Learning a second language is extremely time consuming and comes with an opportunity cost. I would like a new universal language like Esperanto. Funny how a lot of people would howl at an idea like that.

Got this in my email inbox today 🙂

Hone Harawira was seated next to a little girl on an Air New Zealand

patty, and a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that is?”

Hone looked visibly surprised by the little girl’s intelligence, thinks
about it and says, “Hmmm, I have no idea.”

To which the little girl replies, “Do you really feel qualified to
discuss global warming, universal health care, or the economy, when you
don’t know shit?”
She went back to reading her book.

And for once, I agree with John Minto. He reckoned that Henry had to go. because he’d reached three strikes. Using the same logic, you get this:

Strike one: Belting Tau Henare, and getting prosecuted
Strike two: A homophobic interjection against Christopher Finlayson
Strike three: A racist slur against Indians

C’mon John and Matt; be consistent. Trevor’s had his three strikes; get down there and demand that he be sacked! Or is it OK to be a hypocrite if you’re from the Left? Hang on; don’t bother to answer that…

Not being in favour of three strikes as a magic solution to anything, I just can’t agree. If Henry ‘had’ to go, then Mallard has to go. There is a difference, though – if the good voters of Hutt South don’t like what Trev said, they can vote for someone else. Henry, in contrast, resigned from his job.

I have and do employ Maori and have yet in 45 years to find a use to te reo other than as an excuse for failure.Waste of time and money but, if someone wants to learn te reo then they are free to do so Just like most things in life.
No reason at all why the rest of us should be harassed to support or pay for the bullshit language that is used by Maori elite to create mumbo jumbo confusion in the minds of Pakeha and others. Its insulting.

Shane Jones had a good go at it on Q+A yesterday. Prehistoric mumbo jumbo form people who should know better.

Surely I did not hear correctly? One news going on about it being Maori language week and the theme is “cherish”. I nearly dropped my G&T!!! Cherish…… How about cherishing children rather than shaking the shit out of them. How cherishing the law rather than languishing (disproportionally) in the prisons….. Tokoroa Appeal

Massive storms hit Tokoroa in the late hours of 3nd July 2011

Victims were seen wandering around aimlessly, muttering
‘Faaackinell’…

The storms devastated the area causing approximately $30 worth of
damage.
Three areas of historic burnt out cars were disturbed. Many locals
were woken well before their Work and Income payments arrived.

The South Waikato Times reported that hundreds of residents were
confused and bewildered and were still trying to come to terms with
the fact that something interesting had happened in Tokoroa.

One resident, Tina Smith-Brown, a
15-year-old mother of 3 said ‘It was such a shock, my little
Chardonnay-Mercedes came running into my bedroom crying. My youngest
two Dunhill and Jack Daniels slept through it all.’

Apparently, looting, muggings and car crime were unaffected and
carried on as normal. The New Zealand Red Cross has so far managed
to ship 4,000 crates of Waikato Draught to the area to help the
stricken locals.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

This appeal is to raise money for food and clothing parcels for
those unfortunate enough to be caught up in this disaster. Clothing
is most sought after – items most needed include: flannelette
shirts, Fubu jeans or puffer jackets, bandanas (blue in colour,
definitely NOT red) jandals and any other items usually sold in
South Auckland markets. Food parcels may be harder to come by, but
are needed all the same.

Required foodstuffs urgently needed include: Fish and Chips,KFC,
Baked beans, Ice cream, Chips, Fizzy drinks.

Donations of $28.00 will be taken to buy a packet of Port Royal 30
grams and a lighter to calm the nerves of those affected.

Please don’t forward this to anyone living in Tokoroa – oh, stuff it,
they won’t be able to read it, anyway!

I just watched Close Up, I’m confused. Can someone explain why chemical highs are legal and natural ones aren’t? I don’t do either but this one has me fucked. A mind altering substance that (apparently) nobody knows what is in it is legal, and rules around it’s sa;e are being formulated. A mind altering weed that grows freely anywhere and is one of natures plants is illegal?
Hmmm, I suppose a cynic would say the word “freely” might give us a clue.

He claims to be a right winger but from what I can work out he is a bludger who has not worked for years. He also has a hated of females, I suspect he is gay to tell you the truth.

His homosetendenciesnceis come out when he is highly agitated, given that he is a complete nutter this happens far too often for my liking, for some reason he keeps asking me out on a date, I have told him time and time again that I am not gay but the fool persists.

Oh well, at least I know you are not him posting under another name, hell, if you were D4J I would imagine that this post would drive you crazy….good job you are not aye.
