A policy all Govt parties should support

ACT announced:

End compulsory employer collection of union membership fees and make payroll deductions voluntary. Currently, employers must collect and transfer union fees under the Employment Relations Act. Union membership is a relationship between an employee and their union, and employers should not be legally required to administer fee collection on the union’s behalf.

All other incorporated societies have to collect their own membership dues from members. It is pretty easy to do so with Internet banking APs. But unions should have the legislative privilege of forcing employers to collect their fees for them.
