Maybe NZTA will now focus on helping motorists, not hindering them

The Herald reports:

Paul Reynolds, the former chairman of Waka Kotahi the NZ Transport Agency, has resigned from the board.

Reynolds had been on the board only since February.

Cassandra Cowley has been appointed acting chairwoman.

, also appointed to the board by the former , has also resigned. Both names have gone from the Waka Kotahi website.

NZTA badly needs a change of direction,. It needs directors see their job as being how to help people to their destinations using their preferred travel mode.
