Hooton did nail it and said it how it is. The sooner more people stand up to blatant racists who widely populate the Liemore Party, the better. Time for every bleeding heart “liberal progressive” to stand aside NOW. We have had enough.

Sure did, well done him. Especially well actually given the word salad nonsense spewing forth from his right.

Why Labour feels such a strong need to pander to a tiny majority of the population because they arrived a few centuries earlier than latter settlers is beyond me.

There can be little doubt that this is a major part of the reason for their plummeting poll numbers.

Members of the NZ Labour Party, and their supporters, think New Zealanders who do not support their every move are scum.

They talk about us as though we are scum.

Simply ask questions about Mahuta, Three Waters or co-governance and you are racist scum.

I have never been more sickened by the values and behaviours of the left ruling class as I am today.

The arrogance, the fact that they’re never, ever wrong, the nastiness, the racism, the waste, the corruption, their use of tax-payer money for their own political advantage, the open lying, the re-writing of history, the open hypocrisy, the use of state power for political purposes, the coercion – all of it.

I detest them.

The Labour party and their cohorts are signing their own death warrant if they think they are going to be re-elected next year.

If they think race baiting and trash talking to anyone who disagrees with them is smart politics then they are in for a shock.

Last weekend’s elections proved among other things Nzers are getting sick to death of woke/socialist people and their bankrupted morals running our council boards.

One only has to remember Helen Clark labelling Don Brash as “cancerous and corrosive” once National drew level with Labour in the polls, and her snide remark to John Key that “you might shout over your wife at home, but not with me” in one of the 2008 election debates.

However I really don’t know what to make of him any longer with some of his output, culminating in this doosey the other week – “If NZ became a republic I’d back Jacinda Ardern for President”

I wonder why Shane? If you have a case lets see the names and accusation of COI leading to family benefiting.

Labour think they can ride out scandals because they control the purse and the press.
Next year will be interesting.
According to Sir Robert Muldoon, people vote with one hand on their wallet. The question is: Will voters be thinking of the cost of living or the latest Labour election bribe? They won’t be thinking of Mahuta and her family.

IMO:

Labour’s plan is to fund the merger of RNZ and TVNZ to the tune of 369 million and have it up and running by March 2023.

Labour’s media plants will direct a sustained, pro Labour, propaganda campaign leading up to the general election.

  Will the media do that though? Bosses and staff will be well aware that the money hosepipe might get turned right down next year. Could be less than 12 months away. The merger big bucks will need to be spent broadly within the plan, as the bosses and Ministers will or should expect that expenses will be scrutinised, questions asked, names named, long lists of fluff involving sausage rolls published and on the interweb forever. Only if there is a change of government of course ….

In terms of debate, saying “That’s racist!” is no different from saying “I find that offensive!” It’s a total non-argument that should be called out whenever seen.

“If someone tells me that I’ve hurt their feelings, I say, ‘I’m still waiting to hear what your point is.’

In this country, I’ve been told, ‘That’s offensive’ as if those two words constitute an argument or a comment. Not to me they don’t.

That’s hilarious how Matthew Hooten says, “White Male, ” with big eyes in defense of his endangered species. It’s very watchable.
Somebody said they don’t know what to make of Mr Hooten’s latest output:

You can get the point home by playing devils advocate; it also opens up the topic.
That and acting dumb. Watch you aren’t being played if someone acts likeable and dumb. It’s a powerful drug, feeling just a little more clever than another. That can come to a polling booth near you.
Here in the U.S. the politicians can present as both narcissistic and dumb. It’s a valid strategy. It could garner more votes for a certain demographic.
And pushing on the Mahuta contracts might well backfire in the face of this.
