The WINZ office is completely overloaded and very few staffs are onboard. Some of them have been out on stress leave for days. I can understand the Minister wanting to take a holiday during the most demanding time of need… what a minister!

Anyways, I just wanted to wipe the smile off the PM’s face before I am completely banned. And speaking/writing of which, when I clicked on the Submit button, a new window named Good Bye bobbed up!

* A 27-year CIA veteran, who chaired National Intelligence Estimates and personally delivered intelligence briefings to Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, their Vice Presidents, Secretaries of State, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and many other senior government officials (Raymond McGovern) said

“I think at simplest terms, there’s a cover-up. The 9/11 Report is a joke”, and is open to the possibility that 9/11 was an inside job.

* A 29-year CIA veteran, former National Intelligence Officer (NIO) and former Director of the CIA’s Office of Regional and Political Analysis (William Bill Christison) said ..

..“I now think there is persuasive evidence that the events of September did not unfold as the Bush administration and the 9/11 Commission would have us believe. …

.. All three [buildings that were destroyed in the World Trade Center] were most probably destroyed by controlled demolition charges placed in the buildings before 9/11.” (and see this).

* A number of intelligence officials, including a CIA Operations Officer who co-chaired a CIA multi-agency task force coordinating intelligence efforts among many intelligence and law enforcement agencies (Lynne Larkin) ..

.. sent a joint letter to Congress expressing their concerns about “serious shortcomings,” “omissions,” and “major flaws” in the 9/11 Commission Report and offering their services for a new investigation (they were ignored)

* 20-year Marine Corps infantry and intelligence officer, the second-ranking civilian in U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence, and former CIA clandestine services case officer (David Steele) ..

..stated that “9/11 was at a minimum allowed to happen as a pretext for war”, and it was probably an inside job (scroll down to Customer Review dated October 7, 2006).

* A decorated 20-year CIA veteran, who Pulitzer-Prize winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh called “perhaps the best on-the-ground field officer in the Middle East” ..

.. and whose astounding career formed the script for the Academy Award winning motion picture Syriana (Robert Baer) ..

.. said that “the evidence points at” 9/11 having had aspects of being an inside job

* The Division Chief of the CIA’s Office of Soviet Affairs, who served as Senior Analyst from 1966 – 1990. He also served as Professor of International Security at the National War College from 1986 – 2004 (Melvin Goodman) said ..

..”The final [9/11 Commission] report is ultimately a coverup.”

* Professor of History and International Relations, University of Maryland. Former Executive Assistant to the Director of the National Security Agency, former military attaché in China, with a 21-year career in U.S. Army Intelligence (Major John M. Newman, PhD, U.S. Army)..

.. questions the government’s version of the events of 9/11..”

If the electronic spending data for Feb is a precursor then Joe Public clearly understands economics as he is resisting the urge to spend and appears to be paying down debt. Message for Key/English – follow the herd – reduce govt spending – now – and use the savings to pay down debt.

Well its obvious really, to anyone who has ever struggled against the regulatory morass that is city and environmental planning. How else could anyone avoid all the red tape to redevelop the WTC?

The police actions against the bus driver are nothing short of shameful.

I hope the Gore police are not an reflection of the rest of NZ police.

I hope to hell they cut to the chase and send this (IMHO) weaseling anti-life treasonist down for five years. (no parole)

On a different subject, there is a very strange affair unfolding in the little Northland town of Dargaville at the moment, where the local paper is hailing a controversial local amateur historian as the winner of the New Zealand Senior of the Year Award, despite the fact that the title, which is given out as part of the wider New Zealand Awards, was given to the South Island businessman and philanthropist Sir Eion Edwards. Kiwibank, which sponsors the Awards, and Awards coordinator Grant McCabe have both contacted the Dargaville Online paper and asked it to retract its claims – and the paper has responded by running a special issue and sticking by its story, using what appears to be a bogus certificate! It appears the paper may be the victim of a hoax, or be taking part in a hoax.

Phil I’m surprised you’re dissing 911 because it’s clearly the most environmentally friendly way to demolish large skyscapers we’ve ever seen.

I mean apparently, according to the FACTS all we need to do is drop some burning debris on a 47-story skyscaper containing lots of sensitive information on all sorts of bad guys being investigated by the CIA, NSA, SEC etc (like ENRON) and apparently, according to the FACTS the large diesel tank in the basement just spontaneously combusts resulting, according to the FACTS in a top-down (not bottom-down) collapse of the entire structure, virtually within its own footprint.

In the face of these FACTS I woulda thought the Greens would have been seriously advocating this technique because clearly, 911’s WTC7 building exposed FACTS that were hitherto unknown in the skyscraper demolition world and it really does seem like the way to go.

On another note, anyone just see the Walrus attempt “fair and balanced” with Street and Joyce. I couldn’t get over the nice relaxing red speckles floating up behind Marion resplendent in heavy screen makeup and a bright red suit while Steven looked like just another bald rich-prick with his dark blue suit imposed over a dark photo of yachts in a marina. Congratulations on the subliminal propaganda to whomever in the Walrus team setup those sets, but just be aware some of us aren’t completely fucking blind/stupid and yes, we did notice what you’re doing.

Some guarded reason and truth from a Democrat. Not enough meat for Beck, but is it enough to prompt any changes? I doubt it, too many forces, too much money, too entrenched.

1. Politics is corrupted by money. Representatives spend hours a day fundraising, continually. And fund raising puts continual pressure on policies. The system won’t start recovery until campaign finance is reformed majorly.

2. At a time when consensus and working together is badly needed on person in particular is sand in the gearbox – Rahm Emanual.

Let’s close out the vitriol with this delightful little anecdote.

I took my 18mth old girl to the local with me to watch the Phoenix Sunday. She has a lot of fun but she does keep me busy wandering around after her stopping her from a)visiting her friends behind the bar b) keeping her out of the pokies room – lights, noise and action all in one package – c) keeping her inside the bar instead of the footpath and road outside.

Anyway, a soon after we got home, she began parading in front of her mother, throwing her hands in the air and chortling. She had us puzzled until I realised that she had seen the adults in the bar do that ritual three times during the game, and was letting her mother know all about it.

Just amazing how acute their observational skills can be!
