Does god hate women?

The God we have in the Big Three monotheisms is a God who originated in a period when male superiority was absolutely taken for granted. That time has passed, but the superior male God remains and that God holds women in contempt. That God is the one who puts “His” imprimatur on all those tyrannical laws. That God is a product of history, but taken to be eternal, which is a bad combination. That is the God who hates women.

So why do so many women put up with it? Partly because God gives with one hand what “He” takes away with the other – God consoles people for the very harshness that God creates. It’s the sad, familiar, heartrending bargain in which the victim embraces the perpetrator, in some complicated, confusing, all-too-human mix of appeasement, need and stubborn loyalty. The fact that the embrace is all on one side is resolutely ignored.

Far be it from me to interrupt your long weekend DPF, but I am really looking forward to seeing the summary you said you were putting together of the David Bain evidence.

Some weeks ago you promised to set up two lists of what you would have to believe to find him guilty / not guilty.

Now that all evidence has been presented, is it possible to get that posted so that we can be considering it alongside the jury during this week? No pressure or anything 🙂

arkhad – the appropriate time for that is probably the moment that the Judge begins his summing up, from which time the jury will be sequested as it retires to consider its verdict.

I personally made the decision that I would not blog about the Bain trial until that moment, and I have refrained from doing so, despite temptation! Interestingly though, even though I have not blogged about Bain since Sunday 1/3/2009, that post is amongst the most frequently accessed pages, according to Statcounter metrics – that suggests that there is a voracious appetite out there for opinion on the progress of the trial.

It is rather irritating to read billy borkers insane insinuation that God hates women on the Queens Birthday. If God hates the ladies why is half my congregation from the fairer sex? Praise the Lord for their beauty and colorful dresses, beautiful eyes, lipstick lips and other stuff.

Last night I watched Guy Espiner attack Bill English with a zeal I have never witnessed from him when interviewing Kullen, or any leftist.

Espiner claimed to be in possession of a view passed on to him by some senior treasury official (that the Super fund should not be suspended as there would be a net gain from persevering with it through borrowing.)

I think this official should be hunted down and fired. If he has any kind of view on such matters he should make it clear during departmental discussions, and then work towards whatever the consensus was.

Taking information that undermines his boss to an (IMHO) odious little leftist scumbag like Guyon Espiner should be a punishable offence within his department.

Who is this coward, and what right does he have to take important and confidential economic comment from within Treasury to despicable yellow rabble like Espiner??

Of course before the election, Espiner was busy promoting the Labour party’s attack slogan, that you cannot borrow to finance tax cuts. Apparently though, its OK to borrow to gamble on the share market. What shameless stooges the left are.

Gamble on the sharemarket? What a horrid leftist thing to say, Red. I thought you’d be in favour of wise investments on the stock market, providing much needed capital for business, oiling the wheels of commerce, all the while protected by the magnificence of the invisible hand of the market.

Sounds like Reddy wants to close down the investment and insurance business. After all,isn’t that what they do? They borrow from me, gamble on the stock market and take a fee along the way, no matter if I win or lose.

Yesterday we were in a lift in a Sydney mall. The lift was packed. On a floor a group of about 5 young guys and two girls got in. Their ages about maybe 13 or 14. One of the young guys kept the door open while continuing a shouting conversation with some mates standing a few meters away. The language was interesting with plenty of F and C’s thrown about. This was so to impress the young girls with them. The adults in the lift all had a bit of a knowing smirk on their faces. No one was all that fussed really. Finally the lift can get going. the next floor they all get out. (i floor?) anyway The usual bravado again with noises made at those in the lift and at great mirth from his friends, a pretend fart into the lift…….

Funny how that story just came back to me now, when I read borker’s first post.

No, it doesn’t. It discusses whether the anti christ will be homosexual. There are many good words to describe poofs, they have no special, prior claim to the word gay. Gay they are not, mostly a miseable bunch of sodomites. Gay is an excellent word for general use.

The most ridiculous and embarrassing thing I have seen lately was TV 1 leading with a news item with vague, unsubstantiated allegations (which they did manage to say were denied) about the ex-Lion-keeper abusiing tigers.

So what!!!? What kind of a news channel are you? You got good ratings with the pork issue so you felt you were on a role? he doesn’t even work there now.

And it got me thinking about TV1 generally and what they report. Let’s see, pork issue, the runaway millinaires, Tony Veitch, abusing ex lion boss, and I realized they are more like a gossip magazine with the obsessional tall poppy syndrome that Kiwis thrive on.

So, which would you rate as a more reliable and professional news source for the country:

Woman’s Day.
Woman’s Weekly.
Fair Go.
One News.
Dancing with the stars?

I couldn’t really decide myself. Oh, yes I did, I moved over to Prime News.

This country get’s more amusing the longer I come back.

Perhaps someone could explain why the Chinese seem to have such a grip on P PRODUCTION.

It occurs to me that the 2 just in Court the other day are not only ugly, but like many of their comrades determined to bring our society

down.

I am rarely racist, but in the case of Mainland Chines trying to poison our freeish world. I propose the death sentence.

Would be good to understand if BillDonker has actually talked to any religous females about the left wing view of religion.

Seems that all the “expert” commentary comes from left wing “intellectuals” who are actually jealous of the peace and belonging that these religous women have.

