Poll on electoral changes

Research NZ polled 1,000 NZers on possible electoral changes. The results are:

• Move from three to four year term – 61% yes, 25% no = +36% net support
• Introduce compulsory voting – 40% yes, 46% no = -6% net opposition
• Lower voting age to 16 – 20% yes, 72% no = -52% net opposition

I’m in the majority or plurality for all of those.
