Kerr gets almost nine years for blackmail

1080 blackmailer Jeremy Kerr will spend eight years and six months behind bars after his blackmail attempts cost businesses and the Government $37 million. 

Good. That is a decent sentence that should act as a deterrent to others, and is appropriate punishment for this venal selfish man.

If he hadn’t pleaded guilty it looks like he would have got over ten years.
