Williams was on Owen’s boat

September 9th, 2008 at 1:23 pm by David Farrar

Just had confirmed from a second source indirectly that was on ’s boat – not months ago but only a few weeks ago. Williams has confirmed this it seems.

The story is he was visiting donors in London (imagine the fuss if National’s President flew overseas to solicit funds) and decided to pop on over to see Owen.

I wonder what interesting topics they may have talked about!

I would have thought by now you would realise that’s okay if it’s Labour ,it’s only when National get involved in this sort of behaviour it’s not okay. I understand he had a really bad case of whisker rash from all the arse kissing that went on.

I wonder how Trevor the Duck feels about foreign billionaires and political bagmen lolling on yachts in the Med … I’m sure he had something to say about that not so long ago???

Not that Trev the Muss has ever seemed to be too troubled about consistency, accuracy, or just plain good manners. He’s a good Minister, in terms of being willing to make decisions. But he’s an ugly politician.

Yep, 2boyz, Labour was just trying to get a beat-up going only days ago about what Lord Ashcroft might have been talking to the Nats about, did finances come up, etc, etc, insinuate, insinuate…….

These people are utterly incapable of feeling any shame or being aware of the glaring hypocrisy that is obvious to everybody else..

How is the ‘mastermind’ behind the Labour campaign – Fraser Carson (www.frasercarson.com) – going to deal with this.

God help them if this is the best ‘ad man’ the Labour Government could come up with.

Is it safe for anyone to donate to Labour now, after all the name calling and rancour shown to their largest donor ever?
Is the university going to take Glenn’s name of the new building too?

I think it is most likely they share an interest in serious debauchery – the “boat” sounds like a place you would not turn down an invitation to !

Oh Yes Fran and Guyon would been thrusting their mikes into JKs face demanding to know why the Nat presdient was solicitoring donations from a businessman who transports evil cigarettes to 3rd world countries and promotes death by nictotine.

Trotter would have written headlines NATS CAPTURED BY EVIL CAPITALIST and written a story about how Glen was bribing them so he could buy up state owned assets on the cheap after the election.

It would be all on but instead not a wimper from these pathetic excuses for real journalists.

just a bunch of underwhelming arse lickers

OMG. Will TV 3 lead with this story tonight?

This group of people, who have forever shamed the name of the Labour Party, know no bounds when it comes to lies and dishonesty.

I imagine that Savage is having fifty shits in his grave right now.

I’m watching the MSM with interest on this one. TV3 ‘staked out’ Key and then ambushed him with wide-eyed questions about Ashcroft when he visited Key. Will they show even a modicum of balance in their flaying of Williams and Clark over this matter? They should. But I doubt it.

So Shipley has dinner at a donors house while the donor isn’t even there and she needs to resign…. It’s OK when Labour do it – move on.

Given Tv3 are so interested in whom meets whom (all meetings are deemed secret by tv3) I expect them to be interviewing williams asking if he met Glenn on his boat.

If Williams was on Glenn’s boat then good on him. I couldn’t care less about leaders meeting people of influence. I just hate the current tall poppy syndrome we currently have in our country.

However if it comes out that the reason for being there and what was being discussed was underhand and corrupt then that is an entirely different matter and should be dealt with accordingly.

I do notice that Labour loves criticizing National, whenever they can for doing things that they themselves do. I think they call it hypocrisy!

The main difference is at least National does it with funds raised from their members and supporters, labour just uses the tax payers monies whenever they can. I think they call it “The Nanny Fund.”

Only minutes now until Glen unleashes the neutron bomb on Peters and Clark the 9th floor spin doctors will be working overtime to get the denial press releases out.

No doubt TVNZ and TV3 will lead the 6pm news with a really important story Helen opening a building and smiling to the ever fawning arse suckers who pass for reporters
