I wonder what the so called team of 5 Million will be thinking on our Prime Minister’s toxic last 24hours where she was caught out lying on major problems for the Government, Jessica Mutch McKay teased the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on people and children living in cars and got the response that was obviously wanted with the Prime Minister blaming everything and everybody bar the Government for the situational came up with a new lie in that we never had the correct figures of the numbers of those sleeping in cars so that is why the problem exists today.
Then we have the blast of Gaurav Sharma dropping the bomb on Jacinda Ardern’s lies over his suspension from the Labour Party in Parliamentthat many have penned and voiced their opinions on so what a Friday we can look forward to today who will get caught in the cover up of lies and will the ponce Kiernan McNulty on line to be the head bully or will Jacinda throw him under the bus like she has on other occasions.

  I have always found Bobbleheads presentation condescending and arrogant. Its like ‘Sigh why am I having to explain myself to you thick ignorant peasants”.
  It gets even more so when she is trying to defend the indefensible. I was reminded of this last need when she was on TV3 talking about the Sharma matter.
  One hopes more citizens will come to realise she is a contemptous arrogant bitch who deserves to go down at the next elections.

    Mc.Anulty bet The spelling is wrong. He reminds me of O’Brien Room 101 from the Ministry of Love in George Orwell’s novel “1984”. Smith (Sharma) goes to visit him on orders and gets the “treatment”.

  It is always the cover up not the crime that gets you into trouble.
  Personally I blame Jacinda’s parents because you really should teach your child that fact by the age of 5, sure they will keep making mistakes but by 16 or so this lying to cover up things should be no longer part of their make up.
  That said I am enjoying this because finally people may get to see the PM as many on here do, a lying bully.

    And her father is also a highly regarded Policeman in his time and Diplomat in the Pacific.
    The must be sad that after 25years of their daughter’s life she gave up the standards that she has been brought up with – and now for over 15 years has become a lying tyrant.

Sharmageddon – continued, a little –
Speaking to Morning Report, Sharma said Ardern “had already made up her mind, as did the rest of the leadership, and the caucus”.
“It’s like organising a jury to sit down together with the whole court apart from the accused, and for them to meet up a day before and agree on what’s going to happen. And then next day, presented as it is going to be a fair trial,” Sharma said.
Ardern has stressed the decision to suspend Sharma from the Labour caucus was not predetermined.
“Natural justice is very important to our team,” she said on Tuesday.
The meeting was convened as MPs felt they were unable to freely discuss the situation with Sharma present, Ardern said.
Sharma said Ardern’s comments were not credible. [1]

It would seem that in simple commonsense perception, at least on this one point – Ardern’s comments were not credible – Sharma is right.
Nor are the rest of the Labour leadership, and the caucus who attended the secret meeting, credible either.

Except perhaps for Sharma’s secret ally MP, who’s identity Ardern may not know – as we don’t.

    I think the point of the meeting was to make clear to everyone that there would be zero tolerance for any support for Sharma. The worst possible outcome for Labour was if anyone dared to back him. They couldn’t risk that happening in a meeting Sharma was at so they had to hold it without him.

    Swifty – the good news is that Ardern’s “kind and caring” fake facade and the media shills are no longer able to hide the reality. That Ardern is the most incompetent and worst PM in the history of the country and the media are nothing more than overpaid stenographers. They are destroying the profession.
    The lack of trust in the Labour Party and the media will take at least a decade to recover from. I only hope National don’t just muddle along with the same crap just because they aren’t going to have to do much to win the next election.

    VFF are examples of everything that was great about this country and they are actively working behind the scenes to rebuild that sense of community and belonging with the many small local groups they have around the country. I recommend finding out who your nearest coordinator is and making contact. They are all about being ACTUALLY kind and caring. Not the fake, plastic “compassion” of Ardern. She has tainted the word.
    
    The smear campaign and hit jobs being done on them by the media on behalf of Ardern are beyond contempt. The good news is, they are obviously doing something good because the flak is getting heavier. The even better news is, as Ardern falls, they are rising.
    From the beginning of the covid circus, the one thing that kept me going during the darkest of days was my intrinsic belief that good will eventually always win over evil. That karma is a thing. This week has been a fine example that my belief was well founded.

