You’re dancing on quicksand here.

You have recently claimed to be “ranked in the top 1% of global blogs..by technorati…”. At the time, you even felt confident enough to say this:

i am about to start cashing in on the high global rankigs [sic] for whoar…

So your claim is based, at least in part, on publicly-available Technorati statistics. You shouldn’t need private software to access these statistics, and whatever software it is you’re using, it can hardly contradict them.

But DPF has shown that the Technorati statistics completely refute your claim. And Hurf Durf at 1:53pm has produced statistics from Alexa suggesting that (in Hurf Durf’s words) “no one reads your blog”.

Is this all a horrible misunderstanding on your part?

….errr, check again. You can speak for yourself. And it’s obvious there are a few who like their daily sport, but some have also said they get fed up with it – and that’s not counting those that get sick of it and leave. Either when the see all the rubbish, or permanently. Not that that would bother the team of tossers (when doing this, some show they can be interesting at times as well).

I was interested to know how many like the regular moaning and baiting.

Sorry Chthoniid, I can’t see anything I would debate there. Poaching is a problem for many species. About the only ones you would get debating that is those who think they have a right to make money however they like. They don’t give a stuff about consequences for anyone or anything else. Similar to those who think they shouldn’t care about pollution if there is a dollar to be made. Free market sort of thing.

Actually, the people making the most money out of tigers at the moment are a whole bunch of NGOs (send us $25 and we’ll save the tiger). And they’re trying to lock in a programme that has for the last 30+ years, led to the ongoing loss of wild tigers to poachers.

The problem with tigers is largely political.

Not much that can be done from here then?

We’re a member of CITES and the CBD. Our zoos (along with several Australian) specialise in the captive breeding of Sumatran tigers (via ARAZPA). Both DoC and several of the larger NGOs are members of the IUCN. We also contribute to anti-poaching operations in Indonesia. We’re not entirely without influence.

All this advice on where I should go. I think I can make up my own mind though.
And I am aware I have become an automatic thumbs down for some.

Hopefully the Field verdict and the housing allowance issue will be a catalyst for better rules and guidelines in parliament.

Racer knows there are others who want to keep the pressure on RB. He makes major claims backed only by nutters. Bill O’Reilly, Ann Coulter, Karl Rove, Glenn Beck all recognise the distraction this is for the GOP. It is damaging the Republican recovery far more than Goff is hindering Labour’s recovery. Goff just seems to be floundering a bit with Labour. The birther movement is a major embarrassment to the GOP. It suggests their core support are nutters. It reflects on the whole party. It has become a runaway train of stupidity and blindness to reality.
