The US candidates finally debate the big issue

Hillary Clinton, John McCain and Barack Obama finally debate the big issue in the United States – who will be WWE King of the Ring. Great fun – I thought Hillary did best. Of course in NZ we had Raging Bill English actually get into the ring!

    I see CNN is reporting the race in pennsylvania as too close to call. Hillary needed a big win here. It doesn’t look like she will get it, and this should raise pressure on her to step aside.

    I have been looking forward to Obama taking on McCain, and it would be good to have for the first time in 20 years, a president who is not a Clinton or a Bush.

    CNN and Fox are calling it for Hillary.

    Hillary = 54%

    Clear win in the making.

    Interesting all three referenced The Rock… Obama did it best I think, with “Do you smell what Barack is cooking?”. But McCain went all the way back to Hulkamania – I’d have thought his handlers would have ensured he didn’t say anything that would emphasise his age.

    Interesting you thought Hillary did best, DPF. I thought she looked about as natural and comfortable as… oh, say, Helen Clark at a rugby league game.

    Any margin less than 10% is a loss for Clinton. Every %point under the bigger the loss. (Thats in the long game picture)

    See the REAL Hillary vs Obama wrestling match HERE! Is not much of a fight, just the warmup.
    I think I saw more footage of the fight on TV but I can’t find it.

    Come on DPF
    McCain was way better
    He tailored his message to the target audience and kept it relevant
    Obama was pathetic, same old same old

    From an email received from a very good subscription service:

    “the Democrats don’t run against John McCain or against the ruling party that has given us this President, the biggest lightweight and most unpopular of anybody’s lifetime. The Democrats don’t run against record disapproval ratings for a Republican President and record foreclosures and record oil and gas prices. They don’t run to help people struggling to keep their cars on the road and a roof over their families’ heads. They continue to run against each other. The campaign is about the campaign.”

    Odd, isn’t it?