As Paul Goldsmith highlighted this morning Richard Hills an Independent (Labour) candidate for council (Glenfield) ward, has his billboards coloured blue.         CM, thanks for the link. There was nothing in the bfd article for me that I could disagree with.
        Of interest to me were the comments about the candidate for Councillor to represent Rodney. She is one of three Board members representing Warkworth, she has never had my vote and is never likely to get it. When we read she was standing for Council we were surprised, like Jaspinda, this candidate seems to be unaware of loathing she has created in the voters of Rodney towards her. This is because of the way she and her political partner (the Chairman of the Rodney Local Board) & the rest of their Rodney First cabal have represented the interests of Rodney, these 6 years. Unemployment for all of them would be a beneficial relief to the residents of Rodney.
        Whether it is a recognition of the loathing the candidate has endeared in the people she was elected to represent, you cannot find a hoarding in the northeast of Rodney urging support for her candidacy or the Rodney First ticket Board candidates. To find any such hoardings you have to travel out to Waimauku, given she was elected as a member from Warkworth, that must tell you something.
        In fact given her record as a RLB member for 9 years, it is hard to believe she was ever Act’s deputy leader & a potential candidate to be a MP until shortly before the 2020 election. Thankfully, someone did the necessary in 2020, and here is hoping that unemployment for her becons in October.
        As for Derby, if only the people of Devonport would do the rest of Auckland a favour and retire his political career. With the same outcome for Hills in Glenfield.

      Heard a woman on the radio this morning pleading with voters to check out the candidates in local elections before they voted for them. She said to ask them if they supported mandates and mask wearing and if they didn’t you would know they were dangerous extremists. Funny because I thought those people who coerced us to have jabs we didn’t want and wear masks that don’t work trampling on our human rights are the extremists. Orwellian or what?

        In one of many articles that Stuff are desperately swamping us with, regarding VFF standing for local body elections, they quote a political scientist as calling these people “pretty dangerous“, describing the idea of them daring to exercise their democratic right and stand as candidates as “a worrying development”, and worries that having them on local councils could have “life-threatening consequences“.
        
        And I see that Stuff has an opinion piece up about why they produced a documentary called “Fire and Fury” (haven’t watched it, not going to waste my time) about the Wellington protest. It is entitled:

        Yes, that’s right. Stuff are describing people who had the audacity to – gasp! – protest against something, as “Monsters”. These are our neighbours, our friends, ordinary people who simply had enough and decided to stand up for what they believed in. Stuff is referring to people they disagree with as “Monsters”.

        kowtow – that Otago Daily Times editorial hit job on VFF today was nothing short of toxic leftist bile, while completely missing the irony of cancelling freedom of expression.
        Accordingly our subscription to ODT was cancelled today,.
        When asked, the pleasant guy on the ODT end of the phone advised that he would indicate my “reason for cancelling” to the appropriate people (I somehow doubt that!) and he added that they would pay the $66.00 remaining credit to the local Community Hospice; maybe they’re not all bad, but for me today was the hair broke the camel’s back.

But what about the Auckland and Wellington mayoral candidates, both members of the Labour Party, both endorse by the Labour Party, and one of whom is a sitting Labour MP, who are standing as independents?       Maggy – it’s an easy problem to fix. I’m sure the vaccine passport infrastructure is still in place? Just add a section on it that says “acceptable candidate for political office” under the vaccine status bit! Obviously there would have to be a government department to check out the credentials of those thinking about running for office. No doubt good, wholesome, unbiased people like Pakes would do a sterling job of protecting the general public from these lunatics.
      
      What a handy tool that could be for so many things. We could stop these “dangerous extremists” before they even get to the starting block! The PM is a genius coming up with digital “papers”.

    There are often people who stand for local and national office for whom I would not vote.
    But I defend their right to put their names forward and let the voters decide via the ballot box.
    Why would you deny citizens , ratepayers and taxpayers their right to stand for election in a democratic society?

