The lyin’ leader’s lie was bigger than we thought, proving they think we’re idiots
Day 93 after the miraculous baby-dropper said that the Youth abuse camp review would take 60-90 days.
So yesterday I commented about the lyin’ leaders’ lies about being “completely open and transparent” about anything – especially the cover-up of the Labour Youth Booze and Abuse camps.

And then miraculously and of course totally coincidentally, news dribbles out that the infinitely idiotic Andy Kirton is “resigning” from the Labour party for a really, really well paid job at Air NZ. I’m sure the timing of this had nothing at all to do with the hope that it would be buried among all the baby-fawning of the obsequious fake-news MSM.

And then we had confirmation of what all ordinary, decent people thought – that the whole review was a front to sweep it under the carpet. Newsroom is reporting that the (totally unbiased and completely independent and competent) reviewer

She had three months to report back and her findings were not to be made public but go to key party leaders.
Berryman only recently spoke to some of the five victims of the assaults at the camp.

This is starting to look as stinky as what is coming out of the FBI in the US about the Clinton investigation. If this was done with any intention of sorting out the problem and making sure the best interests of the children were taken care of – why would the reviewer have only just interviewed SOME of the victims? Oh yes, and nice of Newsroom to take the party line and remind the sheeple that they couldn’t be trusted with such important stuff as this report – it was only for the party leaders (yeah like they can be trusted).

So let’s take stock:
– This has all the marks of a cover-up
– The timing was designed to push any review report past what Labour was hoping to be the Jacinda’s “Royal Wedding” moment when she achieved the incredible feat of giving birth
– The reviewer is dragging the chain and going slower than Auckland traffic at rush hour
– This review is going to be secret (from the ‘completely open and transparent’ leader) to the party hacks that wanted to cover it up in the first place.

But sure libtards! You can send your kids off to Labour Youth camps safe in the knowledge that Labour will take the best possible care of them. Maybe Darren Hughes will come back to supervise the next one.

    Indeed, and that’s something I would expect National to already be chasing up. After all, having helped Labour get into government and now being in a position of considerable power in the party, why would Kirton walk?
    
    My guess is that the findings of the report are adverse towards him, so when it comes out, Labour can see “It’s all ok; he has already moved on”.

      Who categorizes the alleged offences as a “political crime”? You seem to be too concerned about the fact that the camp was organised by the Labour Party. Like many of us here, I’m concerned about the time the inquiries seem to be taking, and the concern that will have on the young victims of the alleged sexual assaults.         BTW the police have to observe the rules of evidence and establish if there is criminal culpability of the kind that would go before the courts and likely succeed .

        stephie @ 10:38 am, it is for the Court alone (a magistrate, a judge alone, or a jury) to determine any criminal culpability / liability, or to acquit the accused. The job of the police is limited to determining whether there is a sufficiently-realistic prima facie case against any accused individual(s) to initiate a criminal trial.
        
        After more than three months, one might have expected that police inquiries into the relevant social gathering might have been concluded by now. With the passage of time, the reliability of evidence may become weaker. Meanwhile, alleged victims of sexual assault at that weekend camp may well be traumatised by memories of that weekend, and by what they see as society’s lack of urgency and concern regarding their experiences.
        
        So I’m waiting to hear, very soon, whether this police investigation will result in prosecution(s) or the termination of inquiries. The present hiatus can’t be allowed to go on forever. Why such a delay?

  From DP’s link to the Newshub article -hopefully someone with legal knowledge can provide us all here some answers in order to clarify the following:
  
  1. Is it normal for an organisation (Labour) to commission their own private investigation (seeing that the Police are supposedly investigating a criminal act in an official capacity)?
  
  2. Is it normal for the private (Labour) investigation to speak to the victims of the assaults (when there is an official Police investigation underway)? Could this have some bearing on what the victims of the assaults say to the Police?
  
  3. If it is “normal” for Labour to conduct their own private investigation, is it satisfactory that “Berryman only recently spoke to some of the five victims of the assaults at the camp”? Note: that is “some” not “all” – why is that?
  
  4. Finally is it normal for the Labour private investigation to be kept secret? Surely it’s in the Public Interest for Labour to release the results? I do hope the MSM apply pressure on to Labour to have their secret investigation report released.
  
