Miss Universe candidates in the House

During question time today, an MP asked the Speaker if he would be making note of the special visitors in the gallery – the Miss Universe New Zealand contestants.

If you watch the video from 4:00 minutes onwards, you’ll be pretty amused at the various points of order MPs made. The best was Darren Hughes who did a point of order to declare that he wanted the contestants to know that the Labour Party also believes in world peace 🙂
