The Rimutakas Add this story to Scoopit!.

There are four of us in the blogmobile crossing the Rimutakas. Whale, myself, Busted Blonde and the Ginga Ninja. We are also playing Horse as we drive. The sun is out at the moment but may not last all day.

We have debated whether a before and after photo of a hoarding would constitute enough proof for convictions. We reckon it may, so will limit ourselves to just taking photos of ones already altered.

I think you’ll find the answer is “Every one of them!”

Let us know if you see any creeps with “slippery” signs out and about DPF.

John Key’s tax-cuts-that-will-fix-everything would make your camper van 9% faster over the Rimutaka hill by the end of the third year. As well as eliminating all those corrupt revenue-gathering traffic cops.

In the mean time, I hope your driver is pulling over regularly so that motorists with a more normal level of performance are not inconvenienced by the blogmobile as it hauls up there in second gear…

[DPF: The blogmobile had a very nice speed going over, but regardless yes many grateful toots as we did use short bays to let traffic pass]

I see the cops have closed the main road of Featherston after finding an injured man. It’s not James Sleep, is it?

[DPF: Not guilty - happened just before we got there.]

After the disappointing “economic” announcement yesterday I’m not surprised you’ve got a range of mountains between you and Wellington.

it is now 11.44, friday night and the blog posts have stopped many hours ago.

Obviously, the company on the Winebago is too good, so we must do our best to entertain it’s occupants.

Unless of course they’ve found a back road bush bar to entertain themselves which of course was the whole excuse for the trip.

    all singles I’m thinking.
