Can anyone confirm that the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has addressed the bullying accusation from a staff member working in Anna Lorck Labour MP’s office or is this bullying complaint going to end up like the complaints of a sexual predator working out of the Prime Minister’s Office in 2018.
But as we know the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is such a brilliant leader in her opinion mainly that the broom would have had plenty of use over the last week to cover up all other complaints apart from those against Gaurav Sharma.
The other thing I find irritating is Kieran McNulty having the right to speak on Gaurav Sharma and bulling while the wayward MP has been threatened with expulsion from Labour if he makes anymore accusations.

      He’s hardly a good advertisement for the integrity of the process. His basic argument is that everyone in the Labour party agrees, and Jacinda Ardern and Grant Robertson back him that the allegations aren’t true, therefore case closed.

    I thought Parliamentary Services employed the Staff…and should have dealt with the employment matter… not Jacinda Ardern and her lackies.
    
    Sharma made specific complaints about why he didn’t want to continue employing a staffer..
    
    Issues I raised involved staff being drunk at work, not showing up to work, being sent on leave without any notice or approval, and a significant wastage of taxpayer’s money.

She lost that in the middle when the subject changed, then it came back when his name came up again later on. Talk about forcing back her true feelings. Is this ongoing media obsession with Covid a genuine reflection of public concern, or is it just some of the 122 journalists, who were supported into non-existent jobs by a Government bribe, trying desperately to justify their continued employment? I see that the Government is now saying that the money was dished out to support the media through Covid, but given that it actually created jobs, it seems that it was more to build up a cadre of pro-Government and pro-fear cheerleaders. Or has no-one in the media pointed that out yet?

  The government funded media obsession is being cranked up to the max to try and undermine the upcoming protest march on Parliament.
  Will be interesting to see if any parliament representatives actually come out and meet with the protestors next Tuesday the 23rd of August.
  Never forget, the reason they said they did not meet the protesters in February was because the occupation was illegal, however not one of them met with the huge number of protesters in November and December 2021, the PM then claiming that “they did not represent New Zealanders”, this despite the later accepted view that 30% of NZ supported the protests.

  A leading UK NHS consultant cardiologist Dr Aseem Malhorta (Google his credibility) who is a pro-vaccine advocate, is asserting concerns since analysing data supporting the Pfizer Comirnaty efficacy claims.
  
  Dr Malhorta asserts that the Pfizer trial data shows serious shortcomings, and that especially since (virus evolution to) Omicron, there is now potentially more risk of succumbing to an adverse side effect than receiving the purported health benefits.
  
  The NZ Government’s PIJF paid media will simply never cover a story like this, despite similar findings now emerging across the world. Clearly the PIJF misrepresents the intended purpose: Government Interest Journalism Fund.

  KK – The worm truly has turned. For the first time in over 2 years I have hope now that truth will indeed prevail. It has been among the darkest periods of my life and at times I despaired due to the power structure and huge volumes of money and propaganda that has been thrown at this artificially created disaster.
  
  I have often said that truth will always win out but at times doubted it, along with my own sanity. But I have a very strong feeling in my heart and soul that we have crested that hill and the next year or two will see an increasing influx of truth. Many of those who helped maintain this narrative see that it is collapsing like the house of cards that it is. Many will jump ship.
  
  It is already happening, particularly in mainstream media. Slowly, but one after another, high profile commentators are either waking up and seeing the truth for the first time, or are realising the game is up and switching sides in a hurry.

    I wholeheartedly agree Clan. But sadly the corporate and state sponsored media hacks that continue to employ (wittingly or unwittingly) ‘certain editorial constraints’ are just hiding us all from the truth.
    
    I can understand the temptation of a large financial bribe, but certainly not if the consequences are poisioning the (societal) well.
    
    If lessons about the covid response aren’t discussed and analysed, it’s the perpetrators own children and grandchildren that will potentially be impacted in the future.
    
    One thing for sure and whether we like it or not, eventually all humans reap what we sow.

    Those who prevented people from getting early treatment with HCQ or IVM are responsible for a number of deaths from Covid-19. The evidence is there that they are efficacious so they cannot plead ignorance. As they are responsible for their deaths they should be prosecuted.       A – No, no, we haven’t applied that before in NZ. For anyone who doesn’t take up an effective, and tested and safe vaccine when available, that will come at risks to them.
      
