So, Eli Rubashkyn, who assaulted Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull (Posie Parker) and who was all bravado after the event saying she would, do it again, face up to the consequences and had numerous people ready to financially support her in any legal action, has run off to Australia.
Saying she feels unsafe in NZ and is getting hateful messages on-line so has no intention of returning to answer Police questions on the matter of her assault on Ms Keen-Minshull.
This is typical of a self-promoting activist; all talk in a bunch but absolutely gutless when having to front reality. The police should issue a warrant for her arrest and seek Australian authorities help in getting her sent back.

      It must be an exceedingly difficult condition to deal with socially and intrapersonally.

        Volkmar Sigusch was born in 1940 and became a renowned sexologist and physician who played a big role in the 1960s sexual revolution. He was the director of the Institute for Sexual Science at the clinic of Goethe University in Frankfurt. He was a writer and editor for cultural magazines that focused on sex and psychology. @heyitsjuderose called him a “pedo sympathizer” in her video and pointed out that he’s the first person on record to coin the term cisgender “as an antonym to transgender.” The term first came up in a peer-reviewed paper called “The Neosexual Revolution.” Sigusch is also “credited as some kind of pioneer for the LGBTQ movement” as well as the sexual revolution in general.

        It’s curious that Sigusch would refer to Woody Allen to define good sex, when he could have said literally anything else. In that same interview, Sigusch was asked what the biggest taboo is in sexuality today.         In my terminology, a woman who is happy being a woman would be a sheila.

    It’s a completely meaningless term – everybody in the entire world is cisgender.
    
    The term describes somebody who is still the same gender as they were when they were born, which is all of us. Nobody in history has been able to successfully change their gender, and nobody ever will.

        Anyone who called it that would be 100% wrong. There are an infinitesimally small number of people born intersex but their gender status does not change. They will still typically have primary sex characteristics of one of the two possible genders, as happened in the case of Schinegger.
        
        “Before the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, a medical examination revealed that Schinegger was genetically male. Schinegger, whose gender had not been correctly identified for years due to inward growing genitals, a so-called pseudohermaphroditism, decided to have surgery and change his first name from Erika to Erik.”
        
        Realising after some time that you’ve been a male your entire life is not the same as changing your gender, which cannot be done.

    You don’t need a name for being a woman or a man. It is what you are.
    
    By saying you are cis normalises the ideology that you could be a different gender to your body. And that your body and gender aren’t linked. They are. You literally are a woman because of your body. Can you be a masculine woman, or a feminine man …sure. But does being a masculine woman make you a man. Does wearing different clothes or adding silicone breasts and taking hormones change you into a woman.
    
    I don’t believe it does. It’s transhumanism.
    
    I personally believe the correct word is Woman or Man. And if you want to recreate yourself as something else then that is the action that needs a different description.
    
    I wouldn’t call myself a cis-human because this person is a trans-species.

  So i estimate that what this really means is that $100million will go to consultants / Labour members to do Sweet FA over the next 5 years except collect a cheque and then the $2 billion cost will actually be $10 billion and will only be a 1 lane tunnel or worse

The violent assault on Posie Parker highlights to many the violent nature of the trans movement.

Very sadly we have a Christian school in Nashville where a former pupil, a woman identifying as a man, murdered 6 people in a mass shooting.
A bit of research finds other instances of mass murder by trans people in the United States –

“In less than five years, we’ve had four people who identify as transsexual committing a mass shooting.

In November of 2018, Snochia Moseley, a man who identified as a woman, wounded three and killed three after opening fire at his place of employment in Aberdeen, Maryland.

In May of 2019, a Colorado woman who identified as male shot up a school, killing one and wounding eight.

In November of 2022, a Colorado man who shot up a gay nightclub, killing five and wounding 18, was identified as transsexual.”

  For quite a while now I’ve been reading foreign, non Anglo, news. Most sites allow commenting and it is quite interesting to read. In a lot of their comments we are often painted as sick, devious, evil, godless perverts. We can sit here and try and justify our behavior all we like but we will never get them to buy into and accept this way of life. The west is fast turning into a sad joke to the rest of the world. Our reputation is going down the drain and the rest of the non Anglo world has no desire to follow us.

