So much for sub-judice

The Attorney-General is meant to uphold standards of justice, and hence they will usually come out and decry an MP who alleges a person has committed a , before the judicial process has been concluded.

So what should say about Trevor Mallard who has named jockey Lisa Cropp as a drug cheat, despite the she has a high court challenge pending, and also charges yet to be heard by a Racing Industry body.

Now don't get me wrong – I'm not saying Lisa Cropp is not a cheat. I am saying that having the Minister of declare it as a fact before all charges have been heard and resolved is somewhat unfair, to put it mildly.