      Q – Will you have sanctions against those who don’t take the vaccination?
      
      A – We haven’t done that because of our levels of vaccination in NZ, it isn’t about anti vaccination, it’s about vax hesitancy. No penalties if you don’t,
      
      So no penalties if you don’t?
      
      I see no reason to do that.
      
      Her exact words when asked if there would be any mandates for non compliance were:
      
      “No, and we haven’t for any vaccination in New Zealand applied penalties in that way,”

    Raphael – what actually makes Baker an “epidemiologist”? What qualifies someone as an epidemiologist? Maybe it’s time to take a closer look at Baker’s qualifications and why he is held up as an “expert” in this area.
    
    Apparently this is what is involved in actually becoming an “epidemiologist”.

    Let’s look at his actual qualifications.
    
    Baker’s primary qualification is MB ChB. This is a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. Good start. He trained to be a doctor.
    
    He has a Diploma in Public Health.

It is relevant and practical, with graduates being able to identify and understand public health issues, and depending on which optional papers are taken, gain the skills to analyse and use health data, design appropriate health promotion strategies, plan and evaluate public health interventions, work collaboratively with professionals and the community, appreciate resource allocation and cost issues in health and uphold ethical standards.”
    
    Sounds like an admin role rather than a medical role to me.
    
    He has another Diploma – in Obstetrics.
    
    “This diploma is aimed at improving the standard of obstetric and gynaecological care provided by general practitioners working in the community.”
    
    Nice, hardly relevant to epidemiology, and he doesn’t work in the community.
    
    He also has the impressive FAFPHM FRACMA after his name. What do they mean?
    
    “Fellow of the Australian Faculty of Public Health Medicine”
    “Fellow Royal Australian College of Medical Administrators”
    
    Reading through his Wikipedia page it looks like he initially studied to be a doctor. It looks like he quickly moved to the public service trough and worked his qualifications to suit that career path.
    
    “He originally wanted to specialise in emergency medicine or psychiatry, but got a job in Wellington as a medical advisor for the Minister of Health. In that role he worked on the response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and helped to set up a needle exchange programme.”
    
    He has achieved admirably in climbing the public service ladder. Top of the trough.
    
    Now take a look at his achievements to date. All are academia related.
    He wrote a paper many years ago advocating NZ being locked down, a tropical paradise in a world of unicorns and rainbows. While the rest of the world dropped like flies, NZers lived amazing lives, the world demanded our products, people desperately wanted to be here and Michael Baker was the author and creator of this Utopia.

    Baker is as fake as Fauci. Kary Mullis invented the PCR test. As he has said publicly, the PCR test is an excellent tool, but not when it is used improperly as it has been during covid, and not when the meaningless results interpreted to suit an agenda and are used to implement draconian policies. The test was never meant to be used in this way.
    
    As Kary Mullis famously said of Fauci:

    I think the coming summer will be a real test for our patience. If these mask mandates are still in place come the holiday season and warm weather it will be hideous.
    
    It has become farcical. I went to the pools yesterday. Changing room had about 20 guys getting changed with not much space. Not a mask in sight. Then when departing, everyone puts on their mask to walk past the reception desk.

Then I get angry at the people responsible for this and I don’t like being angry. I don’t like the negativity caused by those responsible for this fiasco.

        It is not about ‘winning’. This blog is primarily a forum for discussing politics and public policy. If the place had been ‘invaded’ by the “anti vax and VFF brigade’, I would depart.
        
        I have championed the benefits of childhood vaccination my entire adult life. I have an excellent understanding of what the world was like before widespread vaccines developed by brilliant scientists.
        
        I was initially excited about the COVID ‘vaccine’ because I took the claims by Pfizer at face value. However it quickly became apparent that – at best – the vaccines were pretty useless, and for many groups, particularly young and fit men, risky.

      Yes. Candidates background and beliefs and plans are of interest, so lets look at Stuff’s article which looks to me like defamation.
      
      Stuff claims these eight Sovereign nz candidates are “covid-19 conspiracy theorists” . But it turns out there is no links to VFF and the sovereign leader says Vaccines are unrelated to the job of local government.
      Stuff make a number of smears and associations but their central conspiracy theorist claim seems to relate to these candidates “pushing debunked claims about United Nations sustainability goals, known as Agenda 30.”
      