    Pavel – it will sound like US bashing, it isn’t, it’s an observation.
    Since not long after WW2 when the US was rightly lauded for the defence of democracy and freedom from oppression and looked up to as a great example to the rest of the world, something changed.
    
    The overthrow of Mossadeq in Iraq in 1953 was the first of countless interventions in countless countries, which were justifiable is a big topic of debate. Needless to say, many of the countries intervened in aren’t happy re the outcomes and can you blame them?
    
    The collective “west” is seen through the same lens. Seen as “imperialists”. The others are moving on and forming blocs to enable transition. The US dollar is being dropped in many places. It looks like even the Saudis are joining with the BRICS.
    
    The whole idea of the “rules based international order” is a fake construct from the US to justify much that is unjustifiable.
    One small example, the US military occupying a third of Syria illegally and stealing their oil as Trump stated publicly. Love him or hate him, he says what’s on his mind.
    Not a word uttered in our media about this illegal invasion but obsession with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
    It’s fairly obvious why the rest of the world perceive us this way.
    Downtick away. Or argue what I’ve said is wrong. Fill your boots.

      So your opinion ain’t exactly going out on a limb. You won’t get tomato juice poured all over you or be punched in the face by a big bloke in dress.
      
      The United States is the greatest civilisation this planet has ever seen. Mistakes aplenty? You bet.
      
      Perhaps you like the British as the top dog. Well, they indulged in several centuries of genocide, slave trading and generally turning up on someone else’s beach and saying, bugger off, this is ours now. But they also brought the rule of law, basic rights and representative government to vast swathes of the world.
      
      If you want perfection in a major power you’re going to be sadly disappointed.

        thirteenstars – you’ve done the predictable, assume I’m bashing the US somehow. No, read it again. It’s all observation in response to what Pavel said. It’s all verifiable. I stated facts. If I missed something or misrepresented something point it out.
        
        As for the US being “the greatest civilisation this planet has ever seen” – that’s an extremely debatable comment. What are their achievements versus those of say the Roman Empire?
        
        Yes, the US is responsible for much good since they sat down and wrote their incredible Constitution. Right up until the assassination of Kennedy I believe they were still a magnificent example of how a system should run. A lot has gone wrong since then, I put much of it down to the rise of the corporation which seem to be able to exert so much “influence” on government policy.
        
        I don’t have any wish to live under Chinese rule. Actually I don’t want to live under any rule, I want to live in a free and democratic society, and I fear we’re rapidly having ours in the west eroded from underneath us. The last 3 years in NZ were an eye opener into how democracy can rapidly be eroded.
        
        I don’t care for myself, I’m at the tail end of my life. I care for our collective kids and grandkids.
        
        As for “lots of worse cases out there” – I agree, a bit like the choice of political party in NZ, neither is appealing but we have to have one.
        Lesser of two evils and all that? I’d prefer if we could just drop the “evil” bit and get on with it.

        No ones asking for perfection. A little less uncritical swallowing of American propaganda would lead to a likely more accurate understanding of the world. The Ukraine war for instance is going pretty much as Russia would have expected it to. They are happy holding their line and haven’t seen the need to escalate. What exactly are they achieving? Not much in Ukraine but look at what else has happened. The destruction of Nord stream was more interesting geopolitically than the Ukraine war itself has been. Energy flows into Asia. Strengthening of allegiances outside of the western bloc. The world has changed quickly in the last few years. Ukraine has been polarising, much more so than western media will admit, and that may be the entire point of the war.

        I referred to the strain of anti-Americanism that has long existed in this country as a reason you might not get a lot of downticks.
        
        And this country could do a lot worse than emulate the US in terms of its respect for vigorous free speech, and its strong focus on localism in politics which gives Americans far more control over the policies that directly affect them.
        
        And the way in which this country is implementing at every turn an apartheid system where Maori voices have more weight than non-Maori voices, at every level of central and local government, would not get past the first challenge to it in the most lowly court in the US.
        
        You want a strong democracy with a vigorous debate, then go to the US, or fight for it in this country because you’re about to lose it. On balance, the US is doing just fine. We are not.

