If she was charged with having a brain I’d agree.

Doesn’t mean she got a trial that would have stood up for more than ten seconds in a court in a western democracy though.

TomV – actually I have said she is guilty for some time based on you know the 4 kgs of pot she had on her.

But many in the aussie media portrayed her as a wonderful Aussie beauty who would never do such a thing. Her defenders said many times none of her family were into drugs. This suggests otherwise.

And her family are relevant. She had gone to Bali almost 100 times (how do you afford that as a hair dresser) to visit her sister. Her family all backed her alibis up for this travel. If they themselves are in the drug trade then it is relevant.

I’m pretty sure I have suggested here or elsewhere that it was always probable that her brother was the actual importer, and she got caught carrying the bag. Will be interesting to compare sentences for the two.

The brother who was arrested was travelling with Corby to Bali at the time of her arrest. The story I heard months ago was that Corby was covering for her brother all along. The Indonesian Customs Officers have testified that Corby explicity said the bag was hers, but the story I have heard was it that it was her brother’s bad and Corby must have known what was inside and was taking the rap for her brother – until the lawyers came along and they concoted the idea that the drugs were planted. I dismissed this at the time as just an idle rumour, but it makes more sense now.

News in the brothers just been arrested I think in Brisbane for home invasion drugs and other charges.Backgrounder on him he sounds like not a nice sort Has previous.Suggested he was carrying bag when approached by Indonesian Customs and she took bag from him and he said it was hers.

Scapelle was actually a ‘trainee’ beautician, since an actual full time job would be too onerous for her. The Indonesian court now lets her spend the next 20 years cutting hair inside. Wonder if she gives up hairdressing for good now.

I feel really bad to be following the saga of this “white trash family” so avidly….not.In fact I probably epitomise all that is wrong with society today.By the way,is it true that Schapelle has been impregnated by an alien and her foetus resembles a sea cucumber?

I live in Australia and before people were saying omg she’s innocent!

NOW,,,,quietly they slink off with pics of Schapelle shown with dealers and her brother stung for dope dealing?
Plus they are ALL into Asian men and that scene, one would have to imagine her the unluckiest woman on earth or just plain GULITY!