      So is it justified to call them conspiracy theorists prior to an election, what evidence do they have:.
      
      1. Social Media: Nothing. No evidence. Stuff says there is little on social media. And the candidate rejects Stuff’s insinuation anything was “scrubbed”. (more unsubstantiated smears introducing the word scrubbed smears from stuff)
      
      2. Candidates Direct Answers: The Sovereign party says: “I believe we need to stop using words like conspiracy theory so loosely and do a little research ourselves,” he said.
      
      “Their views on vaccines overlap with “wellness” and natural health movements and concerns that either the UN or the World Economic Forum is working to deprive citizens of autonomy.”
      
      (Where did Stuff get this summary of “their views.” Can we get a direct quote either from the person or social media. What did the candidates specifically say about WEF and depriving citizens of autonomy? They just try and link it to some other unassociated group.)
      
      In answer to stuff questions: “He rejects any UN Agenda, developed by un-elected foreign entities, from becoming law without a referendum”. (Seems reasonable)
      
      Stuff retorts “However, Agenda 30 (and its forerunner Agenda 21) aren’t laws or treaties, and are non-binding, subject to each country’s commitment.”
      
      So Stuff’s central argument for calling these people conspiracists is that it is non-binding..
      
      Then Stephen Judd from Fact Aotearoa says, “his organisation recently became aware of Sovereign.
      Stephen Judd says,
      “The conspiracy theory is essentially that shadowy forces, working through the United Nations want to reduce the human population and achieve ‘one world’ government and in some way, the UN and the forces behind that, are trying to control local government to achieve this outcome,” he said.
      
      ( So why is Stephen being interviewed regarding Sovereigns policies and viewpoints. on the UN. Where did Stephen get this information about Sovereign given stuff said there was nothing on social media. Is this just a theory he has seen elsewhere on the UN and he is ascribing it to Sovereign. Or is this something Sovereign has said. Citation needed.)
      
      These are very serious smears against these peoples reputations. Where did stuff and FACT get their info. The whole thing is a direct attack on our democracy.

        Mr Pakes is too thick to perceive any difference between a sitting MP, member of The NZLP with an allegiance to the Government as one of the bound caucus members and a one time candidate for another political party nearly two years ago at a General Election.
        It is well understood that anyone with backing as a Local body candidate from the NZLP is bound to accept that party has an ongoing alliance and allegiance.
        Kinda suggested anyway by Tony with 33 green, zero red and Mr Pakes with zero green and 25 red, at time of commenting, not perfect but rather conclusive aye.
        It is also well established that The NZ National Party eschews any party connection to local body candidates.

The PM won’t be happy if she reads Rachel Smalley’s column at the Today FM website this morning; it cuts to the chase. She reckons the government is far too loose with its spending, and after some pretty strong criticism of the disastrous polytechnic merger, she ends thus:

There are over 300 programmes which will be replaced with 47 unified programmes. It should come together in four months but suddenly they’re $100 million short. That is a huge deficit. How does that happen? How are you a bit short to the tune of $100 million?

That’s not inflation, people. That is incompetence.

Yet another case of too much hui and not enough do-ey.

The chair and the acting CEO have appeared before the education select committee – they’ve apologised to Chris Hipkins, the Education Minister.

But here is the thing. There is still no operating model for the mega polytech.

And that means staff don’t know where they’ll be working, if they’ll be working, how their future will roll out and if they’ll have a job.

Why don’t we value our people? They will leave – why would you stay when there’s been a major budget blowout and you are supposed to work for a new structure that has no operating model, they’re $100 million short, the CEO’s resigned, they can’t reveal who will lose their jobs yet, and everything begins on January 1.

Great idea but as with so many policies under this government — there’s no execution. Sound familiar? Kiwibuild, anyone? Or the cost of living payment that’s gone to all and sundry?

Speaking of which, Nicola Willis, National’s deputy leader, posted a message last night from a tax agent who has a couple of clients in China.

And the clients in China contacted her because they’ve received the cost of living payment. They don’t live here, and they file tax returns every year because they have investment properties. They own investment properties, and we’ve paid them the cost of living payment while they live in China.

There have now been millions paid out in error to people who are ineligible for the cost of living payment.