    The President of FIANZ (Federation of Islamic Associations), Abdur Razzaq, was on RNZ the other day calling for legislation that made it unlawful for Arps to stand for school board elections.

    I agree wholeheartedly agree with Mr Razzaq and support his call for legislation removing undesirables standing for any public position across the nation.
    
    Let’start with Mr Razzaq.
    
    He holds a national position on a group which believes:
    
    1. Jews are descendants of ‘monkeys and pigs’ and are the greatest force of evil in the world
    2. Jews should all be assembled and centralised in Israel where they can and will be ‘wiped off the face of the earth’
    3. Under Islamic law non-Muslims have fewer rights than Muslims and that Muslim men have more rights than Muslim women
    4. Under Islamic law non-Muslims must either become Muslim, submit to Muslims and pay a protection tax, or live in a state of war
    
    Of course, while these beliefs are all documented in the Islamic foundational texts and are preached continuously in masjid across the globe, there is a chance that Mr Razzaq doesn’t personally believe these things notwithstanding the FIANZ office he holds.
    
    In that case should be head down to his local mosque and film himself declaring to the assembled congregation that he believes none of these things and in deed that the Koran is wrong – then I will withdraw and apologise.
    
    Until then, again, I call for Labour to bring in legislation, under urgency, disbarring any Muslim from seeking public office in New Zealand – due purely to the totally abhorrent views they hold.

    In a democratic country I would never say that someone should not be standing. It is up to the people to decide who they vote for and therefore who is elected.
    There is one person who has been reported as standing (who I won’t name, as it’s the principle and not the person at stake) but who I would hope that no sensible person will vote for – I imagine he will get a few votes from his family/friends, from some anti-establishment kind of people, and from a few people who will delight in voting for the most unsuitable person. However I believe it is very unlikely he will get many votes – that is democracy in action.

    I consider any candidate with a chin tattoo to be unacceptable, as a sign of Te Wananga conditioning and indoctrination – can presume a whole lot of emotional and perspective issues with them, including renaming of streets or modern settlements, co-goverance metastasis, and sticks poked into the eye of any ‘colonist’ descendants, assertions of structural waaacism etc.
    
    But they have every right to stand.
    As do the people who vote for them have a right to support them.
    I choose not to vote for them.
    That is how it works.

  BY – I’ve found myself following a pattern of sorts in the last year. Once I understood how much I was being lied to, gaslit, manipulated and propagandised by this government under Ardern, I now do the exact opposite to what I identify it is they are trying to nudge me towards.
  It’s great of Stuff to identify the candidates that Ardern is most afraid of. It makes it easier to know who to vote for.
  It’s like when I’m scrolling through social media and I see the “fact checker” or “misinformation” label. I focus in on it because 90% of the time, the information is 100% correct.

  Yes she might be picking out certain candidates who stand out a bit more than others but all she is doing is giving a personal profile of them and their background and then it’s up to voters to make their choice.
  Nobody is declaring anyone unacceptable and saying they should not vote for them.
  If anything she is saying is untrue or not accurate the individuals can take legal recourse but given most of the content has been lifted off their own social media profiles I doubt they will.

    This is a technical point. All GPs work under supervision for some time before they are made members of the collage of GPs. It’s got nothing to do with qualification in the traditional sense but everything to do with proving yourself competent.
    Even the “supervision” is at arm’s length, the supervising Dr doesn’t stand there while he works, he only reviews his cases, diagnoses and recommendations to ensure the appropriate, and try pick up any potential issues. i.e. Is the man competent.

He doesn’t come across as the sort of personality that likes to be muzzled.   Smart people harmless. They know that they know something about an area, but that they don’t know everything about it. They are smart enough to know that because they are a great mathematician that doesn’t mean their views on biology are any more worthwhile than anyone else.
  
  Stupid smart people are dangerous. They know something about an area but may think they know everything there is to know about it. They think that their view on other things are more valid than others. Micheal Baker is an excellent example of this. Smart guy, probably knows a lot about virology BUT he thinks this qualifies him to make economic and social decisions.
  
