How many MPs in each generation

People may be interested in how many MPs are in each age “generation”. They are:

  • Silent Generation (1928 to 1945): 1
  • Baby Boomers (1946 to 1964): 29
  • Generation X (1965 to 1980): 72
  • Millennials/Gen Y (1981 to 1996: 18

So Generation X is by far the most common generation in Parliament.
