In October 2020, Dr Andrew Hill was tasked by WHO to report on the dozens of new studies from around the world suggesting Ivermectin could be a remarkably safe and effective treatment for Covid-19. His work was funded by Unitaid which, naturally, receives funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. On 18th January Dr Hill’s report was published on a pre-print server. Strangely, the core findings in the report data were extremely supportive of the benefits of Ivermectin, but the conclusion was diametrically opposed. From this point onwards, Ivermectin became demonised in public discourse.

Last week, three contributors to this paper published an Open Letter to Dr Hill (video, 18mins) which I highly recommend to you. To her credit, Dr Tess Lawrie politely and determinedly applies the borax to Dr Hill, and it’s clear to any viewer that he is extremely uncomfortable about his being compromised.

So, who changed the conclusion, and published the paper? It wasn’t the author, Dr Andrew Hill. An intrepid blogger – “The Digger” – accessed different versions of published documents, interrogated the meta-data, and found critical edits were undertaken by one “Dr Andrew Owen”. Dr Owen’s digital fingerprints are all over the document despite not being an author or reviewer. He is a professor of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, and a co-director of Centre of Excellence in Long-acting Therapeutics (CELT).

Two days before the now-changed Dr Hill paper was published Unitaid made a $40m grant to CELT for work on a project that involved a start-up company of which Dr Owen is a top shareholder. Dr Owen is donkey deep in all this, with rivers or research money flowing his way from organisations that stood to benefit from Ivermectin being side-lined. He has received research grants and/or travel bursaries from Merck, Bristol–Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, Abbott, ViiV Healthcare, Boehringer Ingelheim and Janssen Pharmaceuticals. This is corruption. A handful of dangerous, greedy people have built their private wealth on the death and suffering of others. Blood on their hands. How many people have needlessly died?

      Nice worthy people may harbour doubts about vaccine efficiency.
      But they will still firmly believe and justify that all had to be vaccinated to prevent hospitals being over run with sick people – with many dying in scarce ICU beds.
      And, or course, the alleged run-down of the hospitals, lack of trained ICU staff and beds is completely the fault of the previous National Party government.
      That is now I would spin it if I were a Labour Party propagandist – such as Minister Megan Woods for example.

        They can believe what they like. We had an influenza pandemic in 2009 which hopsitalised over 1100 people and affected 1 in 3 children. Despite the absence of lockdowns, mandates, passes and masks, and although we didn’t rely on a vaccine, the sky didn’t fall in. It’s truly remarkable that our natural immunity proved so effective.

      And 200,000 kiwis caught that ‘flu, and there were something like 40 deaths directly atributed to that ‘flu – no bullshit figures of ‘died with…’
      I really wonder – and it concerns me – that this so called pandemic is less problematic in the way of infections & deaths, and yet we are still pummelled by ” today, another grim day with 9 Covid related deaths, bringing the total who died WITH Covid to 132″ – or some such bullshit.

    I’m not sure. I expect there will be local attempts to flush out the culpable, but without seeing a burning to the ground of intrinsically corrupt edifices like the FDA, CDC and WHO it’s all for naught.
    
    A trigger for significant global public outrage might be learning that these injectables have irreversibly altered DNA and/or that they have resulted in sub-clinical harm that starts to manifest in mortality statistics over the next 5+ years. There is, sadly, some evidence of these things already.

      The Narrative to cover vaccine injury is already in motion; Long Covid. (Aww they named it after me.)
      While some anti vaxxers were noting/claiming that Warned and Marsh were both boosted within two weeks of their untimely deaths, there are articles in the MSM noting/claiming Warned had had COVID twice and this caused the heart damage that ultimately ended his life.

  While Ivermecton has been been controversial Vitamin D has not. The Israeli study IIRC showed 8 times more hospitalisation with low Vitamin D.
  No doubt the messaging is consistent in the MSM then, check your D3, get plenty of sun, make sure of good ventilation, avoid high viral loading? No?

    True, but remember VitD3 is not net protective, rather low levels of it are indicative of increased risk. I’ve been supplementing D3+zinc and despite being covid recovered will probably continue this throughout winter.

    I think the CV19-VitD thing is really just the tip of the iceberg.
    
    The pharma industry is massive and immensely profitable. For it to flourish we need:
    * Suppression of low-cost alternatives.
    * A whole lot of customers: sick people, or at least people who are fearful of getting sick.
    
    VitD is an excellent example. The benefits are in no way controversial. It is well known that VitD deficiency is linked to a whole raft of diseases. Take a list of medical issues common to Maori and you will see that they are almost all linked to Vit D shortage – from general immunity and colon cancer to mental health issues.
    
    Yet where’s the guidance to Maori to take Vit D supplements?
    