Ms Smalley is right on the money, as it were, and I’m more than happy to help her hashtag #StopTheSpend get some traction.

However it’s likely to be nothing but a futile gesture, given this government’s addiction to spending money, and in particular to wasteful spending. It worries me though that my as-yet-unborn grandchild, and probably their children too, are going to be saddled with Grant Robertson’s debt.

      I doubt Cheney expects to win, or even come close. But I won’t be surprised if she runs as a “voice of conscience” spoiler.
      
      Realistically about 10% of Republican voters align with Cheney. They voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020, perhaps half-heartedly. They think January 6 was an insurrection and attempted coup. They look at recent events like Trump holding classified documents. They think Trump, and Trumpism, is a clear and present danger to the US constitutional order.
      
      She knows she can be a rallying point for that cohort. It’s not enough to win the nomination but it’s enough to do a kamikaze mission from.
      
      And … if those 10%-ish of traditional GOP voters don’t vote for Trump in 2024 he’ll struggle to win the Presidential race. He may be the front-runner to be the Republican candidate, but I don’t think he can win the 2024 election itself.

        And right on cue … today the US Federal District Court released two more documents from the docket for the M-A-L search warrant. The description of the Espionage Act charge reads “Wilful retention of national defense information”.
        
        My advice to Trumpists is to be cautious about these charges. I note that GOP Senators are conspicuously not commenting on this case. I suspect that’s because they know what the individual documents are, and why Trump has been so determined not to return them.

Jacinda Ardern has a a Bachelor of Communication Studies (BCS) in politics and public relations (although just from Waikato University) and is internationally famed as a brilliant empathetic leader

And Dr Gaurav Sharma has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Auckland – and through that and actual practice, should have a fair grasp of psychology – and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University

Sharma has had “interventions” in staff difficulties over 18 months and considerable effort on his part to communicate problems.
Then the full mental force of the Labour Caucus was applied to the problem – a “secret” 8pm meeting, and then a further “official” meeting next day and rejected and isolated Dr Sharma.

And they are running the country?

And now will Sharma’s vote – supposedly representative of the people who voted him into office (personal electoral vote, not party vote) – be undemocratically taken from him, or can he vote independent of the Labour Party.

This can really spoil a shower, but still I guess the choice was mine.

  With Dr Sharma being suspended from Labour’s caucus, he is no longer under the Whips, and can vote how he chooses when he is present in the House. When he is absent from the House, it is up to him as to who gets his proxy vote, and in fact he can choose not to vote on issues when he is not present for the debate.

    As you know under normal circumstances parties in block. The exception being conscience issues, which are well known.
    Our system wouldn’t work if members were able to freely cross the floor on any issue without repercussions.
    If Dr Sharma started voted against the party line, or S.U. for that matter, they would find it hard justifying not being permanently deleted from their party.
    I’m picking both of them will be back again; although in the case of the doctor he’ll be gone one way or the other.

    Not quite correct. While suspended, you are still part of the Party, so are bound by that commitment. If he votes against the government, he would almost certainly be expelled.
    Maurice Williamson was suspended for a while in 2004. His vote remained with the whip. After a time of penance he was readmitted, and became a Minister outside Cabinet in 2008.

The government might as well say ‘meh I want this and I have x on my team, you’ve only got y on your team so suck it up’. ‘Votes’ implies some choice. I really am sick and tired of stats being abused and turned into lies for the CV19 fear mongering.

Oes noes, look at all the CV19 positive people in hospital!

Well I was one of them. I was admitted to hospital for less than 24 hours. I was tested with PCR and came up positive – just remnants from a previous infection a few weeks before. So add one to the tally even though I was not really positive and certainly was not there because of CV19.

And there were approx 12 others in the ward that were positive. Most of those had come in negative and had got infected in hospital. None of those was there because of CV19.

So of the 13 or so positive cases on one ward, not a single one was there because of CV19. All were incidentally infected (or even no longer infected).

Oes noes, look at the dead! Ok, I don’t know all the cases of deaths. I only know one: my mother. She was in terminal care (as were the first 10 to die in Chch). She was not put in hospital by CV19 and she didn’t die from it but from the cancer that was ripping through her body and her 84 year-old heart that had suffered a lifetime of abuse due to morbid obesity.