  I don’t know Sharma and I don’t think anyone else here really does either but I would suggest that Sharma might be a Stupid smart person. Smart, knows about health but thinks that qualifies him as an expert on everything else. Clearly his interpersonal and political abilities leave something to be desired.
  
  I think many in Labour (and some in other parties) are Smart stupid people. They think they know better than others and are unwilling to accept they might be wrong.

Although the vaccine death count is fast rising overseas this isnt really apparent in NZ here as the jaxx roll out was so slow. The big cover up isnt likely to be jaxx related. Vaccine death count in NZ will not be hidden until 2023.

It indicates a much higher death rate for the vaccinated v. the unvaccinated.

There are many reasons this may be true though – for example, how many of the vaccinated were under-achievers, complacent, non critical types with pre-existing health conditons?

I’d suggest, this alone would account for some of the fatalities. People who were stupid enough to believe teh Government would save them, when their deaths were already written out due to their decades of unwise lifestyle decisions.

  Yes. And where do you think those people will go if they can’t safely go home? They go to hospital. And they stay there. And they die there because hospitals are not set up for long term care of the frail elderly and especially not for the frail, demented elderly. It’s terrible. Mind you, the situation in rest homes is pretty dire too – not enough staff is hard on residents and staff alike. I have a friend with elderly parents in a rest home – they are allowed one visitor for one hour each day. I suspect the rest home is doing the best it can with what it’s got. But this is the fallout of The governments ‘kind’ policies. Apparently it’s ‘kinder’ to let old people die of loneliness than of covid. And ‘kinder’ that they make decisions on what is best for people. They need to get back to basics: keeping the lights on and the streets safe. I would include keeping the water running, but their current efforts in that direction are just too depressing.

    Auckland Transport has released a survey of what Aucklandlers really think of cycling lanes. They keep saying the vast majority want cycle lanes, but in their survey only 12% of Aucklanders want cycle lanes. Top 5 issues in the survey are improved public transport and 4 slightly differently worded things that can all be grouped under improved roading to ease congestion.
    Report is 18 months old and has just been released in OIA request, and discussed on HDPA last night.
    Christchurch may well have similar numbers.

      Whether these activists like it or not, Christchurch transport is focused on cars and that is not going to change. Sure there are cyclists. I see dozens of them every day. I fact, Christchurch has above average numbers of folk cycling to work – 5 percent vs 2 percent for all of New Zealand. But that is less than were cycling 40 years ago.
      
      But this is dwarfed by the 73 percent share of people travelling to work in motor vehicles.

        We do of course need public transport. Not everyone has access to a car. But I cannot believe that the current system in Christchurch is efficient. I bet a team of logistics experts could design a system of minibuses and flexible routes. Allow the drivers to keep all the fare money. Right now the drivers get paid even if there are zero passengers.

I’m guessing that a Labour MP calling Jacinda is a liar 🤥 is fatal. Only question now is whether he stays as an independent or resigns.

Labour is in a dilemma. They would like to be rid of him but by elections are volatile. Anything could happen if he stands again. On the other hand, if he stays in Parliament he will throw rocks for the next 12 months.

No good options for the government. 😂

Just listened to Sharma, no hesitation in answering questions, no needing to think back to what he has previously said, consistent with his facts, well organised mind, clear and concise. I have no doubt he is telling the truth. We knew it and the media knows it but covered it up by omission because they have the same beliefs, been captured by the PM, the money and her kindness b/s. Media are a laughing stock with zero credibility.

    What is really very interesting is his exposure of , and naming the panel at the head of, meetings to train MPs in a reoccurring theme: How to avoid any paper trail and/or frustrate OIA requests!
    The detail shows there is authenticity here.
    