  After all why not, if it were National (not Labour), you bet some “investigative journalist” would come along and somehow obtain and publish a leaked copy, fully justified, because of public interest and as we know from the recent Hager/Police apology, the Police cannot do anything about it!

    So, a Labour-commissioned Lawyer is speaking to alleged victims whilst a police investigation into the alleged assaults is on-going.
    
    Difficult to see this in any but Political terms.
    
    How can the public be assured that the alleged victims haven’t been leant on by the Labour Party Hierarchy?
    
    Something is very STINKY about this affair.

      Must be something to do with the appointment of a new Police Chief, as it reflected that he or she may not even be a sworn Police person probably an ex Labour Minister.
      A Labour political appointment – say Helen Clark who is of course impartial.

      You have a complainant and a suspect / offender known to the complainant or complainants.
      
      Bush without a complaint was very quick to rush to the defence of the fisherman so I am not surprised to hear delays in solving this current crime.

I must say, albeit without having seen the Egdeler post etc, that W O H B had a real Jim Dandy late yesterday quoting one Peter Davis on the abysmal Ardern-Peters Regime and its actions.
As WOHB says, “that is ex-Prime Minister Helen Clark’s husband.
Let that sink in for one minute.”

Oh well, while the MSM and other silly buggers waste time on the Ardern child, it should be noted that the nation has reaped what was sewn. The whole porridge of liars, and worse, promised the gullible and the greedy (Redmelons Peters cult members, nurses and teachers and more) the earth and but, as expected by wiser heads, will deliver sack cloth and ashes.

  If you’re referring to the present government, then you’re incorrect. This government porridge (as you delightfully describe it) wasn’t elected by the people of this nation. It was appointed, totally against expectations, by a venile old drunk and serial liar who himself only managed to achieve 7% of the vote and doesn’t even hold an electorate seat.
  
  The nation didn’t deserve this, and it’s not of our doing at all. If National had any balls they would be campaigning on a platform of holding a referendum on MMP within their first term – or at least suggesting some viable change to the system to prevent this happening again. That is if they ever get into government again and if there’s a country left to govern.

In this case, the primary question asked exactly the right question, which meant Benson-Pope either had to tell the truth, leading to his resignation, or had he lied, face allegations of misleading Parliament. The child will have a priveliged lifestyle and so it should.

Just said farewell to a 22 year old guest from the UK, a graduate in psychology who is about to start work with a child welfare agency in England. Among the views she expressed were: non white offenders in prison are the result of white supremacist views in the UK and therefore not personally responsible for the crimes they committed; more terrorist attacks in the UK are perpetrated by whites than non whites; as it is easier from children to transition genders than adults, children should have the right to make that choice if they feel they have been born into the wrong body.

I have no doubt that this otherwise normal and pleasant young woman has been indoctrinated by the progressive Marxist lecturers at her University. There are already signs of this happening in our own Universities and we should be very worried.

  I’m also heartily sick of hearing about how the US and the EU et al deal with migrants and all their supposed failings in doing so – not to mention others like us with constant demands for taking them in.
  
  The essential problem lies in the parent countries – i.e. Mexico, Africa, and the ME. Why does the world not hold these countries accountable for creating and maintaining such awful societies that huge swathes of their populations want to run away? Why are they not responsible for paying the costs of them everywhere?
  
  The UN is a disgraceful con and waste of time. It does nothing for these people or the world, nothing to ameliorate the causes of desperate ‘migration’. The UN and the MSM rather attack those whose populations value their societies as if it’s somehow their fault – and berate them to alter those societies into the same kind the migrants have left behind.

So starting a week from now we will see at least 20 new owners moving in each week, and that’s just in the first year.     And hurray! Mr Twyford has announced that expressions of interest have been called for prefabrication initiatives. What I want to know, who is paying for the huge capital involved and what happens when Kiwibuild programme is finished.

        About China flatpacks, they have already shipped at least one small apartment block here ready to be plugged together. Included wiring, plumbing, furniture and I think whiteware (not sure about that). There were in life quality issues.   I had the same thoughts too, and wondering if we have some negotiators too willing to accept and turn a blind eye to a lot of “pre conditions”.
  
