How to fix Wikipedia
A good article by Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger on how to fix its liberal bias.
- End decision making by consensus. Have an editorial committee that votes.
- Enable competing articles
- Abolish source blacklists
- Revive the original neutrality policy
- Repeal “ignore all rules”
- Reveal who Wikipedia’s senior editors are
- Let the public rate articles
- End indefinite blocking
- Adopt a legislative process
I find Wikipedia excellent for non-political topics, especially in history, science, entertainment etc. But it does have a significant liberal bias on political topics.
