I received the following e-mail from Candace Owens:

I hope you will actually report on the dropping of my case and also correct your previous inaccurate info on what they sued me for (it was not for saying Brigette was a man)

I don’t agree with the framing of what was decided. Politico reports:

A Delaware state judge ruled Tuesday that French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, may not sue far-right commentator Candace Owens personally for defamation — but they may continue their case against the podcaster’s businesses.

It certainly is a useful win for Owens that she is personally not liable, but the substantive case will proceed against her business.
