Whoops

August 27th, 2004 at 9:12 am by David Farrar

Oh dear, this is a bit distasteful.

Stuff has an article about a three-year old from Dunedin who got their hand stuck in an industrial mincer. The poor kid is now in a serious condition in hospital.

Underneath the story though there is an online advertisement, proudly offering ‘meat mincers’ for sale.

Mark – trackback is for when you have a weblog of your own, and you do a posting there on something that David or Phil have written here. You’ll want the readers of this blog to know about your response to what’s written here.

By entering the “Trackback” url on your own blog, this blog gets “pinged” and people clicking on the “Trackback” link on this blog will see a list of other blogs that have commented on this posting on this blog.

I’m not explaining this well – try the source:

It’s not a feature that I use at all on my blog, although it makes more sense on well trafficked ones like this one.
