Labour selects candidate who came 9th for a local trust!

The Herald reports:

Tāmati Coffey has been selected to replace Kiri Allan as Labour’s candidate in the East Coast electorate.

This is great news.

Less than a year ago he came just 9th out of 16 in an election for the Rotorua Trust.