Now I am sure there are some who really are in hospital because of CV19. I am sure there are some who dies because of CV19 too.

But I’ll bet they are far fewer than you’d think.

A couple of days ago, I posted an open question on KB for Wayne Brown (Akld Mayoral Candidate) asking if:

a. If he would commit to reverting our roadways for use by Motor Transport, and
b. If he would commit to ceasing the granting of consents for building Multi-Story Apartment Blocks on quarter-acre sections.

Someone on KB asked me to post any reply I received from Wayne. Well, here it is:

Cycleways that do not disrupt things and cost no more than $200/m rather than $12000 as per now are ok

Multi storey buildings with no carparks make no sense but you can thank the government plus National for that rule.

Looks as though $tuff has taken it upon itself to hunt out and identify “unsuitable” people who have had the temerity to put themselves forward for election to local councils.
No conspiracy theorists, anti vax morons, anti government protestors or non socialist people allowed.
Let’s go round the country and “out” them so people know who not to vote for.
I will take notice of this when I see the same journalists applying the same conditions to Candidates closely aligned to all political parties.
Not to mention local hot shot business people who think that getting elected to the council will facilitate their plans to further their subdivision, building plans etc.
Also, these journalists possibly do not have much idea about how councils are managed and led.
It is not easy for single issue electeds to get traction for their pet policies – there is no commanding attention at the council meetings.
It is run by the staff. Every meeting has a set agenda focussed on the business of the day.
There is no free for all general debate featuring individual agendas.

This morning on TalkbackZB, Kate Hawkesby stated that a bunch of potential students visited an NZ University to ascertain what Uni Courses they may embark on.
When being lectured about School Teaching, they were informed that being proficient in Te Reo was compulsory and their proficiency in such would be tested every two years. Then, apparently, the lecturer went on to say that if they weren’t keen on learning Te Reo, School Teaching wasn’t for them.
Geez, who initiated this mandate and under whose authority?
Will Luxon reverse this mandate?

  Well, my own perspective is that anyone posting on Facebook against the current zeitgeist of Maori-wonderfulness and the ‘living treasure that is Te Reo’ is risking accusations of thought crime.
  
  I keep my FB clean, and use a nickname here for good reason.
  If you have a career or reputation which might be impacted by thought-crime, then the article shows how someone might stalk you for your comments and approach your employer.
  Make your profile-privacy for Friends only, or else keep data minimal (like employment) because the employer might make a claim for reputational harm at worst, or empathy training/reeducation at best.
  Employers fear social media outrage more than shafting their employees, so beware all.
  Note that I feedback in no uncertain terms to my company directly about ‘diversity and equity’ (i.e discrimate against white males) in my workplace, and the pointlessness of karakia for most people. This cancer is creeping from the public sector into corporates. But my social media FB or Linked In, I keep that non-political.

It occurred to me yesterday that the iceberg analogy could apply pretty well to our government in the whole.

There’s the tiny bit we see that we can vote for and change. It might be Red (with a splash of Green and Black) or it might be Blue with a splash of Yellow.

But under that is the 90% that never really changes – the public service – and is the big problem. We have no effective way to control that part.

The like with an iceberg, the direction that the government, as a whole, goes is really dictated by the hidden 90%. The wind (us voters) blowing on the bit that sticks out (or repainting it Red or Blue) really changes nothing.

At some stage, the politicians had the ability to control the public service, but perhaps they no longer can (or have lost the will to do so).

  Here is an observation I made to someone a couple of years ago:
  
  “I worked for a council for 5 years, after a lifetime of private employers.
  I learned very quickly that the elected councillors had very little to do with the decision-making process: that was the job of group managers, the CEO, and selected ideologically-driven employees.
  And what made it worse, some of those employees were appointed by their managers, and did not go through a competitive selection process where the position was contested by applicants. They may previously have been consultants or part-time ‘advisors’ .
  Many council employees have had little or more likely no private employment experience.
  I also found very quickly that the elected councillors and Mayor were egotists and in several cases bloody thick.”.

  This isn’t quite true WRT Government (vs Council) as the Minister for a particular portfolio sets the standard, tone, direction, etc. for their portfolios. They appoint senior managers, etc. who should run the department based on the Ministers direction.
  