      I watched “Waco” the other day. One of the spectators caught on camera was Timothy McVeigh who became so wound up at the FBI he bombed the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, killing an indiscriminate number of people.
      He didn’t do it because of his sexual orientation. He hated government authourity. From what I read most of these school shooters hate the school, including this latest one.

    Brenda Spencer 1979, Boom Town Rats wrote a song about it called I don’t like Mondays, she did it because she didnt like Monday’s.

  Previously I’d thought that men who genuinely believe themselves to be women, and take active steps to make their actual bodies and appearance match that internal perception, are sadly deluded, but harmless and to be treated with kindness and civility.
  
  My main concern was with the possibility of men with bad intentions getting a free pass into women’s spaces, where women are likely to be at best made uncomfortable and embarrassed by their presence, simply by saying “I’m a woman”. It’s hardly contentious to observe that sometimes men lie in order to get what they want from women who don’t want to give it to them.
  
  That remains a concern, and as far as I’ve seen no attempt at all has been made (except in this very forum by PaulL) to even acknowledge the risk, let alone consider how it might be addressed.
  
  As a result of the Auckland event, though, however, I’m now reassessing the first viewpoint as well. That’s what the activists’ thuggery has achieved.

  One of the questions in the application is along the lines of “are you planning on leaving NZ any time soon?
  Which presumably means “are you just applying for NZ citizenship so you can go live in Australia.

We are talking about corruption with Nash, I think a lot have people have missed a major problem with the police commissioner. I think he should be gone too.

When the story came out about Nash ‘talking’ to him about sentences he defended Nash saying ‘just mates letting off steam’. Now that Nash is toast he speaks up and says ‘oh yeah there may have been other times he called me too’. Sorry, your minister of police and you purposely withheld information to protect a friend. He should be gone by lunch, totally inappropriate for someone supposed to be enforcing the law.

Indeed, we never had a chance at a rational response and in NZ, we still don’t. No questioning of the covid response is permitted in the media. No questioning of the covid response is permitted in our parliament. Not one MP apparently has a different view to the official narrative that we were bombarded with in the last 3 years.
Most countries around the globe now at least are starting to recognise that if nothing else, mistakes were made, that the “vaccines” don’t work as promised and that all the interventions caused more harm than good. Only a couple of exceptions, NZ and China…….

Perhaps the advertisers on the station who had such a beef with the above named being on air, will now provide financial support to the now jobless staff.       I did Talkback on Radio Live before it became MagicTalk and I was a political commentator on MagicTalk as well as their host of the 2020 Election Night coverage (where we called the election first), until I was culled when it mutated into the deeply flawed Today FM.
      
      Today Mediaworks finally killed Today FM, after bleeding $9million into the branding and after buying all their credibility capital! Sources tell The Daily Blog the decision to kill off Today FM has been made and discussed weeks ago.
      
      The madness of the level of self inflicted fuckwittery here is unequalled in NZ Broadcasting.
      
      I pointed all of this out to Mediaworks Management when they first did this.
      
      Watching the exact thing happen that I warned them about is glorious.
      
      If I had a dollar for every dumb middle management fuckwit who has no idea of how to run political talkback, I’d have enough to start my own station!
      
      What is so insane about all of this, is that it could have worked, but the Mediaworks Management refused to listen.

It involves those tired standbys – “climate change”, emissions, models (ha!) and the usual leaps of logic so great that Bob Beamon would be proud of the distance covered.

He didn’t say what the remedy to this computer-modelled Armageddon was, but we can be fairly certain it involves more tax and fewer cows. Yeah, right.

Whether she was told or not, deniability is the key to her “transparency” and as Nash had some use, being “officially” unaware would have been very advantageous.
They are probably the most incompetent government I can ever recall so it is inevitable that lies and deceipt are used to cover up misdeeds that could embarrass them even nore than their tragic performance as a government.

    Regardless of the ethics of some of Today FM’s presenters the fact remains MediaWorks has again handled this both appallingly and disgracefully (like they did when they killed of MagicTalk because of their fear of the woke Twitter brigade).
    
    For MediaWorks to kill off the station in this manner (mid broadcast) is another blow to their reputation – who on earth will trust them now to seek employment with them?
    
    MediaWorks now has form – they killed off Radio Live, MagicTalk and now woke Today FM.
    