    Also very cynical trick by the PMs staff to be part time ‘Labour Leader’, and part time ‘PM staff,’ so that requests for correspondence can be held back on the basis of interpreting them as one or the other, according to the scope of the OIA request.
    Again, this detail sounds competely authentic.
    Open and transparent – actively trying hard to be the opposite.
    A bit like the memo that got out a couple years back ‘We do not need to explain ourselves to the media’, the manipulation of the image of Ardern and kindness is at complete odds with their hidden agendas and concerns around controlling perceptions.
    
    This is how the can get away with calling He Puapua ‘a discussion document’ and never tabled for serious consideration, and acting like a big nothing, when it is clear who the authors were, and there are many wheels turning and well-laid plans, to hand over power and control to Maori nationalists. It is no accident that so much happens to entrench a brown-elite at the same time as campaigns to smoke-screening the rationale for power transfers.
    
    Really neat how their secret ‘Not caucus meeting’ with all of caucus save one was exposed as well. Another ‘off the record/nothing to see here/100% concerned with natural justice’ verbal-only.
    Well done Sharma. Pull back the blinds on the real nature of the party.

If anyone has doubts about Sharma, his interview with Hosking suggests the opposite – confident and willing to partake in an independent investigation (rather than a closed door Labour sham, as what occurred a few days ago)!

      Wait and see.
      There was a short timeline proposed, and I expect a QC will well document what they have done, and what they found, and recommendations.
      That particular industry is nothing if not ‘by the book’, fastidious, and thorough.
      And the fact an independent enquiry was so quickly called was the right thing to do in any case.
      
      Unlike the Labour party – which actively trains its ministers in how to not leave any trail on their discussion, and how to frustrate attempts where they do exist.
      And rather than look into it with fresh eyes, simply announced nothing to see here and punished the person who made allegations of bullying.
      Their only real concern is that someone broke ranks, and they gave him a backhand slap in the hopes that would end it.

    Good point Ross. It’s our national shame as long as we have people living in cars due to poverty especially kids. I feel the point you missed though is Cindy made it very clear leading up to the 2017 election she was going to eliminate this in particular and also build 100k kiwibuild homes in the fist 3 years. So now we have even worse statistics for kids/people living in cars and absolutely failed kiwibuild or any state built homes. So we are 10 steps back under Labour. Not even scratching the surface of being further ahead. So now do you still feel Labour has achieved enough to vote for them again?

Have a little look behind the Fire Service standoff. The Union spokesman suggests there is a breakdown between the Firefighters and the Board/Minister.
The Minister responsible for this is Jan Tinetti – ex schoolteacher and a Labour list MP.
The Board comprises the first woman to chair the FENZ board, appointed with fanfare in 2021.
Two other women who are professional board members, one of whom is on the board of the EPA – Environmental Protection Assn.
A property lawyer who specialises in Maori Land claims & all matters Maori.
Finally, an accountant with an actual track record in the related fields Fire and Emergency staff operate in – i.e relatable experience.
Why should there be any disconnect with understanding and funding the realities of the tasks the Fire Service is asked to deliver?
Surely this little dynamic just epitomises why the country is going backwards – welcome to woke!

Rogue MP “dies suddenly”

The Labour MP at the centre of allegations of bullying and cover ups has died suddenly. His body was found in a skip at the east end of Molesworth St in Wellington.

According to the coroners report, he died from multiple stab wounds in the back. Additionally his genitals had been removed and stuffed in his mouth.

Police immediately ruled out foul play, and took the unusual step of providing details of the suicide note pinned to his upper lip.

“I don’t want to jepradise the pardy. I am guildy”, it said.

Why can’t Jacinda pronounce Gauruv Sharma’s name correctly?

Gaurav Sharma’s name is pronounced “go” as in the “go” in Phil Goff, and “ruv” as in the “ru” in rub. How hard is it for New Zealand’s brightest political commentators to do their homework, look for a video of him saying his name, or even just ask him how his name is to be pronounced? Too hard it seems.

  TBH I did not know how to pronounce his name, so good to know. However you would think that the PM would make the effort to know how to pronounce the names of her caucus members.
  
  I frequently encounter new colleagues who have names that I have difficulty pronouncing. I ask them how to pronounce their name.
  
