Wow!

I had a feeling the TV One/Colmar Brunton Poll would be good for National, as they were out in the field after good publicity from Don Brash’s appearances on Kim Hill and Paul Homes poll, plus follow-up from Waitangi Day.

But I was thinking a gain of say 7% or so, not a 17% jump in one month which is unheard of.

The full results are:

National 45% (+17% from December)
Labour 38% (-7%)
NZ First 6% (-5%)
Greens 5% (+1%)
United Future (+0%)
ACT 1% (-5%)

In terms of seats, the effect would be:

National 56 (+29 from election)
Labour 48 (-4)
NZ First 8 (-5)
Greens 6 (-3)
United 2 (-6)
ACT 0 (-9)
Progressive 1 (-1)