I can strongly attest to my Jewish mother in law having no “stockholm syndrome”

Suggest you concentrate on the real issues of the world and stop pushing your failed socialist barrow that has claimed more lives than any other religous ideal.

I see also the issue about people on study visas getting pregnant and then trying to go to the Human Rights Commission for getting deported.

One Chinese student claimed our human rights record was worse than China?

Surely if you go overseas to study or work temporialy you don’t get pregnant.

Bain will be found not gulity (a hung jury at worst). This verdict will have significant implications for the NZ Judciary who refused to hear new evidence and I hope the verdict will be a catalyst for a major overhaul of how cases are presided over. Having had some interesting experiences over many years, observing the workings of the Courts and the competency of some who preside on the bench, I have been shocked at how such incompetence and personal predjuices, can often prevail. The system is skewed. There needs to be a complete revamp where say, cases with serious consequences are first heard before panels of judges and/or, of lay people, where the chances of a miscarriage of justice and/or, personal predjudices by a judge acting alone, are minimised. Once you’re in the ‘system’, the damage is done, and there is a public perception that the old boy network protects their own when their decisions are flawed. A case in point would be Scott Watson, where the judge despised the man and felt the public pressure for a conviction . There would be not one judge in NZ whom would privately agree now, that Watson is the victim of a miscarriage of justice. Why then, dosen’t one publicly voice their opinion and speak-out? The reasons are of course. obvious.

1. Saying someone else killed more people in no way absolves you from those you have killed. Would the Spanish have killed fewer in South America if they’d had better weapons?

2. Stalin, Hitler, mao, et al. – all personality cults, no different to that of Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, et al.

3. How many ordinary Germans in WW2 went to church each Sunday, prayed to god and offeered him priase, then returned to their killing Monday? The Nazis prospered with the patronage of the Lutheran and catholic churches. Even the current pope was a member of Hitler Youth.

4. The Scandinavian states seem to do quite well with their adaptation of socialism. How many people have they killed lately?

5. John Key is a socialist and he leads a moderately socialist government. How many people has NZ killed lately?

6. If your mother in law’s religion is so good for her, why ahve you not followed her example? Do you not need peace and religious belonging?

I do actually follow her religion. And thanks for asking and I am at peace.

If anyone was going to have an issue with other faiths regarding persecution and murder it would be us. But that wasn’t the point of your stupid post.

You followed the lefty line of trying to denigrate religion because it casues communities and groups that prevent the rise of the perfect one solutionist state.

Religion has always been a target of left wing idealists like yourself and it isn’t for any of the moral high ground reasons you state including females being second class. It is because you can’t disolve a community into a unit number when religion of any type exists.

1 – Being a part of a newspaper readers’ panel prior to the last election and hearing John Key say three times “I believe in the welfare state”.

2. Bill English’s demand that banks reduce their profits.

3. Gerry Brownlee’s demand the electricity generators and retailers reduce their profits.

I mentioned my mother in law because you raised the topic of women being down trodden by religion. Unless you have no funny bone in your whole body then you must know the numerous jokes around Jewish mother in laws.

How is the Jewish religion anti?
– Many of the biggest philantropists in the world are Jewish. Do a search on one of the central Jewish principles Tikkun Olam
– Some of the greatest scientists and thinkers were Jewish going back thousands of years
– Judaism was one of the first communities to establish communal environments and cities. Also how is your computer working, must have trouble for left wingers to blog without those Jewish invented Intel chips.
– the highest principle is the presevation of human life (not just Jewish).

Before the outbreak of World War II in the 1937 encyclical Mit brennender Sorge, Pope Pius XI “condemned the neopaganism of the Nazi ideology – especially its theory of racial superiority…”. Drafted by the future Pope Pius XII and read from the pulpits of all German Catholic churches, it described Adolf Hitler as an insane and arrogant prophet and was the first official denunciation of Nazism made by any major organization.
Pius XI later warned a group of pilgrims that antisemitism is incompatible with Christianity.

Nazi reprisals against the Church in Germany followed thereafter, including “staged prosecutions of monks for homosexuality, with the maximum of publicity”. When Dutch bishops protested against the wartime deportation of Jews, the Nazis responded with harsher measures rounding up 92 converts including Edith Stein who were then deported and murdered. “The brutality of the retaliation made an enormous impression on Pius XII.” In Poland, the Nazis murdered over 2,500 monks and priests and even more were imprisoned.

In the Soviet Union an even more severe persecution occurred. After the war, historians such as David Kertzer accused the Church of encouraging centuries of antisemitism, and Pope Pius XII of not doing enough to stop Nazi atrocities.
Prominent members of the Jewish community contradicted the criticisms of Pius and spoke highly of his efforts to protect Jews; Pinchas Lapide declared Pius XII “was instrumental in saving at least 700,000, but probably as many as 860,000 Jews from certain death at Nazi hands”

Air France Rio-Paris flight missing with 228 aboard

PARIS (Reuters) – An Air France plane flying from Brazil to Paris has gone missing with 228 people on board, the airline said on Monday.

Its last known location was unclear. The Brazilian air force said its planes had begun searching for the airliner off the northeast coast of Brazil.

Flight AF 447 has 216 passengers and 12 crew on board. It left Rio de Janeiro on Sunday at 7 p.m. (6:00 p.m. EDT) and was expected to land at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport on Monday at 11:15 a.m. (5:15 a.m. EDT).

“Air France regrets to announce that it is without news from flight AF 447,” an Air France spokesman said.
