Why do you expect people to vote for you as mayor, when you (based on your performance here) you would be an unbelievably arrogant mayor who would simply refuse to answer any questions you didn’t like? You and a few others keep trying to frame me but I think most will see that for what it is.

Perhaps you could turn your attention to inspiring debate on something that matters. But maybe that’s not why you comment here, you seem more intent on personal attacks and diverting debate.

There’s been cases where someone has died after being punched. I’m sure the person throwing the punch didn’t intend to kill the victim. You’re likely to kill someone stabbing them in the chest… good chance. It’s not 100% guaranteed. It’s likely someone has survived such an attack. People survive all kinds of shit.

And can you swear they intended to kill the victim?

And I don’t smoke anything. Sorry mate. You know… retards that stab people aren’t the brightest. It’s therefore believable that they really didn’t intend to kill them. It’s entirely possible they did intend to. They don’t think- that’s the problem.

And unless someone happened to have been there to see it… and even then… hard to prove what someone’s intention was or wasn’t. Intention is distinct from ‘should have known was likely to kill by stabbing in chest’.

2. A donation of “Anonymous- radio ads” .

On Monday 30 April 2012 you made a further complaint in respect to the election expenses donation return by Mr John Banks. Your complaint referred to media articles by Campbell Live (27 April 2012) and the New Zealand Herald (28 April 2012) that discussed donations allegedly made by Mr Dotcom to Mr Banks for his mayoral campaign .

Vote her in. Give her what she wants. Two reasons:

1. I don’t live in Auckland so it’ll be a hoot.
2. By morning tea there will be a stack of reports on her desk, all requiring a decision affecting ratepayers. She’ll be stuffed.

Wombles like Half-a-Penny Bright can only function outside the tent. No theory ever gets tested, no reasoning needs to be justified. I suspect every town has it’s resident Penny, it’s just that most of them haven’t discovered this blog. Dunedin’s is actually on the council. All you hear from him is no to this, that & everything else. Of course, he may actually be correct occasionally, in the way that a stopped watch is right twice a day, but no-one really takes any notice. So I always vote for him. One day he might just have to actually make decisions. Then he’ll crash & burn & fade away.

Not that Penny reads any of this of course. As others have speculated, I suspect she pulls over to GD just long enough to let the cats disembark to urinate over the post, then load ’em back in & fire up the broomstick.

1. You’ve asked the Solicitor-General to “intervene as Prosecutor” in the private prosecution proceedings brought against John Banks by Graham McCready. One would normally assume that McCready, having commenced the proceedings, would be keen to see the matter through to the end. So why are you desperately asking the Solicitor-General to “intervene” in those proceedings? Surely not because that would mean the Solicitor-General (which effectively means all taxpayers) would pay the prosecution side of the legal bill for the rest of the proceedings? Is that too cynical a view?

2. You’ve chosen to align herself with Graham McCready. Are you aware that his track record includes making false tax returns (convicted in 2009) and blackmail (pleaded guilty on the day his trial was to have started)? Do you see that as consistent with your equally dodgy track record (which includes refusing to pay rates)?

Listening to that creepy wimp explained why the “comments” of msm are so banal. Of course they put the odd rough one in there to give the impression they are balanced. The other trick is if they get 10,000 comments against a lefty cause and 100 for a lefty cause, they allow slightly more lefty ones through and call it “balance”.

David, not sure if you are around – interested in your take on this one.

Has the 22 months been added to the original sentence, breach of parole, or is it a new sentence for the photos etc of the little girl? If it is not the latter, then it appears he has not actually been charged/sentenced on that issue. The report is not clear of exactly what the charges were. I would be interested to know.

Your opinion? 22 mths????

Life skills- morals- behaviour- actions- consequences. A lot of people don’t receive any advice or education about life and how to think and behave. So that’s a very good idea. If the fella had had good people in his life that could have brought him up according to a positive set of values and beliefs etc then it’s highly likely the incident would never have happened.

It doesn’t excuse the act itself… in the end it doesn’t make a lot of difference.

It’s a bit too simplistic to say ‘mate, you parked a knife in his heart… you wanted to kill him, clearly’. Really?

Look at the description of the altercation. Road rage. What did the bloke in the car do? He stopped to do what exactly? There was a confrontation. There’s adrenaline. There’s the heat of the moment.

It’s a road rage incident for fuck sake mate… have a think about it. Did the lowlife Robinson really stand there and think ‘I definitely want to kill this tosser. I want him dead. I don’t care about being locked up.’ He might’ve, but I highly doubt it. Not many people really want to kill someone else. He would have to have been thinking…’this fuckwit disrespected me with his driving and now he’d in my face. He deserves to die for that’. That’s extreme. It’s unlikely he thought that and as I said… it’s unlikely he’s thinking about his actions ahead of time. It would’ve just happened fast and that’s it.

Whatever Robinson’s background and mentality etc it doesn’t excuse the act and myself I’d put him away for a good long time. For me it’s got nothing to do with the effect of whether he intended to kill or not on the sentence… but it’s rationally conceivable that Robinson didn’t intend his victim to die. The whole thing happened out of nothing. He’d have to walk around with the mentality of…’anyone who fucks with me… I want them dead’. Really? Could be… I’m just saying… you can’t say 100% that a young man wants to end the life of another person.

I know it’s not the same but still… over the limit drink drivers don’t intend to kill anyone either. But it happens. All the time. They must’ve known it’s possible when they get behind the wheel. But then they’ve been drinking and their judgement is impaired. Shouldn’t they be given a very big stretch for manslaughter? After all.. if they took someone’s life. That’s the other end of the scale. But there’s a scale. Drink drivers are actually unlikely to kill someone per illegal trip. Stabbing a person in the chest is likely to kill them. Confusing likelihood of causing death with the psychology of intention/ motive/ situational behaviour.

Looking at life mate… honestly? I doubt that he really wanted to kill someone. He’s a fucking idiot that’s for sure. Either that or he’s a cold-blooded killer like Burton. I’m just saying you don’t know for sure. It’s not as cut and dried in my opinion.

Had an email from Graham McCready confirming that John Banks will be appearing in the Auckland District Court (Albert St) Wednesday 8 May 2013 at 9am.

(It has not yet been confirmed whether or not the Solicitor-General Michael Heron will ‘intervene’ in the public interest, in these proceedings.)
