No Right Turn blogs on the Mark Edwards case, where he ended up with a broken neck after Police wrestled him to the floor to arrest him.
Now this guy was a large and by his own words drunk guy, and when having to wrestle someone to the ground who is resisting arrest, the chance of serious damage can’t be eliminated. This isn’t to defend what happened in this case (I don’t know enough facts( but to recognise the risk.
So wouldn’t tasers have avoided what happened here? Large drunk guy refusing to be arrested and leave the house where he was trespassing. Rather than wrestle him to the ground risking both him and the police officers, a taser could have avoided what happened.