    I am only highlighting Maori because there is all the hype about them being poorly served. This one thing could improve the situation dramatically.
    
    However Vit D deficiency is not just a Maori issue. We’re not operating our bodies the way they have evolved for. We spend very little time outdoors. We eat differently. Both of these factors impact Vit D and our health.
    
    So why do we not hear this? Could it be that a sicker population are more dependent and then need more expensive treatment which is more profitable?
    
    Could it also be that those in power in the health system (academia and service providers) get their power and resources from sick people, so are less motivated to really look for simple cures?
    
    Now please do not misunderstand me. I am very pro a lot of things the medical system does. I would be dead many times over without medical intervention. But that does not make it all a good industry.

I wonder if ‘funding’ has found its way into any of our global political insititutions and this has any presuasive qualities for those elected representatives who similarly sidelined, banned or ridiculed Ivermectin?

And relentlessly pushed the ‘safe and effective’ but untrialled and unpublished alternatives to a Nobel-Prize winning (and cost-effective) drug whihc had an established track record?

  So I’m not vaccinated, caught the covid from fully vaccinated people.
  
  To be fair it was very mild and just a little bit disappointing.
  
  So for those that got vaccinated, you had 1 shot then there was some confusion on the time frame for the 2nd shot, then 6,5,4,3 months later you lined up for a 3rd shot, have you had your 4th shot yet?
  
  My natural immune system dealt with the covid and I am assuming gave me some strong long lasting antibodies.
  
  You have tried and failed to boost your immune system through a vaccine, that has clearly been not fit for purpose, now I’m not a medical experts and I have absolutely nothing to back this up, but how would you feel if it turned out the you had compromised your natural immunity.

    I note that Iceland’s chief epidemiologist has given up on the vaccine and has told folks that natural immunity will be the way to shut down their epidemic of covid infection.
    
    In his memo to the Minister of Health laying out the rationale for dropping restrictions, Gudnason said the main way out of the epidemic is natural herd immunity, or when enough people are immune to the virus that its transmission ceases. In order to achieve this, Gudnason wrote, “as many people as possible need to be infected with the virus” because vaccines alone are not enough.

  At the link, the Commerce Commission claims that the two main grocery chains made excess profits (calculated I don’t know how) of $430m, which is an impressive total but, assuming all 5m NZers buy from them, is $86 per annum per capita, or just $1.65 a week, or $8.27 for a family of 5, which isn’t to be sneezed at, but isn’t a lot if protein, fresh fruit and vegetables are your priority.
  
  And could a third grocery chain, eschewing excess profits, undercut the existing chains by enough to capture sufficient market share to justify the huge capital gamble necessary to get established?

    Good point. The actual numbers are 1.86 million NZ households spending $22 billion annually, a bit over $12,000 per household per year.
    
    The “excess profit” on that $12,000 will be $230 ($430M / 1.86M).
    
    Now consider 3% of excess inflation robs a household earning $100,000 a year (a bit below the average) of $3000 a year. Why wouldn’t Labour be rushing to point the finger at supermarkets?

      But that will only allow Elon to come to the rescue, send up a Dragon capsule, to not only to rescue the astronaut, but also to push the ISS back up into it’s normal orbit.

  It transpires that currently there are two Russians & an American on the space station. Despite agreements, the Russians are refusing to transport the American back to earth.
  
  All you can say is it is par for the course, with Putin’s signature on an agreement being as worthless as the words that come from Jacinda’s mouth or the speakers at the “Podium of Truth”. Spot the similarity!

So it appears everyone is cool with a gang pulling a member of the public out of their car, beating them to a pulp and then carrying on.

The police don’t give a rats as the same gang is having a get together in Papatoetoe today, the merc with no mouth, Mitchell has said nothing and no condemnation from any other political party.

This is disgusting. In any other first world country there would be a police response. Here we just ask for witnesses. After seeing what they did with the victim no one is going to testify.

Fuck this government and their cuddling up to gangs.

    Perhaps it’s time to do what Simon Bridges once advocated for which is to “smash the gangs”.
    
    Police action at the Parliament protest showed the Police are quite capable of “smashing” people (not seen since 1981 – that’s on you Cindy, all because you refused to talk), so could “cuddles by consent” Coster send in 100 officers to the Tribesman first, ask them to send out the guilty and if they don’t then “smash” them up and make an example out of them?
    
    I suggest it would be a deterrent to other gangs to better behave themselves (eg one hard-out Policing action now could provide dividends also meaning the Police may finally have the gangs respect)!

  “Covid deaths” include:
  
  1. Those who die of something completely different – ie a car accident or shot in the head- but their body tested positive for covid.
  
