    True, but one step at a time. First: denuclearize. Second/third etc hopefully help Korea reunite and NK modernize. Fourth: prosecute Kim? Probably not. There has probably been a deal, and working with this creep is the only way to make peace with NK and open up.
    
    Consider that we even sell food to Saudi Arabia, which doesn’t even represent the threat the NK does. I began listing that country’s crimes, but come on, you know what they do.

  Trump is the Nobel committee’s worst nightmare, in 18 months he achieved more in the Korean peninsula than Clinton and Obama did in 16 years.
  
  The Nobel committee will have weighing up failed EU leaders to reward them for the muslim invasion of Europe, and now they have a conundrum – a paradigm changing leader who appears to have ended the need for the DMZ?
  
  But of course, the alt-Left, virtue-signallers on the N committee have got problems of their own with (like all libtards) sexual abuse problems aplenty to cover-up.
  
  And they can hardly reach out and give a nomination to big-charity for white saviour racism in third world countries, with the revelations this year that all the heroes of the UN aid agencies are involved so they can indulge in aid-sex tourism or child abuse with food-for-sex scandals all over the place.
  
  I suspect that the Nobel committee will resort to not awarding the Peace prize this year at all rather than give it to Trump.

  Firstly, Kelvin did not score big hits against National in Corrections. The PR arm of the Labour party (ie the MSM) scored the hits with a disgraceful and dishonest fake news campaign.
  
  Secondly, Kelvin was never a star. He was always a school principal (a position that is characterised by weak grown-ups who seek refuge in pseudo-leadership positions in a context dominated by humans much shorter and much younger than you, because principals would never rise to such giddy heights or have such absolute power in any other work context).
  
  Kelvin was always politically unimaginative and uninspiring in his performances. Without a fascist Corrections union playing Dirty Politics to avoid the inevitable loss of power that external competition would bring to their monopoly in prisons – Kelvin was nothing.
  
  Kelvin is a walking talking example of how evil the racism of diversity is, he is in his role for no other reason other than virtue-signalling tokenism. And he is now suffering full-on anxiety attacks because he just doesn’t have the goods. Kelvin’s role should have been a mediocre performing bank-bencher as befits his skills.
  
  But the evil of diversity politics means that Labour have to have a native in a co-penis role. And the poor bastard is forced into positions that are way beyond his capabilities. He illustrates perfectly how awful diversity policies are for all concerned.
  
  His self-confidence has utterly gone, he’s going to need years of counselling or medication to get on top of this. He’s trapped by the party now and they are going to continue to sit by and watch him self-destruct. There is no way out for him.
  
  He should have our sympathy. The evil of identity politics broke Kelvin.

In this insane world of Globalism where anyone can be from anywhere (I’ve actually heard people argue the equivalent of a mouse being born in a stable is somehow a horse), I’m supporting countries in the World Cup where the Soccer team represents the ancient nation of people whose banner it flies under.

I am supporting the South Korea’s, Nigeria’s etc. of this world as opposed the the mystery meats of France, England and Germany where the players are from all parts of Africa and Arabia + nation itself.

As I’m European, Croatia and Iceland will be my ethnostates of choice for the next month.

        Seems like he’s OK with too many of The Blacks in the teams. He’s not OK with The Blacks who get beyond their station and have the impertinence to travel to teams somewhere else in the world. Or, perhaps, he’s OK with The Blacks but not OK with The Jews who are controlling The World Cups and rounding up all The Blacks who play soccer football and pilling them into massive Jewish shipping containers and dropping them in non Jewish European (Turkish, Ukrainian, Viking) neighbourhoods to kick balls into innocent (Turkish, Ukrainian, Viking) people.

        Only partly true. Black athletes don’t dominate the men’s high jump or pole vault, but they have won nearly all of the last nine Olympic gold medals for the men’s long jump.
        
        Physical differences in athletes are interesting, such as the West African-East African split which gives different strengths in sprinting v. distance running.
        
        Whites are way ahead in shooting and, as you might expect given relative home climates, in the winter sports.
        
        Physical differences due to evolution in different environments.

My 98 year old Gran has just been diagnosed with lung cancer and has been given only a few more weeks to live. Pity is that I have an extended overseas holiday booked for next month and I would be personally miffed if my holiday was derailed if she lingered on for a few extra weeks. Thinking of suggesting to her and her doctor that she is administered a few extra doses of morphine to hurry the inevitable along. That way I wouldn’t be inconvenienced. And she’ll be going to meet her maker pretty soon in any case. In this case just a week or two sooner. Win/win really.

It would be her choice, of course. I’m sure David Seymour would see it my way.

  Make sure the hospice staff know her views (it true of course) that poor old Gran wants to die in dignity and not drowning in her lungs and shitting the bed and make sure there is no attended vigil at her bedside 24/7 – I understand the hospice people are generally very special, caring, loving operators who are well-aligned with the thinking in Seymour’s bill.
  
  The family needs to make it easy for the staff to end suffering and misery.
  
  If there’s one thing above all else that Seymour’s bill will do is that it will ease the burden on the palliative/terminal care sector of the medical profession – those folks are angels come down to Earth imho.

    Yup, we can keep people alive far too easily these days – way past any serving any purpose for anyone.
    
    The night my gran died I was going to be sleeping over at her house, but I’d been visiting my girlfriend into the wee hours and decided to sleep over there rather than wake old gran up.
    
    She apparently had a stroke that night and died. If I had been there I might have managed to keep her alive – perhaps.
    
