Where in the world is Shane Jones
August 17th, 2012 at 2:49 pm by David FarrarWhere in the world is Shane Jones, and how long has he been there?
Whale thinks he is looking for jobs in the US. When was he last sighted in Parliament?
Nothing wrong with being overseas for a bit. All MPs do it. But, that depends on how long it is for and whether or not you have the permission of your party whips to be overseas.
[DPF: False alarm. He was in the House yesterday]

Once upon a time MPs represented constituents and were busy full-time looking after them. Pffff, silly ol me.

I would check hotel rooms around Auckland.

You did cover an article earlier that mentioned he was playing rugby tomorrow, there’s a starting point
Vote:August 17th, 2012 at 2:45 pm
Does he have a kid involved in playing sports?

False alarm? Maybe calls for simple apology.

Check out the iPredict stock on Jones resigning. It’s gone bonkers today…

I notice Whale is not so good with factual accuracy.

Block your ears/eyes those with John Key derangement syndrome. Involves humour
A week or so ago while driving from Mt Maunganui to Auckland I tuned into a radio station no idea which one – The DJ asked John Key 15 or so quickfire questions that he assured everyone, John Key did not know what the questions were before being asked
One of those questions was “Who from the oppostiotion would you most like to have dinner with and why?
John Key – “hmmm Shane Jones, then perhaps we could catch a movie afterwards”

Who wouldn’t want to have dinner with Shane Jones?

16 Taranaki St Wellington with Winnie discussing a menu and possibly a party change. Might even see the member for West Coast Tasman there also?

Quite so Southtop – I witnessed it with my own eyes and my iPhone a few short months ago. I certainly didn’t expect to see Peters at the Green Parrot during the sitting hours of the House, but he’s a list MP with no electorate to be accountable to, so thanks for nothing MMP
And Hamnida (3.17pm) – Maybe it’s you that’s inaccurate. Why has the “Shane Jones to announce resignation from Parliament before Tuesday 1 March 2013″ iPredict stock suddenly gone from $0.20 this morning to $0.73 this afternoon? Is an unfavourable report from the Auditor-General about to be released? Is Jones off to lead NZ First in 2014? Has he had a gutsful of Shearer and co?

Whale said “has been in the USA”. Not IS in the USA.

Man you Neolibs are full of it.
Jones may quit parliament and enter a private sector role in the near future. This is no conspiracy, remember your own man Simon Power.
There will only ever be one NZ First Leader.

Given his repetitive criticism of the “lamestream” media, Whale does seem to have a problem with fact checking before publication.

Turn the record over Hamnida. All this “neolib” stuff gets so boring. Not all of us have trained as social workers at high-falluting universities. Sheesh; most of us are just normal people trying to make a buck, or trying to employ people. Save your fancy labels for your academic mates

Gees you Neolibs are sensitive.