    One wonders then when former Turkey CEO Cam Wallace left he knew MediaWorks’ financial position may be rather precarious? Just saying that after hearing the 2pm news on ZB where they suggested the looming recession is hurting the MSM?

There has been a general clamour for a second habour crossing for many years.
Some government or other was always going to give it the green light.
The problems are only now beginning. For a start who came up with the guesstimate budget number?
Construction drawings haven’t even been started.
Have engineers been sorted out to lead the project?
Somewhere down the track tenders will be called and being underground there will be plenty of provisional figures in there to cover unforeseen ground conditions.
Furthermore
Systems which are state of the art now will be overtaken by better gear, adding cost to the project.
Regulations change.
For example an accident in a tunnel elsewhere might show the safety systems in the Auckland tunnel need upgrading, after they’ve been installed.

    These days there’s no way a motorway could be built straight through the Bolton St Cemetery. Even at the the time destroying the oldest pakeha cemetery was a disgrace.
    The resultant motorway is a lemon.
    The Aurora Tce and Bolton St overbridges were so difficult to design because of the gradient I heard the design cost more than the construction.

Passion and trees aren’t going to solve climate change: Jacqueline Rowarth.
Her article included some interesting information on regenerative farming.
The government has invested over $57 million so far exploring the approach for NZ farming (which aligns with a transitional fund proposed by climate strikers and Greenpeace.)
Although GHG emissions have decreased per hectare under regenerative farming in NZ, they have generally increased or stayed the same per kg of product (and the quantity of product per hectare has decreased.)
Our producers are moving into a regime of rewarding lowest impact milk and meat.
Regenerative approaches look and sound good, but NZ farmers have not degenerated their soils – they haven’t been overgrazed for decades or been subject to monoculture cropping.

Much of the benefit of regenerative farming has been where land is subjected to desertification risk, or has had decades of large-scale single crop farming without rest rotations.

    The good thing about Garner on radio is that on his show he allowed callers to phone in quite regularly, allowing Garner to keep-in-check any of those other typical msm divergences on issues that didn’t resonate with the majority of people i.e. everyday NZers.
    
    If only Mediaworks were smart enough to keep MagicTalk with Peter Williams, Sean Plunket and brought in Duncan Garner (when Ryan Bridge replaced Garner on the AM Show), it would have been a great lineup. Sadly not to be and podcasts are now the way to go.

I am older than 60, making me a useless dinosaur who doesn’t understand Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat.

I think, reason, and doubt most of what the ‘mainstream’ media tells me, making me a Right-wing conspiracy nut.

I am proud of my heritage, making me a xenophobe.

I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair reward according to each individual’s merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.

I believe our system guarantees freedom of effort, not freedom of outcome or subsidies, which must make me a borderline sociopath.

I believe in the defense and protection of my nation for and by all citizens, now making me a militant.

I am proud of our flag, what it stands for and the many who died to let it fly, so I stand during our National Anthem – so I must be a radical.

Funny – it all took place over the last decade!

If all this nonsense wasn’t enough to deal with, now I don’t even know which toilet to use . . . and these days I’ve got to go more frequently so please stand clear !

If National / ACT take the humble CAKE’s advice, and privatise Red Radio and State Television, what will happen to their extreme left wing woke presenters?

I have the feeling that quite a few of them (Tova, I’m looking at you) may need to return to the hospitality industry. Of course, I wouldn’t want to be served my pint in a place collaborating with far left extremists, so I’ll avoid any establishment that she works in.

In the end, it is about the freedom to choose. In normal circumstances, I wouldn’t celebrate people losing their jobs. In this case, it is different.

CAKE had no choice but to subsidise them – my taxes were used to fund these clowns. They had the arrogance and entitlement to use my money to promote extreme left wing ideology. It is simply outrageous.

I will be extremely joyful if all other State media is privatised, and these extreme left wingers and woke socialists get the same treatment.

My tax money might be gone – stolen by these extremist troughers – but perhaps I will get the last laugh?

So MediaWorks killed off Today FM.

On ZB’s 2pm news they mentioned how this may be due to the recession …

Oh is that the upcoming recession that RBNZ Governor saying publicly that he is engineering?