    Good thing I wasn’t there. She was very active and would have absolutely hated being in a wheel chair etc.
    
    She played bowls in the morning, played bridge in the afternoon, then died that night. No drawn out care etc. That’s the way to go.

  I’d take the chance to say farewell while she is still conscious and able to chat.
  
  My last memory of my father who was dying of lung cancer is that he was too tired to follow a Sunday soccer game on the telly (something he had watched religiously for decades).
  As he kissed me and my baby goodbye, large spittles of blood started gurgling out of his mouth.

    I’d like to see an orange card added, for offences such as last night. The player leaves the field, but can be replaced after 15 minutes. That way it would be a stronger sanction than a yellow card, but not a game-killer. The red card would be reserved for serious, violent offences such as kicking. In addition, if a player gets a second yellow card, it becomes and orange card, not a red one.

      Why should people expect to own a house? Capital takes work and savings. A 3x price/income ratio might be temporarily achievable where there is a much larger population, much more flat land, low infrastructure costs and low interest rates.
      
      Your recipe presupposes that govt owns or controls all. Effectively govt provides the initial capital and the balance is financed at subsidised interest rates. Everyone would like a deal like that where the govt takes the development risks and the new owners acquire capital gains arising out govt subsidised leverage.
      
      That’s how we came to the accommodation supplement to iron out the inequities between those in subsidised rental housing and those otherwise renting or paying off a mortgage.
      
      When everyone lines up for state accommodation the govt is being too generous.

    Horst Seehofer always pulls this stunt like clockwork around the time of Bavarian elections.
    
    He won’t dissolve the government.
    
    But when he makes gestures to security and then repudiates those gestures the second after the election, I’m expecting the AfD to rise about 5 points.
    
    Germany is going to be subject to reconquista, and the feminists and the Greens will be driven into the streets to rave and beg for coins in a tin cup.
    
    It just won’t be because of Ernst Seehofer dissolving the government.

This is going to be very interesting. How will NZF vote? The way they ask for submissions is ass about face. They should put draft legislation forward as was the case on the euthanasia bill and then ask for submissions.

Simon Bridges should be careful on this proposed law. The Greens will all support it. Labour may allow a few Catholics to vote against it. If NZF or nearly all NZF MPs vote against the bill and National allows a free vote it could pass.

This could help NZF. This sort of issue should go to a binding referendum after the bill is in its final form.

I think attacking Jacinda as being an incompetent PM is fair enough. The baby, in my opinion, is off limits. I know I have made barbed comments about virgins and three wise men, but these are mostly in jest and directed at Jacinda and Gayford ( who is NOT off limits). No person who wishes to claim to have a heart would want to wish a mother and child ill at this time. I wish her well as a mother and I hope the baby is healthy and happy. Being a parent is a wonderful experience no matter what your political beliefs. I do believe, that for her sake and the health of the baby, she should resign as PM. I don’t think you can do both effectively.

        Dubbing Masterton the “best town on Earth” has raised a few eyebrows, but it’s also apparently helped to sell $15 million worth of property.
        
        On the face of it, similarly sized places such as Queenstown, Byron Bay in Australia, or St Ives in England, might seem to have more obvious attractions, but Masterton District Council marketing manager Sam Rossiter-Stead is adamant Masterton deserves the title of planetary top town.
        
        “We know it’s put a smile on a few people’s faces, but a lot of people are now talking about Masterton, and most of them in a positive way.”

        Martinborough: Chocka with wankers, most of them Wellingtonians. Only saved by its stony soil which suited grapes which acted as a lodestone to the wankeratti.
        
        Greytown: Wankers everywhere! Saved by its heritage buildings, only preserved because for decades the low value of the land under them made demolition pointless.
        
        Carterton: Working class but hey…..they’ve got to live somewhere.
        
        Masterton: Don’t believe the polyannas. It’s fucked!

“Submit against Ngati Porou coastal bill
For those following the long-running shambles to do with tribal claims for the coast, Friday is the deadline for submissions on the Nga Rohe Moana o Nga Hapu o Ngati Porou Bill (No. 2), which gives effect to a deed of agreement between Ngati Porou and the Crown for around 200 km of the East Coast coastline north of Gisborne.

Ngati Porou had reached an agreement on the coastal area in 2008 under Labour’s Foreshore and Seabed Act 2004, but that Act was replaced by National’s Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011, and Ngati Porou did not lodge a claim under that Act within the time period despite having six years to do so.

Until seven years ago, the whole coastal marine area, from the mean high-water springs mark out 12 nautical miles, was vested in the Crown on behalf of all New Zealanders, with everyone having free access.

But under the 2011 Act, those seeking recognition of protected customary rights or customary marine title were enabled to make a claim for that area subject to providing evidence that they had used the area continuously and ‘exclusively’ since 1840 and that they owned the land bordering their claim. This either had to be proven in the High Court or negotiated with the Minister.

Photos of stage coaches driving along the beaches, in the sea, and on tracks around promontories, show that the coast along the area claimed by Ngati Porou was the main path for walkers and coaches from 1840 until the Second World War. Use of the area by travellers disprove claims of exclusive use and should disqualify the Ngati Porou claim for that coastal area.

It appears that Labour’s Michael Cullen negotiated a deal with Ngati Porou and National renegotiated that deal recognising new privileges, even though the validity of Ngati Porou’s claim had never been verified and tested in the High Court.

This bill at least should be opposed on the basis that everyone else had six years in which to lodge their claim – plenty of time for Ngati Porou to comply. A two-year extension is unacceptable, especially as it will delay all other claims that overlap the area.”
