The myth of rich white men from Remuera

We hear a lot from Labour about how rich white men from Remuera will dominate the new Auckland Council.

With that in mind, it is interesting to look at the actual representatives from Hobson Ward (so called home to these awful people), thanks to Whale:

In the Hobson ward of Auckland City (that’s where the blue blood barons, dead white males and rich pricks come from) the Community Board is all women and has one Maori (Hinu Te Hau) and two pakeha woman (Desley Simpson) and (Diane Gribben) and one chinese Frieda Yu.

And of course Councillor Aaron Bhatnagar is Indian.
