Albert Ross … Susan St John …. Just something I heard about on Nat Radio this morning early on. She is suggesting all should get a basic pension and cost of renting whatever property they need to be an additional top-up ….. obviously this means explaining oneself to somebody in an office.
Empire building helping with unemployment on one hand is good …. maybe. Though it costs less to keep somebody on the dole than in employment.
Could be something on RNZ website. Cannot find anything ….It could have been her answer to the Salvation Army report on homeless babyboomers in a few years time …. which of course this government has done little to solve if it could … not holding my breath as to if either side could.

Many inquires have been made since the allegations where first laid.
No human parts have been sold by planed parent hood. The unedited videos prove this .
The only money that changed hands was to offset the cost of removing and supplying tissue that would be else wise dumped into the trash. This is totally legal and has been oked by the Ethics society that oversee the disposal of human remains.
The result of the lie is a reduction on medical research and transplants using donated fetal tissue not any reduction in the abortion rate . It also wastes the fetal tissue needlessly . You have succeeded in dumping more human remains into the garbage that is all.

‘I’d like the defenders of euthanasia and so-called “death with dignity” to explain something to me. How is the legalization and relentless promotion of “assisted suicide” not the “glorification of suicide”?

I’m tired of all of transparently mindless babble about how “assisted suicide” is not a slippery slope. The phrase itself screams with denial: “Wanna kill yourself? Here, let us help you with that.” When helping people kill themselves is referred to as “end-of-life care” rather than “accomplice to murder,” who will be picking up the phone at the other end of the suicide prevention hot line?

Here’s the thing. I know many people who struggle with depression. I would wager that everyone does. If we’re honest, we can admit that many people who struggle with mental illness would, in a particularly black moment, consider suicide if it was easily available and relatively painless. That is the reason the number one cause of death by gun in Canada is suicide—because many people who would not have ordinarily taken their own lives do so in a fit of palpable darkness.

The idea that our government, our health care system, our society, would send such mixed signals to those contemplating suicide is criminally negligent and outright disgusting. Suicide is never the answer, campaigners used to say. Now, I suppose, they’ll have to qualify. Suicide is never the answer—except sometimes. It’s complicated!

That’s already happening.’

No Difference Between Planned Parenthood Selling Aborted Babies for Research and Josef Mengele

‘Nazi monster Dr. Josef Mengele is known to have ordered the murder of over 400,000 Jews at Auschwitz from 1943 to 1945. Thousands more he kept alive and mercilessly tortured to death during experiments intended to create an Aryan super-race.

Given the witless opposition to the legal use of fetal tissue donated by women who underwent legal abortion procedures I assume neither it or it’s others have ever been vaccinated against polio, chicken pox, rubella or shingles.

And should witless or one of it’s others contract any one of a shed load of degenerative or neurological diseases, diabetes, cancer, eyesight loss or suffer a spinal cord injury they’ll forego any or all treatments developed through fetal tissue research. Or else NAZI.

It certainly has been a big week in the Muslim world. The biggest news, of course, was the highly successful, highly co-ordinated massacres conducted by some Muslims in Paris on 13 November, which killed around 130, wounded around 350, and globally fulfilled what my Penguin paperback Koran translates as ‘We will put terror into the hearts of the unbelievers’ (3:151).

The forgotten news was the bombing in Beirut which killed about 45. It was quickly replaced as a news item in favour of the City of Love, well known to westerners, and with a ready supply of landmarks that can double as Facebook profile pictures.

The problem with that theory is that, under ACC, there is “no fault” if and when some idiot toasts themselves so they get melanoma. And Kiwis are not yet ready to repeal Owen Woodhouse’s archaic piece of welfare state dreaming, so we all foot the bill.

Kimbo, the no fault scheme is the reason we don’t have ambulance chasers in NZ and it’s the reason parents don’t have to carry liability insurance in case one of their children’s friends skins their knee while playing at their place and the kids parents sues the host parents. Like my sister in Canada has to carry.

When I was at Law School Bill Hodge was then a lecturer who split his time between Auckland and Oregon Universities. Oregon was at that time quite similar to NZ in population and industrial/pastoral/forestry economic mix. Anyway he told the class one day in discussing ACC that he used to tell all his US students about our scheme and all the first years, he said, were very keen indeed on it. However, by the time they were in their last year they’d all gone off the idea. He explained this was because they’d all learned by then all the money they could make on the personal injury tort litigation.

We are bloody lucky here we haven’t gone down the same road the US/Canada has. It’s nuts. And the no fault aspect of ACC is the reason why we haven’t.

If we suppose (for arguments sake) that Christianity is proven true, then a primary doctrine of the faith is being “born again” which (obviously) is considered a spiritual rebirth.

Now I ask you this, how many Christian organizations are involved in what we could call “spiritual abortion”?

When the church effectively drives out certain individuals from their ranks because of some bizarre doctrine of submission, young earth creation, corruption of authority, child abuse, etc etc etc, is this not a form of spiritual abortion?
Could this be seen as an even greater evil than physical abortion?

Now, where do you reckon that came from? The rest of the article goes on, quoting unionists and government bureaucrats trying to change a whole bunch of things, especially regulations, but does not mention ACC, even though it is the elephant in the room.

Many countries have sent representatives to inspect our “world class” ACC scheme..and not one has imitated it. Wonder why?

It is interesting that “Dönmeh” not only refers to the Jewish “untrustworthy converts” to Islam in Turkey but it is also a derogatory Turkish word for a transvestite, or someone who is claiming to be someone they are not…

There is probably a relationship between low levels of investment in business, such as R and D, and poor safety standards. Then there is the decline of unions.

In one case coal mines, we simply lack the level of safety required in Oz in legislation, ACC has little to do with any of this.

As for sunbeds, melanoma is not covered by ACC – the consequence of over tanning by sunbeds becomes a cost for the health system and thus government has a cause to regulate.

The real issue ACC raises, is that we cover accident at work and accident at play – to the level of investment in recovery and return to work, but those who get sick simply get reduced to poverty benefit while they are unable to work.

It’s a very petty ban, as the “anti-Russian activities” are supposedly attributed to the organisations who give money to Russian civil society groups – not the Russian groups that receive the money. But then again, they’ll be next.

As this Russian historian says:

“I think this is a deeply unfair decision, although of course it was predictable in the current climate,” said Arseny Roginsky, of Memorial, an organisation working on preserving historical memory, which has received grants from Soros for a number of years. “Soros has done much good for Russia ever since the 1990s, supporting education and science as well as civil society. The organisation should be thanked, not banned. But those are the times we live in.”

I think this paragraph from What can we expect from Russia in Syria? explains why Russia is being so petty and reactionary:

That’s the first I’d head that Solidarność was considered a front for the US or the UK. Maybe the Russians of the time thought that since they’d killed or deported most of Poland’s leader class and intelligentsa that there was no one left to organise something like it.

Would this melanoma cause not be covered by “health and safety”?
If there is proof that sunbeds are directly linked to melanomas, then OSH should be investigating. They seem to be into every thiong else in our lives , why not this?

You missed out a third option: the belief in God. Not a small god that exists within a universe or a world, but a supreme Being who predates existence, who created everything. What kind of “hatred” would that be sam? I have not as yet seen any hatred in Witnesses posts, though to be fair I have not seen them all.

But I do know that Liberals use terms like “hatred” to mean disagreeing with Liberalism.

In fact, pretty much any Liberal term for Liberal thought crimes, like “racism” “homophobia” and “Islamaphobia” should be taken with a very large grain of salt.
