Now that was a party!

Slowly recovering from the Oktoberfest party which I went to last night at Clint’s invitation. A long time since I’ve been to an all you can eat and drink night.

I got many photos, most of which will never be published of table dancing, bench surfing etc etc.

Was good to catch up with not just Clint (former President of Prebble’s Rebels, but also his ex-flatmate Gav and Matt McInnnes who stood for ACT in Invercargill).

Party finished sometime after midnight and while I did mange to find a tube station and catch the right tube, I sort of, umm, fell asleep on the tube and woke up past my station. Whoops. Never mind eventually got home to West Hampton.

I thought it would be a fairly male dominated affair. But there were many beer loving girls there.

Dancing and singing took place long into the night.

Some came dressed appropriately.

As the night wore on the benches were discovered to have many uses. Firstly to surf on!

And then even to slide across. Here is Clint about to slide off.

And finally even as a drinking vessel!

Almost like being back at Otago University – a damn fun night – non stop drinking, singing and dancing!
