Musk vs Trump

Politico reports:

Elon Musk declared the launch of his new political party on Saturday, a project he has repeatedly floated in the weeks since his explosive breakup with President Donald Trump — but provided no details as to how he planned to jump through the hoops necessary to establish a viable alternative.

Musk certainly has the money to finance a new party, and his 221 million followers on X gives him the ability to reach a huge number of people. But despite that I don’t see it likely to come to much, as you actually also need a lot of work to get candidates and policies etc.