  Conditions, like how cucumbers and bananas are supposed to be shaped etc.
  Conditions regarding how the internet is to be run and accessed.
  Conditions to be more green, pay more carbon tax, etc.
  
  The EU will be looking for that “ring” to rule over all the kingdoms, even the one way out of “middle earth” down under.
  
  Many of the current government will see that it would allow another alternative to jump to, the EU, than just the UN.

  Can’t work out what’s going on because Simon Morton keeps saying he is just taking a break but makes it sound more final than that. Radio NZ has just gone steadily downhill over the last couple of years. Apart from the apalling Guyon Espiner posing as a maori and subjecting everyone to longer and longer rants in maori, they stopped Sounds Historical, one of their best programmes, Lloyd Scott has retired, they have taken on John Campbell and Karyn Hay and now this. What a sad excuse for what was once a wonderful station…a bit like the NZ Herald, really.

Companies are paying internet “trolls” to answer back to customers in a way the company couldn’t without generating controversy, new research has found.

Trolling – the art of getting people angry for the fun of it – has gone from being an annoyance to an industry, or perhaps both.

“Some more risky brands are paying trolls to pose as customer service reps to respond to complaints and questions in a way the brand couldn’t or wouldn’t usually,” says University of Canterbury doctoral student Maja Golf-Papez.

She found there’s a difference between trolls and cyber bullies.

“A troll typically has no intent to cause harm but is trying to provoke a reaction, whereas cyber bullying is targeted with the purpose of causing harm to an individual person.”

Academic supervisor and co-author Associate Professor Ekant Veer says Ms Golf-Papez’ research has proven not all trolls belong under bridges.

After posting eight years of record profits Commonwealth Bank has a record fine – the largest in Australian corporate history at NZ$760 million.

Australia’s financial intelligence unit AUSTRAC found the bank failed to flag suspicious transactions, breaching money laundering and anti-terror laws more than 53,000 times.

Every transaction over AU$10,000 must be reported to Australian authorities, but the bank’s Intelligent Deposit Machines reported nothing for three straight years.

In that period, the bank admits, millions of dollars were laundered to drug syndicates offshore. The penalty could’ve been larger, a maximum of more than AU$1 trillion.

  One of my ladies caught the skin of my willy in my zipper once nasska cause she thought she heard her father coming up the stairs! The pain was so severe I had to muffle my crying in between her ample breasts! 🙂

    Heh heh I can’t keep up with ya’ll, I saw ‘sex parties’, a willy story and a mention of haggis all in one quick scan. I stopped there breathless and excited and have to go do a quick weather scan. Off to Tahoe tomorrow. Dinner was great, included salmon and the aforesaid shrimp and grits. ‘Incitement to Violence’

Get it? The leaked Rotherham Royal Commission Report will never be shared now in NSW – because Vic Alhadeff thinks truth is an incitement to violence punishable by three years imprisonment.

You know what will incite violence? This legislation. Because if you can’t say anything, what is left?

Just so you understand the scale – David’s recent series of articles about high risk individuals with crime histories would be liable under this legislation. I don’t care what anyone says – it would be liable. I would be able to prosecute that matter with a reasonable assurance of success, knowing what this bill is designed to do – which is kill Free Speech and turn the whole of NSW into a Rabbi’s clergy – where now, just like in the Hasidic tradition, the top echelon of the top chosen people decide, by force, what people are allowed to think say and do.

Those men were all Polynesian, and the blogposts were clearly an incitement for individuals to which violence upon them, as members of a group, by suggesting they are incapable of rehabilitation and that they must be kept in prison.

There is so much I want to write, but I’m too dismayed and disheartened by this. This is a gut punch. That video from Stefan Molyneux pointing out data that Vic Alhadeff knows and wants to exploit – could now be considered an incitement to violence in NSW.

It points out true immigration cohort data.

NSW is now one of the most anti-free speech jurisdictions in the world.

We are all Tommy Robinson now. NZ is Rivendell.

I’m demoralised.

I didn’t realise that the NSW Liberals were capable of this level of sheer Judas betrayal of everything they say they stand for.

