Electoral Finance Bill timeline

Here’s the likely timeline for the Electoral Finance Bill:

Thu 15 Nov – Select Committee signs off report

Fri 16 Nov – Select Committee report tabled

Thu 22 Nov – 2nd reading of Electoral Finance Bill – probably from 3 pm to 5 pm

Tue 4 Dec – Committee of the Whole stage begins probably at 3 pm.  Unlikely to finish that day and as Wed 5 Dec is a private member’s day, probably conclude Thu 6 Dec

Tue 11 Dec – 3rd reading of Electoral Finance Bill on what is currently the final scheduled day for Parliament to sit before Christmas – probably from 3 pm to 5 pm

Once the bill is reported back I will do an analysis of any changes.
