Ten out of ten

Saturday night was a pleasant one, with a late dinner at the Oriental Thai. Company was excellent, food was very good, the singing of the waiter was not good.

Walking up Cambridge Terrace to the Embassy Theatre, it was very amusing to have a passer by exclaim, pointing at my companion “If that’s yours, ten out of ten mate”. I think this was intended as a compliment!

The Embassy had a special midnight world premiere of “Flatmates Wanted“. The Wellington made movie was made on a budget of $1,500 and has been selected for the New York International Independent Film and Video festival. It was quite amusing in parts, but yes it was made for $1,500 which showed. Nevertheless well done to Gary Davies and Mike Hohaia for their efforts.
