Tamihere to resign?

NZPA reports that John Tamihere has turned up to Parliament with two lawyers in tow.He did not deny that he may be resigning his portfolios, saying that people will find out tonight.

UPDATE: TVNZ has been told by the ninth floor that Tamihere will be resigning before the House sits at 2.00 p.m. and returning to the backbench. So much for Helen waiting for the results of the inquiry – she just wants to avoid another question time on the issue!
