No, sorry Reid but that is not a valid answer. If there is no independent verification, or at least some independent evidence, then just saying “open your mind” is meaningless, and being suspicious of claims that don’t look credible is not an example of a closed mind.

Lucia if you read it properly using English you’ll find the article isn’t about reptilians it’s about the law.

Yes, I did see that it was about the law. However, the piece does drop the bizarre assertion that there are such creatures as reptilians, and that they are involved. To prove that the article mentioned reptilians, I blockquoted the appropriate paragraphs and highlighted the words.

But people like you, who seem to hallucinate you already know what something says before you even acquaint yourself with it, often do that. One wonders why.

I am acquainted with these arguments. I just don’t believe in reptilians.

The teapot tapes and the ensuing hue and cry meme was merely one example of making something into something else. But that of course was done by an ignorant, highly biased naive media trying to prove something and definitely not to inform. So what’s your excuse?

I scan untrustworthy articles for potential issues. If there is one, I then rate the issue for severity. Mentioning the word reptilian (as if they really exist and control the world) is right up there on the scale of seriousness for treating the whole article as complete fiction. I’m not going to then go back and read the article more deeply, because stuff that’s made up like that is just not interesting to me. Even as fiction it’s not that interesting.

Red, BB, Shawn – Why not take this to TrueBlue.

If your discussions are as worthy as you all seem to think the ratings would skyrocket! If (as I suspect but am happy to be proven wrong) no-one give two flying fucks about your infantile and pathetic bickering then at least we don’t have to see it.

For all of that sometimes any one of you make good and interesting points but when you abuse each other as you have in this thread it is neither entertaining nor interesting.

It’s not my blog of course but as a reader I wish you would all try to make a positive rather than negative contribution.

The headline on this post is just meant to be funny, and not meant to start a redbaiter bash-a-thon. I apologise to redbaiter for having started this mess!

However, you asked for ‘evidence’.

There were only two credible answers:

1) he did it himself
2) he has a group of people following him wherever he goes who provide the majority of upvotes on his comments within a very short period of the comment being posted

Answer 1 is simply more plausible.

One of the most upvoted commenters is Travis Poulson. And even when he chucks out one of his pearlers it takes several hours to accumulate the upvotes. In comparison, redbaiter would collect his within the first 15-30 minutes, with a few stragglers following over the rest of the day.

This sort of “upvote pattern” is exclusive to redbaiter. Nobody else enjoys that sort of instant approbation from the readers. So, unless he has a couple of dozen groupies hanging on every utterance the moment he shares it, I truly believe his popularity, such as it is, is largely of his own creation.

I’m not surprised, I’m not even disappointed, for your reaction is expected.

But I do feel sorry for you. Just as I do for the South East Asian family who live on the rubbish dump, little knowing there is an easy way out, yet resisting efforts from those all around them, to move them from their wretched, if to them comfortable, state of mind.

You don’t need BTW to explain there’s no need to feel sorry for you, I already know you think that. The fact you are comfortable in your crapulence, is why I am.

Why haven’t you read my comment? It links directly to some of Redbaiter’s last comments on WhaleOil where you can see for yourself that he obviously did not uptick himself. Just look at the data, no Petal’s accusations.

Reid law books say nothing about reptilian aliens controlling the world. Your article did, so that is cased closed on the credibility front I’m afraid.

And unless you have a law degree, I’m no more inclined to take you seriously on that front than I was UglyTruth.