  This may seem like a small thing, but a PM that cannot pronounce his name – it reeks of arrogance and disrespect.

  Excellent article by Melanie Sharma-Barrow, she also raises other worthy discussion points such as why are the Indian community not speaking up in support of Sharma (and a very subtle dig that although it’s very general in nature – I would ask whether Labour are also using his “heritage” (and one of achievement) against him by quickly dismissing his concerns, which they wouldn’t dare do if it were one of their “protected”, ahem co-governing types … which they would ensure they tread carefully and “fairly” – everything Labour isn’t doing with Sharma)!

      One of the big eye openers was the aircraft behaves differently due to the MCAS system when it thinks it is approaching a stall because the engines are bigger and the centre of balance has changed.
      Boeing didn’t tell the airlines (or regulators) about the change in behaviour as that would have delayed the aircrafts certification. Infact they mocked Ethiopean Airlines when they wanted a briefing on the MCAS system. So Ethiopean Airlines was more professional than Boeing… what a shit show.

      The 737 MAX crash was caused by software, not hardware.
      
      All they need to do is do a simple software “upgrade” and it could start crashing again.
      
      But then Airbus’ “nanny knows best” approach to designing flight software also has a lot of issues and has directly lead to a few of the Airbus crashes (eg. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_France_Flight_447).

Are the fertility issues after vaccination alluded to by the “conspiracy theorists” starting to emerge?

if we see a sharp rise in relative birth rates over the next couple months with % variance vs prior year getting back above the -2% range, i think we can start to conclude with some confidence that covid vaccines, if they had any effect on birth rates, were transitory in their impact.

on the other hand, if birth rates remain deeply depressed in the -4-8% range, i think we’re seeing support for the idea that there is some other cause than blackout baby boom and world opening bust in play. given the hard, independent science here (linked above), i think that would put vaccine induced infertility at the top of the suspects list as we have sound a priori reason to suspect effect and tight temporal linkage on commencement.

The excellent el gato malo does an in depth analysis of data out of Sweden. Unlike Ardern, they don’t claim to be a “single source of truth” and shut down any dissenting pov. Instead they look at the whole picture and present all of the options on the complete scale.

They don’t jump to conclusions, instead it is measured and rational analysis. You know, the stuff we haven’t been permitted to indulge in for a few years now?

The numbers don’t look great. The relation to jabs is getting harder to ignore. The same can be said of excess mortality. It will take time to get a clearer picture.
Remember, NZ is about 6 months behind countries in the EU, or all cause mortality has started rising recently. The correlation with the jab rollout is there, but as per above, it will be a while before this data can be considered conclusive. Worth keeping an eye on.

This time from German insurance companies. Insurance companies have no skin in the political game. It’s all about the money for them. Their analysis and observations are far more reliable than anything out of the CDC or Medsafe. Too political interference for their data to be trustworthy, even if they stood up to rigorous inspection, which they don’t.

I am failing to find where or when Jaspinda said this. There are many references on the Google Machine, but no actual sources to the original.
I think the date was 20-09-20.
Maybe it came from Jaspinda speaking from the Podium of Struth? I just don’t know. Better check the favorites and bookmarks on my other computers.
She did say it, otherwise other people like Newshub would not be repeating it.
If anyone else can find it I would like to know.

  There were posters at the anti-mandate occupation quoting Ardern as saying words to the effect that people choosing not to be vaccinated would face no penalties at all.
  
  But I think the date quoted was October 2022, not September as in the Newshub interview.
  
  It’s quite possible though that the Ministry of Truth has expunged any reference to those words in any medium.

    It comes up in numerous sites including mainstream. It reads as a direct quote. There is no way it is coincidence they all use the exact same phrase. Try googling it for yourself.
    We know that the memory holers exist and they are very active. It’s why people need to screenshot the important stuff.
    Just one example of many that I found when searching for it comes from Chris Trotter in a post on interest.co.nz.

