Make up your minds: this used to be dangerous misinformation not so long ago. It’s true because fact-checkers told me. These guys have been given the green light to talk about it now. Moral? If someone tells you something is dangerous misinformation, they are doing so to suppress the truth for purely political reasons. This regular back-peddling is precisely why I am deeply sceptical about most claims coming from those in authority.

  Try 25,000 assuming 0.5% die and only if the entire “team” of 5,000,000 get Chinese flu at pretty much the same time. How many people die every year in New Zealand 30-50,000? So many were going to die anyway.

      Those facts have disappeared down the memory hole a long time ago, I can assure you a very small percentage of people remember them. The average person CANNOT track even one metric over time, that is why politicians get voted in regardless of their previous broken promises. Its about control of opinion not facts and the elites know this, they have studied Edward Bernays carefully. Give his work a read, it is a good idea to learn how things work and what motivates large groups of people, but the problem is.. then you know.
      
      I’m an engineer and deal with data and trends a bit, in the beginning of the pandemic I tracked the CDC data closely and noticed that numbers seemed to be over inflated, I sent the raw data to a friend and asked him to look it over, his reply was, ok, so what if it is over inflated? What are you going to be able to do with this information? I had no answer. I know now it was used to produce a narrative, i know that CNN placed the death counter on the screen to keep viewers enticed (their technical director admitted to this), I know that during emergencies, emergency proclamations will pass with ease and if you can make things look just a bit worse, that dials up the fear and greases the wheels politically.

  Makes one think does it not, I have been fooled by too many governments that told me “Its for your own good”. The lab leak narrative initially went the same way as the negative side effects from the vaccine and alternatives to the vaccine, if you mentioned the lab you were un-personed on YT and FB.
  
  It has recently come to light that google funded Peter Daszak’s Eco health alliance which in turn funded the wuhan lab some $36M I think, we do not know how much google spent, but their name is on a lot of research papers from Mr Daszak.. possibly tax write off for charity.
  
  There are videos about the internets of Mr Daszak from a few years back where he explains how they do gain-of-function work on corona viruses, and how easy it is, totally non related to what is happening today of course. The email from Daszak to Fauci where he thanked Fauci for dismissing the lab leak theory made me take notice.. Then lol, above lolz Peter, as part of the WHO team, was sent to Wuhan to go investigate the possibility of a lab leak from the very same lab where he told us, just a few years ago how easy it was to do gain of function experiments.. also Daszak “No bats in Wuhan lab”, meanwhile video emerges of, you guessed it BATS at the Wuhan lab.

    Thumeclius, I remember a few weeks into the “Covid Scare” I emailed HDPA and said to her “What’s the bet it was manufactured in a Lab, there is already a vaccine and someone’s going to make Mega Bucks”. She emailed me back and said it was very conspiratorial of me. He who laughs last – haha.

      I am currently so angry with our govt and media in cohoots over this whole covid bullcrap. Its on our radio, tv internet, its in every shop, its everywhere. I think though I am mostly angry for all the dimwits who have fallen for it and are clamouring…no begging to be jabbed with something so experimental its been given a free pass legally. The stupidity of the masses is frightening. Yet I have hope. Most everyone I talk to in my circle (rural), wont touch these jabs with a bargepole. Not my kids, my friends, or the people I know through my work. The govt knows it too. So the propaganda started on the radio. Some dude pretending to be a farmer reckons he is the 2ic on a sheep and beef farm. Covid shutdown was terrible…please get your shots.
      Except noone calls you a 2ic on a sheep n beef property. You call yourself a shepherd or head shepherd. Or stock manager. Just more bullcrap.

Okay. So, with Jon Stewart’s permission, we can go back to calling it the Wuhan Flu now? Because I distinctly remember the American media and entertainment industry furiously calling people racist for saying the exact same stuff that he is saying here now. But it’s all okay because Jon Stewart playing the most catastrophic global event in the last 60 odd years for some laughs?

I miss Jon Stewart.

Meh. Was this a Clown-Nose-On or Clown-Nose-Off performance?

In any case Jon Stewart spawned a bunch of wannabees from his old show, including John Oliver and none other than the partisan POS hosting this show, Colbert.

Stewart played the key role in destroying what was a genuinely good political talk show, Crossfire – which was loud and OTT but at least had all sides involved – by bitching about “partisan hacks” and replacing it with his one-man snarkfest that ultimately came to represent only the Democrat/Left side on all issues.

What’s funny is that none other than Stewart has come to regret creating his monster, and the mini-me’s it has cloned, to the detriment of actual political news shows.

What’s not funny is that this “cut-through” on this issue did not happen until a Man Of The Entertainment Left did it, and of course the massive pushback that has happened to many of his (former) fanbois, who went wild on FaceTwit with all their sads about how their guy had gone rogue. Both of which shows once again the power these pricks now wield.

The truly funny part is watching one of those mini-me clones, and partisan hack, an increasingly shocked Colbert, try to shut Stewart down, including dumping the Ultimate Snark on him of asking when he started voting for that arch conspiracy theorist, Ron Johnson (R – natch).

There is a very disturbing aspect to all of this – that something that everyone with any brains knew to be a strong/most likely possibility (lab leak of wuflu) was roundly dismissed by the gatekeeping institutions of the legacy media and govt until one of their insiders (eg stewart) gives the nod (with assent of governing cabal) and then they pretend like they always said it was a possibility and didn’t run gas-lighting disinformation campaigns of ‘racist’ ‘conspiracy ‘ etc.

Jon Stewart’s performance and Colbert’s response here were clearly contrived – play acting, like professional wrestlers as organs of a big, sick, propaganda machine that has decided it can no longer maintain the lie.

Govt and Legacy media are are no longer fit for purpose as part of society’s distributed ‘sense making’ apparatus. They have been co-opted by various interest groups, chiefly the left and big tech so that they are now permanently gas-lighting the population on myriad topics.

    Our government and media? I think they are just stupid. Our scientists? Hendry, Baker, Wiles etc them lot I cant explain. They point to the facts…ie pfizer trials….you go to the trials….so much is not done, underdone.
