite moving to read in the Herald how teacher Tony McClean was found tied to student Tom Hsu who suffered from cerebral palsy. He obviously risked his own life to try and protect Hsu. A heroic act.

It is appropriate for investigations to try and determine what actually happened, was it preventable, and how can one minimise the risk of it happening again.

While it will take some time to know the answers to the above, it has been nice to observe that generally people have not been leaping into the blame game in the absence of known facts.