    He doesn’t include the quotation marks. It’s actually irrelevant, it is totally clear what she was saying and there is no doubt what the message was.
    Beyond that, I found the whole post disturbing, very dark and in particular the comments. There are quite a few citizens of this country who would have happily punished their fellow citizens for failure to comply with Ardern’s directives. Their total and blind faith in the narrative is concerning. There was ZERO evidence to support the wild claims being made at the time. I won’t repeat them all, we know what they were.
    But too many were happy to punish people for not falling into line. “Kind and caring indeed.”
    
    It’s an unnerving post in which Trotter happily supports Ardern’s drive to compel those who disagree with her to obey. This includes him supporting punishment and exclusion from society.
    His words show us how easily what seems like innocuous nudging for the “greater good” is very close to the initial sanctions and vilification of Jews in the early days of Nazi Germany.
    No, I don’t say that lightly and I don’t try and trivialise what happened then. I am doing what anyone could and should do. Study history and learn from it because those who fail to do so are “doomed to repeat it”.
    
    The first act against the Jews was to announce they were “unclean” and were responsible for spreading disease.

I think in this case, National should be tempted to not run a candidate, and tell supporters to vote for the whistlebower Dr Sharma.

After all, throwing out whistleblowers out of Parliament is not democratic.

    Except that you’re wrong Ross. When Labour and NZF passed the latest iteration of the Waka Jumping legislation in 2018, they gave themselves the power to have an electorate MP who has been expelled by the party able to be removed from Parliament on application to the Speaker.
    
    You may recall that a number of people called on Simon Bridges to have Jami-Lee Ross thrown out of Parliament when he was expelled by National. Bridges eventually chose not to, at least in part because National had opposed the law change. I believe Ross’ mental health was also a factor in the decision.

This situation is totally different from both JLR and Donna Awatere-Huata. Just skimmed the 2005 Supreme Court judgement but her ACT membership lapse resulted in the Speaker ruling her an Independent following ACT advice of the party membership breach.

    It will take months… perhaps years for Dr Sharma to unpack the philosophies/beliefs that he has supported and analyse how they evolved into the corrupt regime he is presently aligned with.
    
    I suspect many of us now hold quite different political views to those we held when we were young and fancy-free.

Finland’s PM, Sanna Marin, 36, is under fire after a leaked video showed her dancing at a private party.

The Independent reports Marin came under fire last year for partying at a night club despite knowing she had come in contact with foreign minister Pekka Haavisto who had contracted Covid-19.

She was also criticised last year for posing for a photograph with Janne Raninen, a former hit man who spent two decades in prison for gang-related murders.

I, Swifty, wish it to be known that I have had a revelation, an epiphany, regarding co-governance in New Zealand.

I now see, for the first time, that co-governance is indeed sophisticated and nuanced; that democracy has ‘moved on’ and that co-governance is nothing at all to be scared of.

Co-governance is Democracy Plus*, it is Democracy 2.0.

I am just so sorry that I didn’t realise all this sooner – and I want to apologise to Labour and Maori Party MPs and the various Maori and non-Maori academics who’s pro-co-governance views I have poo-pooed and lampooned on here and for so long.

They were right and I was wrong.

I am now so convinced of the merits of co-governance I wish the benefits arising from it to be shared widely throughout the whole world.

I now call on, as purely a start, all European Governments to immediately commence establishing co-governance arrangements in their countries.

I call on all European Governments to immediately start drafting and enabling laws to ensure 50% representation by Native Europeans (for ease I shall just refer to them from here on as ‘Whites’) in all public institutions and which is to include a Whites only health system, a Whites only education system, all natural resource bodies co-governed by Whites and of course all public bodies and publicly-elected bodies to be automatically 50% White, by law.

I look forward to Nanaia Mahuta, Rawiri Waititi, Debbie Ngarewa-Packer, Willie Jackson, Kelvin Davis and particularly Jacinda Ardern and all the others supporting co-governance in NZ to support this call and to spread the message whenever they are next overseas.

    With 6 dependents the best she was doing was working part time & still being heavily subsidized for her life choices, also the amount of time she would need to have off to look after sick children and then school holidays etc would be horrendous, making her a hobby worker with a very understanding boss at best. I have nothing against big families but if you can’t afford them don’t have them.
    There is not enough personal responsibility taken in this day and age where every second person thinks they’re owed something for simply drawing a breath.

