Gulag, yes t=would of been US elements advoacting independence for India during WW2 and they weren’t exlcuslively from the military .

They were also merely being consistent with their countries own Republican traditions and honouring the Declaration of Independence 1776 therefore symapathetic to Ghandi and the Indian Independence movement .

Your not serious in suggestion that Clare Luce wanted the US to annex India.??

So you didn’t read the link.

Sure Yanukovich would have stolen plenty while in power – that’s what corrupt politicians do.

But the gold went missing AFTER he was booted out of the country…from 8% of reserves to 1%. Note gold reserves were at their highest WHILE Yanukovich was still in office.

The current government tried to hide it, but finally admitted it is now mostly gone.

Try again.

Check out Germany and the Swiss trying to repatriate their gold. Good luck to them.

I understand that the following OIA reply, dated 13 October 2014, to a request asking whether you hold dual citizenship, and are also a citizen of the United States of America, has been refused, by the Ministry of Justice,

Interesting to see Penny DEMANDING a straight answer to a straight question. As she is so keen on people answering questions, I’ll repeat this one that I have asked for more than two years – which Penny has NEVER answered.

If you, Penny, were to run for a local body election again, such as Mayor of Auckland or MP for Botany or Remuera, would you commit to abide by the principles of points 4 and 5 of the “Draft Action Plan” that you have often talked about, and Occupy Auckland’s General Assembly supports? The two points in question are:

4. Legislate for an enforceable ‘Code of Conduct’ for NZ Members of Parliament (who make the rules for everyone else).

5. Make it an offence under the Local Government Act 2002 for NZ Local Government elected representatives to breach their ‘Code of Conduct’.

In other words, will YOU, Penny Bright, happily sign up to a ‘Code of Conduct’?

If not – WHY not?

I’ve never thought of the USA to be an enemy of the free world (present administration possibly excepted) but it would take a leap of imagination to think that their backing of the UK during WW2 would extend to protecting Britain’s position in it’s protectorates & colonies.

The USA & Britain are only arms length friends or allies & only when it suits them.

 I think if every rate payer stopped paying rates until things got sorted honestly then I would be surprised if they would pursue so many because a revolt could happen again over penalty charges. They arent even really chasing the 1s who refuse to pay rates now.

I pursued the rates penalty business a few years ago.
Rates are struck on an annual basis and I believe that penalties should not be charged until the end of the rating year on the outstanding amount ,if any.
The Minister I dealt with at the time said that the penalties helped councils cash flow.
I disagree and still feel no penalty should be able to be applied until the end of the rating year.

The question apparently is: Can GST be included in a penalty.
The Council says the rates are GST inclusive. Then says a penalty is 10%.
Not 10% then less 15% of that to remove the GST.
The penalty is not a charge for further goods and services, it is a punishment for late payment.

Yes, it can. GST is charged on the supply of every single good or service in the entire economy UNLESS it is SPECIFICALLY either zero-rated or exempt.

Exemptions include financial transactions and rent, zero-rated supplies include exports. Everything, repeat every single other thing, is included.

Regardless of whether you think it is just in this rates case, this blanket simplicity is what makes GST the success it is here, as opposed to in Aus or UK, where both look at us in envy. The lefties of course don’t get this and wish to change it and the media of course don’t get this either and agree with the lefties, like they always do on important matters like this which will never ever achieve the objective the lefties are aiming for.

But that’s life, isn’t it.

The ‘Satellite Image’ Of A Ukrainian Fighter Shooting Down MH17 Is Bogus,

There are a number of issues with it.

1, Where were the Satellite images sourced from.?

2.The satellite image is taken 50ks from where M17 actually fell virtually falling vertically from the sky.Its likely witnesses would of seen the flame trail as the stricken craft began its l descent from 50ks away

3. The alleged fighter certainly does not look like a Su25 and its difficult to determine its orientation in relation to the airline and why the oblique angle.?Usually it would attack from the rear of M17. The damage to M17 it was mainly in the forward cabin area.

4 .Experts familiar with satellite imagery say the scale in relation to ground to altitude for the airline is not right. But real damning is the fact the skies were not clear as the image depicts . It was cloudy that day.

4.Equally damning is the fact that the Airline livery is in the wrong place and appears to have the original Boeing house livery .

Voltaire net from where Lew Rockwell sourced his material is a notorious anti Jew and conspiracy web site .

A Su25 ( original claim )or a Su27 to a Mig 29.?

The aircraft livery issue.?

The weather problem.?

The aircraft profile .? A 777 or more likely a 767 200. series .?

You concede now that Ukraine handed over its ATC tapes like the Russian federation to the Dutch safety Board as per their preliminary report. s 2.5 etc

Or are they lying.?

Then same start date till 2014 with any series.
you get a higher warming trend every time.
Ie using giss temp trends 1979 to 1998 0.125 decade. 1979 to 2014 0.157 decade
The faux “pause” is based on a step change in 1998
No reason to think a similar leap will not repeat in the near future.

My link pointed out the inconstancies and problems in the Russia TV ‘s claim leading to the resonable conclusion the satellite images were likely faked .

Begin a reasoned and rational rebuttal of the points raise by my link if you please ?

GSt Act says that a local authority is deemed to have supplied goods and services to anyone who is liable to pay rates to the local authority. GST is therefore payable on “rates”.
Local Government (rating) Act defines “rates”. The term specifically includes penalties imposed under S 58.
GST is therefore payable on any amount payable if the amount payable comes within the definition of “rates”.
It follows that GST is payable on penalties and even penalties on penalties.

None. Neither EAD nor Reid read widely. They both source from a tiny number and narrow range of fringe economic nuttery, conspiracy web sites, and Kremlin controlled propaganda sources.

Though to be fair, Reid will sometimes extend himself to reading white supremacist sites.

You are dealing with genuine cultists here, not well informed, well read people. Which is why, when pressed, they both fall back on the “you just don’t get it” or “swallow the blue pill” crap. It’s the talk of the kind of people who followed Jim Jones to mass suicide.

The British Empire in 1922 was huge [one fifth of the world’s population and one quarter of the landmass of the planet] and one can only deduct that anti-British elements in the USA saw the British Empire as a rival than needed controlling or taking over hence the advocation of democracy in India. Democracy would mean the US could get around the colonial power structure.