  2. Those who have significant other comorbidities that are likely to be the “only reason” they died – but had been tested positive for covid.
  
  3. Those for whom Covid complicates an already sick body, and perhaps hastens the death process – much like pneumonia being known as the “old man’s friend”.
  
  4. Those with compromised immune systems which have difficulty dealing with any infection. Covid comes along and cannot be handled.
  
  People with good health don’t die from Covid.
  
  People with good health may not even notice it – the term being asymptomatic.
  
  Why is this basic information not communicated by our “health experts”? Why is there not a huge public campaign to improve general levels of health? Lose Weight etc. Also use of Vit-D & Zinc.
  
  My only answer is that they are not being “health experts”, they are being something else.
  
  Sadly my conclusion is that they are simply advocates for external business and political interests.
  
  Given the information we now have (and more to come I assume) from the “Pfizer Papers”, heads should roll. And I’m talking about Ashley, Soiuxie, Rod, Shaun, and Michael.

I remember when

Just been supporting the local cafe scene.
Spent some time watching the use of the app and they were also using vaccination passports.
While the attention to the passport seemed rigorous, the use of the app was at best scarce.
It made me wonder what the science said.
Do you prevent more covid cases if you insist on passports or when they use the app.
The sort of thing Shaun Hendy could be gainfully employed doing.

Just reading the local Neighbourly entry stating that their earliest appointment for a dental hygienist was September.
Doctor visits can mean a wait of three to six weeks especially if considered non-urgent.
Why is the government racing to introduce 3 Waters.

@Lee… I begged anyone we know with children, not to get their kids jabbed. I even begged Dr Shane Reti. To his credit, he did reply saying he would take it into account. I didn’t bother emailing angry little.
Bit harder with adults. So many coerced by the podium of bullsh*t, plus many other having to get jabbed to keep jobs. Like our rego nurse daughter. There is a lot of ‘buyer remorse’ in the jabbed community out there.

Are National’s proposals for tax cuts the party’s strategy for the emerging inflation storm?

That’s what Liam Dann says in a light-weight piece about the problem in the Herald today:

The only evident plan to deal with inflation is the Reserve Bank’s cycle of interest rate rises – which will do nothing to ease the fears of anyone with a mortgage.

Then last Sunday, Luxon offered another solution – tax cuts.

Has Dann’s got National wrong. Or is Luxon suggesting they will help curb inflation?

That would mean National rejects a monetarist approach to the threat.

NZ is in short-term and long-term trouble, because socialism is normalised here.

The shortages and inflation that we see aren’t a bug of socialism – they are a feature.

Of course, the socialists will argue that the inflation is “foreign”, and forget the money printing, central bank interest rate inaction, and the huge “Covid” lolly scramble by Robertson. Per capita, we had the second most expensive Covid response in the world. Fuel to the inferno was added with huge year on year increases in minimum wage and benefits (for example, sick leave).

Socialism meant that were already on the path to poverty – the war in Ukraine has simply quickened our speed along this road.

If National wins the next election (I think that they will) the main issue will be that the media has been completely taken over by socialists. Maybe National wins despite this hostility – once. This won’t happen easily again. The media will chip away at any new government, and continue to advocate socialism, until they win back power again. New Zealand cannot afford a socialist shock every few years.

For the sake of the country, National need to crush the normalisation of socialism.

Nationals most important task (with ACT) will be to break the socialist monopoly in the mainstream media. They need to be preparing plans for this now. In the first term, National cannot afford to sit on their hands on this issue.

Privatising all State media would be a good start. Eliminate all media subsidies. The mainstream media that survive are unlikely to be hardcore socialists – these people can’t run businesses. This is why all socialists hide in non competitive jobs such as academia.

My fear would be that Mr Luxon is another John Key. Alas, Mr Key is partly responsible for our current state of affairs, by allowing socialists to take over all of our institutions (media, academia, courts etc).

Hopefully, Mr Luxon won’t repeat Mr Key’s mistakes.

  A colleague in Christchurch recently dropped 85 000 on a BMW EV. He was laughing at the subsidy he received. BTW his second car is a V8 Land cruiser.

    Seems it’s worked in the case of your colleague.

We had sudden death in Hong Kong 15 days ago. A very difficult place to get in and out of at the moment so we’ve had to support our daughter & 2 small children from afar. In the good old days, we could’ve got there within 48 hours. Our girl has had to deal with this horrible situation on her own. She’s had to identify his unembalmed body pre & post autopsy then had to re-identify his body prior to the funeral director uplifting his body. It’s been absolutely bizarre and our girl is traumatised beyond belief. Her last wish was to dress his embalmed body but because decomposition had set in, that wasn’t possible. He was finally cremated 12 days after his death. We have so many tears for her and the small children. ???