There’s an old photo in today’s Herald, showing him collapsing at his wife and daughter’s funeral.
One thing we didn’t realise until now…..those Aviator Sunglasses he was wearing are actually only ‘clip-ons’.

  But why do cops prosecute any home owner who injures a crims who invades their home? No jury in the world will convict the home owner.
  
  We witnessed a robbery, called the cops telling them where to find the thief, 111 operator told us to file an insurance claim (even though we explained it wasn’t us being robbed!) .
  
  People have to take the law into their own hands when it is common knowledge that cops don’t do their job (due to under resourcing I suppose).

      It didn’t. As the article states he lives in Helmores Lane and the crime took place in Lyttleton.
      
      I know a bit about this case and it is all very sad. Thank christ no one was badly hurt.

It’s election time and we are voting for our school boards. But the schools agendas or minutes are not public. You have to request them. And then it doesn’t detail the individual votes of the members on an issue or whether there were any dissenters, only that a quorum was achieved.

Similarly, At the beginning of the pandemic I decided to write to my elected health board candidates about my concerns. But there are no email addresses or contact details on the hospital website for the elected members. There are no agendas or minutes. So I rang the hospital and requested the email addresses for the elected members and was not given them.

This is not democracy. It is pointless. You cannot be an informed voter just by reading the candidates own description of themselves in a candidate booklet with no visibility of their voting record.

While Stuff is out desperately trying to disclose candidates affiliations. Maybe it could start by putting pressure on institutions to do the basics.

Just imagine if the government got as good a value from its non bribe spending, as they do from the magical $55 million*!

* I know, I know, “advertising” spending bribes for the Team of $55 million is actually a huge multiple of the $55 million figure.

If National / ACT win next year, it will be delicious to see them turning off the media money taps…

Each week I see more evidence of the incredible burgeoning of the bureaucracy.
This week it was the Reserve Bank. Their communications staff has increased hugely over the past five years whereas their number of economists has, I am not kidding, decreased.

How many maori would really reject colonialism in favour of tribalism?

Under tribalism, a few high ranking tribal members and their close family would be pretty well off. A person’s success in life is based on their lineage rather than their merit.

The majority of tribal members will be slaves or low ranking people, with no chance of moving beyond their station in life. The children of these people are also destined for poorly lives.

My view is that many maori may have been really happy with colonialism . This angle is never really talked about by academics, who always take the views of the tribal elite, and ignore the views of tribal slaves/low caste members.

Newshub can reveal the Ombudsman – who oversees compliance of the Act – has issued a please explain to the Prime Minister.

In a statement, Chief Ombudsman Peter Boshier said: “I am aware of the allegations made by Dr Sharma about the workshop advice and training given to Labour MPs on the Official Information Act.

“I have written to the Prime Minister to seek her assurance that she, along with her Ministers, MPs and staff understand their obligations under the OIA and apply the right processes when handling official information and responding to requests.”

This article points out that excess deaths in the UK from causes other than Covid have jumped by 14.4%, and it is being attributed to lockdown.
The WHO Covid czar recently pointed out that lockdowns should only ever have been used to get the health services in order to meet demand, not as a tool to attempt the futile task of eradication. And lockdowns have now irreparably damaged children’s education.
Is anyone going to scrutinise the Government’s Covid strategy against a background of what was agered to be best practice, its failure to follow it, and the terrible consequences which are already flowing from it? Or is everyone in NZ just going to keep applauding the Government?

  Many, many of us have been challenging the government about all aspects of this from the beginning. We’ve been stonewalled, smeared, ignored, ridiculed and attacked, physically and mentally.
  This has been a disaster from the very beginning. First question should be, why did NZ (along with most other western nations) abandon our long held Pandemic Preparedness Plans which had been updated as recently as 2017?
  These plans were along the lines of the proposals in the Great Barrington Declaration. Very sensible, tried and trusted procedures.
