Labour could only get three people to a pub in Petone. Speaks volumes.

  That’s part of Labour’s Big Cockup. They’re basically staffed by Greenie-type chardonnay swillers who don’t really want to stoop to dealing with anyone in white gumboots or blue overalls. Completely out of touch.

        ztev has really been putting in a lot of effort to help educate you lot, so I’ll try to help out a bit.
        
        Do you wonder why they’re always taking home cardboard boxes from the dumpster at work – for food!
        
        On pay day they are so happy because they can afford matches. They then tear up one of the boxes and make a fire and that means they can warm up the other cardboard box before eating!
        
        Such happy salt of the earth people!
        
        You’ve always got to look at the bright side though – at least it means nobody gets fat and they can’t afford sugar to rot their kids teeth….
        
        Nor can they afford spray paint to vandalise stuff, and the parents can’t afford to go out, so they live in these wonderful clean houses with no graffiti. They spend all their free time tending their gardens and being great attentive parents, helping their kids with homework and making sure they brush their teeth – no cavities in these families and the kids do so well at school!
        
        With all that time to spend with eachother and no booze or smokes or drug (can’t afford them) they make wonderful families – no family violence. On Saturday you’ll normally see the men helping out around the house, doing odd chores, happily doing the washing or ironing. Maybe they can’t afford much in the way of clothing, but they take pride in what they wear. There’s always a clean pressed shirt for Sunday!
        
        They can’t afford radios and boom-boxes, so they sing with beautiful voices.
        
        Wake up ztev.. you’re dreaming mate!

And Ginny realistically thinks she has a chance against Chris Bishop. I would bet $ that come 24 Spetember 2017 Ginny (who seems nice enough) will be getting ready to go back to her day job.

The photo I saw from this event looked like it has about a dozen people in it, having a beer after canvassing in Petone.
Perhaps DPF should post more often on the National Party – he might know a little bit more about them.

  Wellington is Lion Brown heartland, the main local brewery was Staples in Thorndon, part of NZ breweries, which was brewing till 1988
  Staples main beer brand was Red Label

they had Trevor and Annette in the eastern bay recently. Apparently polling had shown them that Annette went down well with punters. They didn’t say if polling had told them it wasn’t worth rolling Angry Andy out. i think they did have a pub session. perhaps its their new tactic – but who pays for the drinks?

They had a Facebook live stream of a meeting in Palmerston North yesterday which seemed to have a reasonable number in attendance but unfortunately (fortunately maybe) you could not hear one word Andrew Little said because the audio was terrible. Basically all the comments were complaining about not be able to hear even from people who were clearly Labour supporters. Despite this they made no attempt to fix the issue. They had the slogan “Building a better New Zealand” to which I replied trying building a better live stream first…..