Is that the same upcoming recession that the Labour Govt of Jacinda Ardern and now Chris Hipkins, has supported Finance Minister Grant Robertson to spend/waste literally tens of billions of $$$ (if not hundreds of billions by now) on “nice to haves” and tokenism, of which this govt over expenditure has fueled inflation (internal factors in play here) which is enabling this recession?

It’s a tragedy that MediaWorks decided the format of Today FM will be “woke” and instead of holding the Labour Govt to account the radio station held the “non-woke” to account like National or ACT or “cis white men” or people wanting to preserve the status quo when it came to “co-governance”.

Pity MediaWorks didn’t continue with and strengthen MagicTalk (which used to run on the smell of an oily rag cost wise and staffing wise in comparison to Today FM), who were in 2019/2020/2021 doing an excellent job of holding Labour to account.

Imagine if MagicTalk, with their original hosts retained (but now also joined by a fraction of Today FM’s funding to bring in actual reporters and other quality hosts) were still around, they would have been thrashing the Labour Govt of 2022 and 2023 by holding them to account … eg like about their/RBNZ planned recession (that other MSM meekly accepted barely no questions asked)!

The person who tipped tomato juice over anti-trans activist Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull – also known as Posie Parker – has been charged with common assault.

A police spokesperson said a person has been summoned to appear in the Auckland District Court.

“As the matter is before the Court no further comment will be made at this time,” the spokesperson said.

Up to 1900 Corrections staff who work in the community will go on strike next month after negotiations broke down between the Public Service Association (PSA) and the Department of Corrections.

The workers will walk away from their roles from 2-4pm on April 13, 20, and 27, after rejecting Corrections’ latest offer for a new staff pay rate.

As mentioned early on in this TERF Talk (cute name) interview with one of the NZ Let Women Speak people, Terri, one of Posie Parker’s funders that brought her here was a Maori organisation, Mana Wahine Korero.

And they would be helping a white supremacist and Nazi, would they?

Same with the Australian Jewish Council calling the Nazis that showed up near (not at, mind you) Parker’s Aussie event “gatecrashing opportunists”. Again, a Jewish organisation is sticking up for a Nazi, are they?

The women being interviewed there is a lesbian, supporting Parker, again, all you need to know.

The trans-activists hate men, women, lesbians, gays, the whole gamut. And why? Simply because to legitimise the idea of gender fluidity they have to destroy everyone else who is gender specific, which includes lesbians and gays.

Store this stuff away, folks. Write it down, save the links. That’s how the forces of freedom win, by bringing up these inconvenient facts.

An announcement has gone out on Today FM, saying the station has closed.

In a voiced message, it said Today FM will be replaced by a new station on the same frequency in April.

The talkback station is now only playing music.

A lawyer for a serial sex offender is now going to the Supreme Court to argue the offenders name should be suppressed permanently. The man was sentenced on rape, unlawful sexual connection and indecent assault charges and has now pleaded guilty to breaking his home detention conditions. There were 5 victims.

Apparently, the High Court placed ““insufficient weight” … on the hardship associated with social media” and “did not properly consider the risk to his mental health and … the impact of publication [which] includes him being unable to attend university.”

One wonders what weight he placed on the risk to his victims’ mental health before deciding to assault them.

It seems his lawyer thinks that “Where publishing a young person’s identity only serves to name and shame an offender and subject them to the risk of violence and exclusion from society, this is not fairly categorised as open justice.”

Perhaps being named and shamed may be seen as a reasonable response to assaulting five people.

  Some customers posted to social media this afternoon saying the issue has been ongoing since last night.
  
  In a post on Facebook, the phone company said they are aware of the issue and are urgently working to identify the cause.
  
  It explained customers could still make calls over Wi-Fi and data using apps such as WhatsApp, and that texts could still be sent and received.
  
  “We know how important it is for our customers to be connected so we apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience,” the post read.
  
  The post to Facebook quickly amassed over 200 comments in just 20 minutes, many of which were disgruntled customers sharing their frustrations.
  
  “What about customers that don’t have Internet who are 86 and live alone and need a phone this is crazy,” one person wrote.
  
  “Great when I’m trying to run a business … I bet I still get a full payment bill next month though,” another said.
