The lack of self awareness!

This is almost beyond belief. We have a Green MP saying:

“Shoplifting is the most common charge for women. It’s not violence, it’s crimes of dishonesty and poverty. I can tell you that not one woman shoplifts because it’s fun, because they get a thrill of it. It is because they are desperate”

How stupid do you have to be to say that, after a Green MP on a $200,000 remuneration package gets charged and convicted of shoplifting massively expensive designer items?
