Labour’s Emergency Department record

The Post reports:

Labour has unveiled a fresh batch of policies promising to fix overcrowding at emergency departments, with more nurses, faster access to hospital beds and care before patients reach crisis point.

It is useful to compare rhetoric to record.

Under the Key/English Government between 90% and 95% of people at ED were dealt with in under six hours.

Labour’s record speaks for itself. It was a total disaster for emergency departments. Before they took office only 8% of ED patients waited more than six hours. When they left office it was 33%, so four times as many patients were waiting over six hours.

Why would you want to give them a second chance?
