30km/hr in CBD

While I think the open road speed limits are generallt too low, I actually support the lowering of the speed limit on Lambton Quay and parts of Willis Street from 50 km/hr to 30 km/hr.

I drive there a lot, and rarely go over 30 km/hr because it simply isn’t safe. You have pedesterians who may dash across the road at anytime, so only at night does one come close to 50 km/hr.
