Regarding the pi thing —

If you calculate pi out to enough decimal places, you will find the following sequence of numbers:
pi = 3.1415 … 8512121520891991971541916511191478518591…

I’m fairly sure that any finite sequence of digits is contained in the decimal expansion of pi. Thus using that numbers-to-letters correspondence in the other post, you could also find a sequence of numbers corresponding to “God is not real”, or “Praise Allah”.

(and, being shorter, I’d expect those phrases to turn up earlier)

give a source for the claim and its not clear how the mapping from numbers to letters is to be done – is 12
a reference to AB or to L? As repton has pointed out there is a theoretical possibility, still
unproven to my knowledge, that any finite sequence of digits, and therefore any message you like, may show
up in the expansion of pi, or many other numbers. Its possible someone misunderstood this theoretical possibility
as having actually been proven and chose one particular message as an example.

Kris- the Muslim world stopped being a military threat to the West centuries ago. The Dark Ages isn’t relevant. Christendom went on to conquer both Americas, large swathes of Africa and parts of the Asia-Pacific (and kill massive numbers of people along the way). The only lesson we’ve got from history is that if there is a Muslim desire to conquer the world, they’re basically incompetent at it.

I subscribe to values that according to the bible, would justify my murder many times over. I hold values that a few centuries ago, Christians were murdering people over.

I am a dhimmi here in NZ already. You belong to organisations that get tax relief. You have religious schools that get state funding. You’re allowed to send in your zealots into schools under the guise of RI and try to mind-fuck children into believing your absurd ideas. That just makes you lot a great big bunch of hypocrites.

As far as I am concerned, Christians and Muslims belong to the same club. Anybody who thinks that a man lived in a fish for 3 days, shouldn’t be involved in determining military or foreign policy.

“I think he abused his power and tried to teach me a lesson.”

AS for the DNA, it works hand in glove with the RNA as far as I remember so you have to evolve two complex items and the earth hasn’t been here long enough for one functional protein molecule to form by radomness let alone for two incredibly complex items that work the way they do together.

Correct me if I’m wrong but a cell is like a factory with the ability to choose and make items it needs to function and replicate processes using stored information and then moving parts from one part of itself to another part to continue the process. A cell essentially processes energy, stores information and replicates itself.

I was writing about you and your binary approach to what you laughably assert to be your comprehension and analytical skills, and the fact that most of the links that you have posted are on the same topic and with accompanying comment and tone from you that does not vary in its substance or invective. You acclaim these links as further “proof” and “evidence”. Like the mad magpie, you delude yourself that linking to what others have repeated, said, done or distorted, is somehow conclusive validation of your point of view. That is patently facile to anyone with any degree of analytical ability.

The links that I have followed appear to involve by people who are just as unhinged as you are. I may be doing you a disservice because I don’t look at all of them – but that is the perception from most of what I’ve seen. The last one I followed related to the ABC guy that got fired and seemed interesting at first, but without much digging and seeing other performances by him, it is easy to see that he might simply have been fired for being an idiot.

Your response to anyone that disagrees with you is simply vitriol; such people are “lefties”, “leftards” and “queers”, or “too stupid to warrant a response”. Your invective inevitably criticises the target of your vitriol for lacking the very same skills that you assert to possess but do not.

That is not a rational response and shows a remarkable lack of emotional intelligence and self-awareness in particular. There are no doubt a number of reasons that you do this, aside from the fact that you appear to be a sad, angry and lonely man. But I think the combination of your inability to express yourself in a rational manner, your narcissitic disorder, and the limitations imposed by your one-dimensional reasoning abilities, largely explain your reactions. In that respect, you’re not dissimilar to borker and his various persona, although borker manages to keep a cork on it rather better than you do.
