Hmmm its called learning from the best…….if you are an aspiring to be a top athlete or businessman then you look to emulate those who are most successful in their field.

So if you are an aspiring fraudster figuring out how to take money off unsuspecting people………..well it only follows that Ms Clark would be a natural mentor to follow huh?

Hobbs offered to resign

There is a report the chairman of the New Zealand Rugby Union, Jock Hobbs, offered to resign but was turned down. This morning’s Sunday Star Times says Mr Hobbs volunteered to stand down during a board meeting last week. It seems he wanted to clear any doubts about his abilities after the failure of Strategic Finance, of which he is a director. Strategic went into receivership just over a week ago.

It is thought Jock Hobbs was essentially doing the honourable thing, offering to step aside if other directors had doubts. Quite clearly that is not the case. The report says his colleagues on the NZRU board turned down his offer to quit.

Offered to knowing his mates were not going to take his money away? Any balls and he would not have asked them, he would have quit and worked for nothing for the investors that lost their money.