Just as an aside – note that the legislation says it’s now punishable by THREE YEARS IMPRISONMENT to say that someone, or any group, have AIDS.

That’s linked to recent efforts to ‘recognise human rights’ for the AIDS infested to give blood.

If you are a cancer patient, Dialysis, suffer sepsis – you now can’t trust blood from NSW and really Australia.

It is now punishable by THREE YEARS IMPRISONMENT to make true statements about an individual with Aids, and deny that individual the right to give blood.

Yeah – this is going to do the opposite of what Vic Alhadeff wanted.

If there is anything John Key showed, it’s that he, like Maori in Australia, shows how profoundly beneficial Jews can be when they give up their neuroses.

Because John Key in a TRILLION years would never have passed such a Nazi/Communist provision as this.

It destroys everything. Truth doesn’t matter. Whether an Incitement has occurred doesn’t matter. You go to jail for 3 years.

Now – it’s going to be illegal to make true statements in Australia about protected attributes.

I’m just dismayed. Really, this is like a declaration of war on free speech – and the Liberals pulled the trigger.

Okay? This isn’t about identity. DPF would fall afoul of these provisions. They rob everyone of the ability to make true statements that are politically incorrect – punishable by THREE YEARS IMPRISONMENT.

There was no need for this, none. They already have laws.

This is Tommy Robinson legislation – now, in NSW, the secret Genrikh Yagoda police can arrest you and take you away if you ever utter or give anyone any wrong-think anywhere – EVEN IF ITS TRUE, EVEN IF IT DOESN’T IMPACT ANYONE’S STATE OF MIND.

I told everyone here this would happen.

I’ll do a longer post tomorrow maybe. The ramifications of this legislation are simply catastrophic, and I’m too angry to think clearly.

It seems as though all the most garish propaganda and conspiracy theories are true.

New South Wales has gone from a relatively free state to one of the worst anti-free speech jurisdictions in the world, because everyone there got stabbed in the back Vic Alhadeff and his organization. This is all just first reading.

What a disgrace. And what a way to create real hostility to you when you say your aim is to try and prevent that.

He didn’t turn NZ into a Stasi Police state where true statements that don’t even have any impact were punishable by three years in prison. I still can’t believe it.

  s 179 (3) Aiding and Abetting Suicide
  
  A person who commits an offence against subsection (2) is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years.

  There’s many more – maybe the ‘least’ serious are the crimes of selling materials designed to aid commission of crimes, and treason.
  
  Downtick all you want. This happened, and it is what it is.
  
  You’re all conflating the reaction with the cause. I don’t care what those people do. They’re good people. But this, this is absolutely disgusting and now there will be reaction, which is a RESPONSE not a CAUSE for the end of free speech in Australia.

This seems about the worst possible month to be suggesting that anybody should try to emulate anything going on in America. The place seems to be going mad in ways no longer funny to laugh at from very far away.

So it’s a bit of a shame that the best lessons on infrastructure financing and affordable housing come from a few places in the United States that have really figured things out. If the exact same lessons had come from Canada, or the UK, or Estonia, Infrastructure New Zealand would have an easier time marketing its latest report.

If New Zealand is going to crack the problems of unaffordable housing, government here is going to have to look seriously at how the better parts of America finance infrastructure. Within the same country, you can find major urban areas like San Francisco that are as unaffordable as Auckland, others like Atlanta, or Houston, where housing remains very affordable – and plenty in-between.

In April, an Infrastructure New Zealand delegation visited Portland, Denver, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Francisco. Their report, “Enabling City Growth: Lessons from the USA”, was released last week. … read more via hyperlink above …

    The contrast is striking. In central Christchurch, Fletcher Living is taking forever to get going on its East Frame townhouse and apartment block development.
    
    Government and council have agreed that denser inner city housing is vital to making a success of the earthquake rebuild. Yet despite inking a deal with Fletcher to build nearly 1000 homes back in 2015, the first 20 properties won’t be finished until late this year.
    
    The buyers just don’t seem to be there for them. And so the East Frame development has been uphill all the way.
    
    However, take the road half an hour out of town to Lincoln and the story is the opposite. This once sleepy village has exploded with subdivisions. Its residential footprint is now 10 times what it was 20 years ago.
