How to fix Wikipedia

A good article by Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger on how to fix its liberal bias.

  • End decision making by consensus. Have an editorial committee that votes.
  • Enable competing articles
  • Abolish source blacklists
  • Revive the original neutrality policy
  • Repeal “ignore all rules”
  • Reveal who Wikipedia’s senior editors are
  • Let the public rate articles
  • End indefinite blocking
  • Adopt a legislative process

I find Wikipedia excellent for non-political topics, especially in history, science, entertainment etc. But it does have a significant liberal bias on political topics.
