Those Members of Parliament who passed the Electoral Financial Bill, conveniently forget that as persons in the Service of the Crown they are in breach of the Crimes Act 1961 sections 99 to 116- Bribery and Corruption, where they have advantaged their own interests to the disadvantage of the Voter.

It is up to the Commissioner of Police Howrd Broad to charge the Offenders under the Act.

Hey I had Winston Firsts candidate for Rodney Tracey MArtin email me yesterday, firstly she stuffed up by not using BCC so I can see everyone whom she sent the email to. Secondly she is “not asking for our party vote” she wants to get Lockwood out. Seems shes campaigning for herself not Winston – wonder what the poodle will have to say to his candidate.

Graham is rather good:

When we’re told what we can eat or drink or smoke or wear or which light bulb we have to use or how much water we use in the shower or how we discipline our children, many think the government is overly interfering. They also strongly object to the way Labour has rammed through legislation on sensitive moral issues despite strong opposition.

Most would agree with those remarks.

I’m not always attracted to Doug Graham’s writings. They usually contain too much pomposity and arrogance for my liking. I would describe it as his superior “born to rule” tone. However, I agree with you that this piece is more down-to-earth and well worth a read.

A simple remark, but to me, it just typifies the deceit and the arrogance of Klark. What the hell would this power hungry crook and cronyist know of any value system, least of all the “kiwi” value system, when if such a system ever existed, she and her extreme left cronies and their welfare and crime addicted voting base have done their best to destroy.

That’s a sure catalyst for change. Kiwi’s are humourous, even though we’re a reserved lot.

Have we understood yet, liarbour has no humour. It has stand over men like Trevor Mallard, a gangster in a suit
and critisisers of success like Michael Cullen who obviously wants us all from becoming rich pricks.

And we have a leader who scowls at the worlds democratic leader but smiles at the communist leaders.

And these all leave an under lying current that somethings not right. and that’s where they will fail, because the under lying current is where everyone looks to for signs of danger. Everyone knows the smooth rip on a surf beach when they see it.

Being smooth and evil is a natural combination that go hand in hand. That current has now been sign posted

Living a sustainable rural lifestyle as I do, I have just had the job of killing five
bantam cockerels and preparing them for coq au vin.

Bantam cockerels are roosters of course but are smaller than regular roosters.
Also being roosters their pelvic girdle is narrow.
As I was grunting through the last stage of the process (yanking all the guts out through the
pelvic girdle) I thought to myself “If I had a young Chinese woman on the workforce, or living nearby who would like a bird or two in exchange for some genuine manual labour,
she would be ideal for this job because my hands are so big I am damaging the carcase.”

Is it not strange that, according to modern mores, expressing such a thought would disqualify me from the job of Minister of Immigration and even demote me out of cabinet even though I, like another person who springs to mind, am scientifically literate, and presumably could be an asset to a modern cabinet?

They will most likely get 6 to 7% of the vote. IF they are lucky.

As to ACT, I’m not an ACT man, but I know enough about them to know they have a great many good ideas to rub together, unlike Labour, which is out of ideas and out of steam.

The current economic “crisis” was created by left wing government interference in the market. The entire sub-prime market was/is Bill Clinton’s mess.

I’m quite sure that if we contrast Owen’s scientific qualifications and publications with Philu’s scientific qualifications “I have an MA from Auckland” we might reasonably deduce that Owen comes out well ahead on the science stakes.

The root problem of most Green parties and NGO’s is that anybody can pay $25 and join and then pretend to be experts on a range of environmental issue. Those of us who do it the hard way via PhD’s have to try to clean up the mess that results.

I thought Clark’s flip flop over entrenching the Maori seats was amazing.

There are no lengths to which she won’t go in order to win.
Have to note in passing, Key looked very confident and very relaxed on TV tonite whilst Clark looked rather tense.

Graham is an unctuous, pompous man who will be for ever remembered for stuffing up the South Island settlement with Ngai Tahu by giving the tribe first and second rights of purchase of Crown property in the South Island for ever — in perpetuity.

If he had been in South Africa and had done this to the majority population he might have been necklaced!

The poll results at the end were a classic.

‘Helen Clark, you brought this up about trust, so we really had to ask the question. 61% of the respondents on the poll don’t trust you!’
