Partly. It also came out of the Libyan “freedom fighters” sponsored by Nato and the evil ones who destroyed the most peaceful and best educated country in the ME, and it also came out of Iraq, after Israel had used the US’ blood and treasure to deal once and for all with Israel’s Public Enemy #2.

It’s now got a bit too big for its britches, doing things all branches of Islam except the fanatical Wahhabis totally and utterly condemn plus it doesn’t obey its Israeli and US masters anymore either. Which is why it will need to be dealt with sooner or later, just another failed experiment from the stable of the Muslim Brotherhood, just like the Taliban was.

Must be terribly frustrating these days, being an evil one. They just can’t seem to get any mass slaughter going no matter how hard they try, and no matter how incredibly mindless and stupid are all the Westerners who just stand around bleating in their green fields of happiness and content while the evil ones use their own money to fund forces which eventually, one of these days, will come and slaughter all of those particularly stupid and mindless sheep. Reid, phooey.In March 2011 there were peaceful protests in Alleppo arising out of similar in Lybia and Tunisia etc. Like Gadaffii Assad responded with an iron fist shooting and killing many of them.Civil War ensured with the opposition breaking up into a number of factions of varying extremes .One of those were Al Qaeda – al Nursa supported by other a Sunni extremists especially from Iraq.Intersestingly Hamas supported them and the civil war escalated into a largely Shia ( Assad ,Iran ,Hezbollah Lebaonon ) versus Sunni ( Iraq and various Gulf states ,Taliban too )

Into the complex mix of factions stepped Putin backing Assad and the Shia.The US decided to back moderate factions such as the Free Syria Army etc but refused to send e.g Air to surface missiles least they fall into the hands of Al Qeada al Nursa and their other Sunni extremist allies .The refusal to send those missiles certainly blunted the moderates effectiveness and has enabled Assad to prolong the civil war and maintain an upper hand .

Into that complex mix out popped the Sunni ISIS who grew out of Al,Qeada in Iraq and owe their fanatical Ideology that grew out if the Iraq war 2003-8 and a quest for an ancient bygone caliphate .

Just to defend the Filipinos in New Zealand and we have many in our church, they come to NZ for a better life, they work hard and they look after their families. What they don’t do is get drunk, take drugs and not turn up for work and then expect to get the dole. Unlike some New Zealanders I know.
The sad fact of the matter is that most young kiwis will not work in dairy farms because they don’t like the early starts.
The other sad fact is that there is plenty of work for even unskilled labourers in Christchurch and Auckland where they are crying out for workers. No able bodied young male should be out of a job, there are plenty in those two cities.
If kiwis won’t work then Filipinos will. It seems a shame I admit and why we still pay out the dole is a mystery to me? Especially when the government will give you 3k to go to Christchurch!

Perhaps I missed it out because its not true.

See when Germany reunited the East German army was integrated into the German army and its existing weapons were now surplus perfect being transported to places where the West wanted to cause problems

So they were transported to Northern Albania and from there to Kosovo where they did what they were supposed to do, create mayhem

And when the legitimate authorities tried to restore order they were demonized and eventually the justification for the smashing of Yugoslavia was established

NATO now occupies Kosovo which like everything America touches has become a failed state.

In fact the anniversary of Kosovo’s independence was celebrated last week by Germany sending police to its borders to keep the people of Kosovo in Kosovo and out of the EU, particularly Germany

The investigation was delayed, underfunded, set up to fail, a conflict of interest and a cover up from start to finish. It was based on testimony extracted through torture, the records of which were destroyed. It failed to mention the existence of WTC7, Able Danger, Ptech, Sibel Edmonds, OBL and the CIA, and the drills of hijacked aircraft being flown into buildings that were being simulated at the precise same time that those events were actually happening. It was lied to by the Pentagon, the CIA, the Bush Administration and as for Bush and Cheney…well, no one knows what they told it because they testified in secret, off the record, not under oath and behind closed doors. It didn’t bother to look at who funded the attacks because that question is of “little practical significance“. Still, the 9/11 Commission did brilliantly, answering all of the questions the public had (except most of the victims’ family members’ questions) and pinned blame on all the people responsible (although no one so much as lost their job), determining the attacks were “a failure of imagination” because “I don’t think anyone could envision flying airplanes into buildings ” except the Pentagon and FEMA and NORAD and the NRO.

“Last year was no easy ride for Hong Kong. Our society was rife with differences and conflicts,” he said.

“In the coming year, I hope that all people in Hong Kong will take inspiration from the sheep’s character and pull together in an accommodating manner to work for Hong Kong’s future.”

He described sheep as “widely seen to be mild and gentle animals living peacefully in groups”.

Chambers dictionary describes a sheep as “a creature that follows meekly, is at the mercy of the wolf or the shearer and displays tameness of spirit”.

Chinese officials have repeatedly stressed the need for a harmonious society in the former British colony, which returned to Chinese rule in 1997.

Oh dear – telling people to be like sheep – that Lunar New Year message won’t do much for democracy in Hong Kong!

I wonder, though, what his strategy will be when the lunar cycle switches to something more exotic – like, say, the year of the dragon?

I’ve read another article – this one – that quotes Foreign Minister Julie Bishop as saying that:

– about 90 Australians are fighting with IS;
– another 20 have been killed in battle; and
– about 100 more have had their passports cancelled.

It’d be interesting to see comparable statistics for New Zealand.

In fact, Islamic State is such a perfect organ for draining the surplus reactionary-male rage from a certain demographic of the secular West that you can’t help wondering, sometimes, if it’s a Western invention. I doubt that; just because IS has turned out to be useful to Western security services doesn’t mean they created it. But it has become extremely useful, a sort of global kidney, drawing in and filtering out a pool of potentially troublesome young males. And all done far away, in the bowels of Syria. But only if places like Canada have enough cold-blooded sense to let this piece of luck keep doing its job. And that means only one thing: business class upgrades for every male under 25 with a record of jihadist rants and a one-way ticket to Istanbul

Not a good option. Good air raid shelters can usually protect from carpet bombing. You still have to put boots on the ground to root the enemy (who ever they are) out and carpet bombing provides them with heaps of cover plus it makes it hard going for your forces. In todays world it also leaves you open for war crimes allegations and possible prosecution.

If America wanted war, they’d be in there pulverising the Russian military in Ukraine right now. That they are still dithering about what to do (maybe more sanctions?) just proves that America is not really that into war. Especially with all the pretexts that Russia have given to date.

Stop focusing on 9/11 and just look at the actions of America, not what the conspiracy sites and Russia tell you.

No they wouldn’t because that would kick off World war 3 and in all probability a nuclear war. However Putin is pushing and pushing which is concerning with the British Defence Secretary stating:

He said there was a “real and present danger” that Russia could repeat the tactics used to destabilise Ukraine against Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. That could involve deploying irregular troops, cyberattacks and inflaming tensions with the Baltic states’ ethnic Russian minorities. He called Russian President Vladimir Putin “as great a threat to Europe as Islamic State”, he said: “We’ve got to be ready for both.” The incursion by the aircraft comes days after the Royal Navy intercepted a Russian warship near UK waters. In January two Bear bombers flew over the English Channel.

The three Baltic states are part of NATO so that does make any Russian actions against them more serious because it could be perceived as casus belli, meaning an act of war against the states who would then invoke the NATO Treaty.
