Congratulations to Rodney on winning both the members’ primary and the caucus vote for ACT’s leadership.
I just hope this doesn’t mean he’ll be too busy to keep blogging. As expected Rodney has already blogged his own victory!
A National MP commented to me today that from National’s perspective they want ACT to get either 0.5% or 5%. The worst result would be ACT getting 4% and having that centre right vote wasted.
Heh just realised that now Rodney is Leader, he’ll get to write the letter to the Speaker asking for Awatere-Huata to be expelled from Parliament.
With Richard Prebble likely to retire before the next election, ACT will probably get both Kenneth Wang and Paul King as new List MPs in the next few months.