  While not everything done National has been good, we can see cyclically that under Liebour the “civil services” have degraded and things have moved in the wrong direction, where under most National Governments things tend to turn around and improve, if some what slowly. I’m aware this is a generalization, but it seems valid in broad sweeps.
  Part of our issues are:
  1) It’s easy so screw things up quickly and really hard to fix things up once they are broken.
  2) People feel hard done by when a government (National) implement austerity measures to try fix things that Liebour have broken in the largess.
  3) People love the “free stuff” being given out under a bad Liebour Government, but it’s this very behaviour that stuffs the services up.
  4) The MSM is heavily biased towards the left, so they report unfavorably on actions that “hurt” the public but are needed to fix things. Similarly they report favorably or are silent on things that break the services.
  5) Social Services are what my dad always called “protected employment” because it was very had to get fired. The result is good staff tend to get frustrated and move on, and bad/lazy/left leaning staff tend to accumulate. This needs to change.

Inflation just keeps on trucking.

Last couple of days, eggs up massively at both PaknSave and New World. Standard, mixed grade jumped 50 cents a dozen. Size 7, which I usually buy, up 90 cents dozen.

Frozen french fries, Pam’s brand at New World, up nearly a dollar from last week, which is about a 25% jump.

Those two are produced in NZ. Strangely, things like Robert Harris coffee and Dilmah tea have held their price since before the inflation. As have many other imported products.

Also noticed some products have had price jumps which within a week are reversed or substantially reduced. This has happened with some wines and many canned products. The wholesale price signals being sent out must be highly volatile.

  The whole thing with Dr Sharma is dead in the water unless the good Dr fronts up with something able to be investigated and verified.
  If the Dr doesn’t front up but truly believes they have been a victim of bulling and witness to forms of crime then he is no hero to anyone, just another simpering enabler of an environment harming not just himself but countless others and probably most of the reason those bent walls contain what political human detritus they do.
  
  He has been silenced and Recinda has bobbled above the mess all “clean and caring” with the help of a very partisan MSN while the Labour party drones sling sticky shyt with more accuracy than a monkey caged in a zoo….its instinctive and effective and expected.

  He is referring again to backpackers, without having a proper understanding of their contribution.
  
  The International Visitor Survey shows that their mean expenditure is only a little less than the average. They spend less than the daily average for all visitors, but they stay longer than average.
  
  Backpackers also often do paid work while they are here. The fact that Covid has kept most of them out of the country explains why much of NZ’s fruit has been left to rot, rather than being harvested and exported.
  
  In addition, backpackers are generally young, bright and dynamic – just the sort of people we should be encouraging to migrate here.
  
  We need more backpackers, not fewer.

Anyway, Steve posted this piece of information that he found over on my old friend el gato malo’s blog site.

The CDC and all of the other “sources of truth” have said since the vaccines started rolling out that:
“the mRNA and spike protein do not last long in the body.

Our cells break down mRNA from these vaccines and get rid of it within a few days of vaccination.

Scientists estimate that the spike proteins, like other proteins our bodies create, may stay in the body for up to a few weeks.”

Anyone saying otherwise would be deplatformed or suspended in a heartbeat.

  But parents need to organise and share information. They need to confront schools and protect their children because you sure as hell can’t trust teachers or apparently the entire public education system to protect them.

For national mental health, Cabinet minister Little’s plan includes a “kaupapa” [i.e., agenda] Maori approach to therapy and intervention.

That seems to entail tohunga treatment of psychiatric disorders.

Tohunga were the practitioners of Rongoa Maori, or Maori medicine. This includes “spiritual healing” for psychiatric illness.

Little is completing the resurrection of this treatment, which was driven underground by the Tohunga Suppression Act of 1907, legislation which was supported by the then four Maori members of Parliament.

An interesting mention in the link below is that “knowledge and practice borrowed from Western medicine may be incorporated into treatment.”

To be fair, there are Western non-standard medical practitioners ranging to colour-therapists. But I doubt that colour therapists are on the State health payroll.

Does Little also see tohunga as an answer to the crisis in the country’s health-system crisis?

Dr Gaurav Sharma has come out swinging, and this time he’s aiming for the PM’s office. He has released a recording of a call made to him after Monday’s “caucus meeting minus one”, where he was warned about the meeting the following day being a done deal, and likely “brutal” towards him.
